LABUAN BAJO, INDONESIA - Mini Album Posts: LET'S GO ON VACATION AGAAAIIN!!

If you hear Labuan Bajo, the first thing that comes to mind probably the extinct Komodo. But, if you explore more, you will find another beautiful attraction around it. Labuan Bajo is so beautiful, so mesmerizing, that all the bad things that happened were all overshadowed by it.

To be honest, I've expected Labuan Baju to be water, water, and water. I mean, I thought island hopping would be swimming, snorkeling, diving, everything about water. I was wrong. Beside water, there was hill. The amount of snorkeling and hiking that I did was not equal, I did more hiking than I thought I would lol. But everything was worth it. Bajo really reminds me of Dinosaurs and Land Before Time (if you know the Dinosaurs cartoon). Here comes several photos of me during Bajo trip, ようこそ!

Those were some photos from the Bajo Trip! although the trip was far less from what I expected (boat scam, no drone or underwater camera, lost one day of the trip due to the unprofessional tour) HUFT, it is still one of the endearing trip that I've ever been to.

Lesson learned is if you want to go on a trip with a travel tour, best if you find all the reviews of the tour to be a consideration whether the travel tour have got good reputation or not, and if it involves sailing, ASK the travel tour to video call you to show you the REAL ship that you're gonna use.

A Trip to Little Piece of Heaven on Earth - Part 1

Secara ajaib hari Kamis (4/8) sampai Minggu (7/8) lalu, Teletubies akhirnya benar-benar menginjakkan kaki di Labuan Bajo, Flores, NTT. Masih susah dipercaya betapa impulsive-nya kami berempat Desember 2021 lalu yang randomly membeli tiket promo dari salah satu maskapai. Sengaja plot di bulan Agustus dengan harapan punya cukup waktu untuk menyiapkan cuti, dana, dan keperluan lainnya. Sebetulnya disertai banyak drama menjelang berangkat, but, I think that's another story for another time.

D-1 (Rabu 3/8) rombongan dari Bandung (Aku, Riza, dan Cipuy) sudah berangkat menuju Bandara Soekarno Hatta karena flight kami dijadwalkan pukul 3.40 WIB (cry). Transit dulu di Bandara Juanda Surabaya selama 1 jam 50 menit sebelum akhirnya lanjut ke Bandara Komodo. Kami sampai di Bandara Komodo pukul 8.30 WIB atau 9.30 WITA dengan selamat!

Oiya Rezky was on another flight karena sebuah drama jadinya kami bertiga berangkat dengan maskapai yang berbeda.

Setelah selesai ambil bagasi, kami langsung menuju hotel yang sudah dibook dari jauh-jauh hari. Dan kami beruntung dapat hotel yang proper banget pelayanan, kebersihan, makanan, dan lokasinya dengan harga yang kami bayarkan untuk menginap satu malam dari hari Kamis sampai dengan hari Jumat. Nih aku spill suasana hotel dan pemandangan di depan hotel kami.

Lokasi hotel kami juga dekat sama area Waterfront ini, jadi kami sepanjang sore jalan-jalan di sekitar hotel sambil cari makan malam.

Keesokan harinya, Jumat (5/8) sambil menunggu dijemput, kami sarapan di restonya yang ada di rooftop hotel. Dan lagi-lagi viewnya bikin melongo banget.

Sumpah ya, view di mainland-nya aja udah bikin kagum, saat itu kami belum terbayang akan seperti apa pemandangan di lokasi-lokasi utama tujuan trip kami. Lalu dimulailah perjalanan kami selama 3 hari 2 malam di dalam kapal semi pinisi dari hari Jumat sampai dengan hari Minggu. And I'll share with you on the next part yaa. ngantuk.
