Beef Salpicao

The ideal dish saving you time in the kitchen and enabling you to spend more time with your family. This delectable Filipino dish is called beef salpicao. Recognized for its succulent beef cubes cooked in a flavorful sauce with a lot of garlic. It is easy to make and can be eaten as a main course or as an appetizer. One of the greatest comfort dishes ever. Delightful with a bowl of white rice.

To me, food is as much about the moment, the occasion, the location and the company as it is about the taste.

I was walking my dog, saw this plant, and got a cutting. 😂 I planted it in a pot and now its thriving. They are just easy to propagate.

I realized last year that somehow my life in Sydney is tied to begonias. I have a white begonia I got fron a flower wall in St. Leonards and I got this pink one from a neighbor in Epping. Wondering what's next in my new suburb lol.

Kangkong (Water Spinach) with Bacon

I was thrilled to see this at the Asian grocery and promptly grabbed it because I was craving a healthy supper choice. This green veggie was a staple of my childhood. In our backyard, my father planted this particular veggie. Cooking oil, garlic, onions, vinegar, and soy sauce are used to sauté it. This is a fantastic main course or side dish. It's a terrific vegetarian recipe even without the bacon, but I decided to add some. A tasty, fresh dish that fulfilled my need.
