Elizabeth Olsen tried to reach you on the cell phone for the fifth time this morning. It was already 9am at Pinewood Atlanta Studios and you should be awake and actually on set by now. But your calls always were forwarded to the mailbox and her desperate messages to reach you did not come through.
She was beginning to worry. It was not your style at all not to answer the phone, let alone not appear on the film set punctually like you always did. Anxiously, she dialed your number, trying to use the house phone this time, but the call was not answered over it either.
Already during the countless attempts, she was on her way to the other girls who had to shoot their scenes in the new Avenger movie and stumbled into Scarlett's trailer, with the phone firmly to her ear while nervously ruffling her hair. "Have you heard anything from Y/n?"
Both Scarlett and Florence shook their heads thoughtfully and the brunette started pacing in circles. Liz scrolled through her contacts, she hesitated briefly, then she pressed the green receiver and listened to the annoying ringing.
After the second ring, a muffled voice took the call and she could hear the other end trying to squelch some sobs. "Good morning, y/m/n. This is Lizzie. I can not reach y/n and I was wondering if you know where she is? My calls go out but she does not answer. We spoke on the phone last night and she has a shooting day that she did not show up on."
The line went silent and a queasy feeling flared up in the brunette. She bit her lip nervously, fiddling with her coat considerably. Sobs proliferate in her hearing and she did not know what was going on. "Mrs. y/m/n?"
"I am sorry," your mother swallow hard as the words fell out of her mouth in a whisper. She had intended to call your co-worker and best friend, but she had delayed her call this far. She did not know how to teach the tender soul about the news, but she could not help but pour her pure wine now."Y/n had an accident on the way to work."
"Oh my god, what happened?" she asked, drawing the attention of the other two women as well. She quickly supported herself on the small kitchen counter and put her hand over her open mouth.
"According to witnesses, she lost control of the car when a tire hit a very deep pothole." the woman on the other end of the phone said carefully, pausing at each word to maintain her composure. "She crashed into a guardrail, which was breached. She got hurled further until her car finally came to a stop in a ditch. If a nearby tree had not stopped her, she would have-"
She sighed, not daring to voice her thoughts about the horror scenarios in her head. Lizzie's suspicion was quietly confirmed, the feeling deep inside her never deceiving. The brunette wiped her face, on the verge of tears.
"What condition is she in? Which hospital?" The brunette paced restlessly on the rough carpet, trying to find her inner calm after the heart-pounding news. By now, Florence and Scarlett had gathered around her, putting their heads close to the receiver to overhear the conversation. "Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She is in critical condition, doctors are unsure if she will survive the night."
"I will be on my way immediately." She quickly ended the call and threw her cell phone in her coat pocket. With her car keys firmly in her hands so that they were already leaving marks, she hastily left the small room and drove to you, not caring an inch about her job.
ᕚ---ᕘ
The following months were torture for your family. For the first few days the doctors kept you sedated so as not to add to the psychological stress of the pain in order to allow your body to recover as much as possible. Several times a day there were threatening situations in which you had to intervene - from fluctuations in blood pressure to the correct ventilation of your damaged lungs was a constant trouble spot in the intensive care unit, which the doctors kept on their toes.
A pulmonary embolism also spread, which they first tried to solve with conservative methods before they had to intervene surgically to save your life. Even after that, the tension of your mother and your colleagues did not let up. Your blood was so diluted by the drugs that you could suffer a cerebral hemorrhage at any moment.
That evening, Elizabeth Olsen sat on the edge of your bed and held your hand. She talked to you softly, so that no one could hear her. Just like the doctors suggested to her heart. -Talk to her. Hold her hand. She needs something to keep her alive. Tell her about her dreams and goals, if you know them. She needs to want to live-
She did that until late at night. Sometimes she dozed off and slept for an hour, but at last she woke up with a startle, thinking that she felt a squeeze of your hand in hers. And sure enough, after weeks of being in a coma, you finally woke up on your own.
That was three months ago and only today you were able to go back to work. It was cold and raining and you rushed to the set with a large cake pan under your arms. You carefully walked around the puddles to the make-up trailer, the door of which was not completely closed but only ajar.
With your hand raised, you slowly opened the door and saw your best friend getting ready to play her role as Scarlett Witch with her stylist and make-up artist. "Lizzie?" you called, raising your voice to give it more expression and let it shine through the soft music in the background.
Her eyes sought the spot in the mirror that gave her a view of the door before her head was hastily turned to face you. A wide grin stretches across her red lips. "Oh Y/n I did not know you were going to show up for work today," she stammered, and as she spoke, the brunette stood up and walked towards you happily.
"Uh yeah, sorry. I wanted to make it a surprise. Even brought cake, homemade." only now did she notice that you were holding a cake tray with chocolate cake firmly between your arms that was pressed tightly against your body. Elizabeth grabbed your shoulder and gently but firmly pulled you into her arms. "It is so good to have you back."
"I missed your hugs." you sighed and snuggled up to her even tighter before you looked up at her and met her emerald green eyes. Liz looked at you too and she felt her pulse suddenly quicken. There was something in your gaze that made her very nervous. "How are holding up? Any pain I should know about?" she lifted her hand and tenderly stroked your cheek.
You felt your skin tingle under her touch and you wondered if that is how it's supposed to be when you are just friends. She smiled broadly at you and that smile made your heart beat even faster. "A little tug in my thigh every now and then, but do not worry too much. I have survived worse."
"You know I will always worry about you," the brunette replied and you thought you heard a tremor in her voice. You said nothing but still felt her hand warm and soft on your cheek.
All of a sudden you seemed to come back to reality and detached yourself from her. "Where are the others?" you murmured softly and were not impressed by your physical withdrawal, you would like to stay in her arms and feel her closeness as long as you possibly could.
"They are already on set. They will be glad to see you again."

Love Is Blind Season 6: Filming Locations, Couples, and More
Tumblr media
With its original idea—can love bloom without ever seeing each other—Netflix's top-rated reality dating show, "Love is Blind," has swept the globe. Love Is Blind shows center on singles who go on blind dates in specially created "pods" where they can chat but cannot see each other. They can suggest marriage if a relationship develops without ever seeing their spouse. If they say "yes," they fly to a posh holiday spot to visit personally and negotiate the challenges of creating a meaningful connection. The often-shifting backdrop of "Love is Blind" significantly adds to its mystery. Every season presents a fresh viewpoint on the dating life of its singles in a different, energetic city. We are thus delving deeply into the filming sites during the lifetime of the franchise, including tantalizing insider information and must-know tidbits for the "Love is Blind" devoted viewer. Read on to learn more about Love Is Blind Season 6… Where Did Love Is Blind Season 6 Locations Filming For "Love Is Blind" Take Place? Unlike some reality shows centered on one region, "Love is Blind" transports viewers across the United States. The creators focused on the lovely Southern metropolis of Charlotte, North Carolina, for season 6, which debuted in February 2024 and soon became the most streamed season yet. Charlotte offered the ideal setting for the singles to negotiate the emotional rollercoaster of the pods, known for its energetic art culture, excellent dining scene, and friendly atmosphere. The engaged pair started a tropical trip following the pods. Their target is The TRS Turquesa resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Honeymoon happiness found the ideal backdrop in this adults-only, all-inclusive paradise. Imagine paradise for love—palace-fringed beaches, glistening clean seas, and beautiful sunsets. From Where Is The Cast Of Love Is Blind Season 6 Locations? As is customary with Love Is Blind, all singles come from one city. Following seasons set in a deep breath — Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, and Houston, Love Is Blind has a quiver of Cupid's arrows pointed at the hearts of Charlotte, North Carolina, single people. So Charlotte will settle down when all the couples head home to start a life together (or spend a couple of weeks as roommates). What Are Love Is Blind Season 6 Locations? Once the new couples start the pods, they are all flown to a romantic location. This time around, the retreat is a Dominican Republic resort. Like seasons past, this resort is housed inside the Palladium Hotel Group, the TRS Turkesa Hotel. This five-star adults-only, all-inclusive hotel has an on-site casino, provides painting and mixology workshops, and features live music and theatrical events. Are you looking for a spa? You received a spa; it is called Zentropia. At TRS Turquesa, if you can afford it, all your dreams can come true. Love Is Blind Season 6 Locations: Seasons One Through Five "Love is Blind" is not hesitant to change things; every season takes place in a vivid new city throughout the United States. The romantic relationships (as well as dramatic clashes) developed here in this breakdown: Season 1: Playa del Carmen, Mexico; Atlanta, Georgia The first season of "Love is Blind" established the scene in the thriving Atlanta, Georgia. While the opulent post-engagement getaway occurred in the Grand Velas Riviera Maya in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the famous pods were recorded at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayetteville, England. Though the true drama played out as couples negotiated new homes and tried to close the distance between their emotional connection and the reality of daily living, this bright respite presented a breathtaking juxtaposition to the bustle of the metropolis. Season 2 (2022): Chicago, Illinois; Cancún, Mexico Season 2 brought the love experiment right on Chicago's shores of Lake Michigan. Hopeful singles developed relationships in private pods following the now-established pattern before heading out into the windy city to meet their matches personally. Following their engagement in Chicago, the couples savored an opulent trip to TRS Coral Hotel in Cancún, Mexico. This popular tourist spot has vivid nightlife, blue waves, and Mayan ruins. Season 3 (2022): Malibu, California and Dallas, Texas Season 3 saw the show travel south to Dallas, Texas. The vast city's varied culture gave single people a new environment to hunt love. Once more, the pods became a beehive of emotional sensitivity; after proposals were passed, the couples flew to Malibu, California, for an opulent stay at the Malibu Beach House. Season 4 (2023): Playa del Carmen, Mexico; Seattle, Washington "Love is Blind" focused season 4 on the Pacific Northwest. With its laid-back appeal and visual splendor, Seattle became the backdrop for a fresh set of single people looking for love. The famous pods returned, and couples explored the city's energetic coffee scene, gorgeous waterfront, and breathtaking natural settings during the post-engagement era. The recently engaged couples returned to Mexico following relationships blossoming in the pods and delighted in a stunning escape to the TRS Yucatan Hotel in Playa del Carmeo. Season 5 (2023): Playa del Carmen, Mexico; Houston, Texas Season five brought viewers to Houston, Texas, where the couples developed relationships in the pods. Throughout the season, Houston's energetic culture and varied neighborhoods highlighted itself as a new backdrop for the paths of the singles. Their post-engagement getaway was to the opulent Grand Velas Riviera Maya Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The lovers would be the ideal setting for this gorgeous beachside resort since it provides the perfect mix of luxury and leisure. This will help them to commemorate their newly discovered love. The Sparks Still Flying? Examining Couples That Made Lasting Memories Whether couples make it down the aisle (or at least stay together) is one of supporters' most critical questions. The nature of the show makes many couples not survive the change from the pods to the real world. There are, nonetheless, some success tales. As of right now, here is a brief update on couples still together from "Love is Blind": Season 1: Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton; Amber Pike and Matt Barnett Season 2: Not one pair from season 2 is currently together. Season 3: Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton; Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux Season 4: Tiffany Pennywell and Brett Brown, Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah, Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi make up. Season 5: James "Milton" Johnson IV and Lydia Velez Gonzalez Season 6: Amy Cortés and Johnny McIntyre, Jeramey and Sarah Ann. Live Reunion for "Love is Blind" A live reunion, in particular, lets viewers follow up with the couples and witness what happened when the cameras stopped running at the dramatic end of the season. The 2023 reunion was an emotional rollercoaster whereby some couples showed their ongoing love while others revealed breakups. Season 6's success makes it inevitable that "Love is Blind" will return for season 7. Although official confirmation is yet unknown, reports indicate that filming would take place in a big Eastern or Western coast city in the United States. One has floated cities like Washington D.C., Minneapolis/St. Paul and Denver are options. Where the next group of singles will leap of faith in the name of love, only time will tell. Rising as a cultural phenomenon, "Love is Blind" has started discussions on love, connection, and the difficulties in developing a relationship. The show's original idea keeps viewers wondering, and the varied ensemble lets viewers see themselves on television. Will "Love is Blind," therefore, keep overcoming the challenges and generate enduring love relationships? Only time will tell. One thing is sure, though: the drama, the romance, and the original social experiment will captivate us on our screens for subsequent seasons. Read the full article

Idk how big pinewood is but if they’re needing golf carts to go from location to location and some of it is shot at an actual neighborhood and stuff I’d assume it’s pretty big
I’m pretty sure it’s huge. Atlanta film is so big that there’s no way that studios not enormous.

As film and TV sets reopen at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, home to big-screen juggernauts like "Avengers: Endgame," the biggest job is keeping the coronavirus off the Georgia studio's lot.
The several hundred producers, set designers, painters and carpenters working to get productions ready undergo tests for Covid-19 weekly, and sometimes more often. An app tracks workers' symptoms between tests, and a badge system prevents anyone without a negative test result from opening doors on the lot.
The regime of testing will cost more than $1.5 million a month once cameras are rolling and several thousand workers are on set, said the studio's chief executive, Frank Patterson, noting that is what is needed to stay in business.
Pinewood Atlanta is trying to solve a riddle facing a host of businesses, schools and universities headed into this fall: How much Covid-19 testing is needed to ensure people can stay safe and keep organizations functioning amid a pandemic. At many companies, tests for active infections or antibodies are becoming a condition of returning to the workplace, along with symptom checks and stepped-up cleaning practices, medical consultants say.
Mr. Patterson steeped himself in research on testing, viral transmission and air quality when the pandemic halted film shoots in mid-March. With streaming services and Hollywood studios relying on him to produce new content, he aimed to restart his company's shooting as soon as possible and become what he calls "one of the most secure and safest studios in the world."
That security doesn't come cheap. These days, around 200 workers each day get a nasal-swab Covid-19 test, costing Pinewood Atlanta about $200 each. When cameras are rolling later this year, 3,000 to 6,000 workers will be on set daily, compounding costs.
"We have to pay a premium just to get back to work. It's painful, but it's not stopping anyone," Mr. Patterson said.
Pinewood Atlanta has been involved in some of the world's highest-grossing franchises, such as "Avengers: Endgame," as well as content for streaming services. The production company believes testing expenses will eventually qualify for the state's film-production tax credits. A spokeswoman for Georgia's revenue department said it plans to put out guidance on allowed expenses soon.
Employers who want results quickly must hunt for labs that can guarantee speedy results and priority treatment.
Right now, testing in the U.S. involves a patchwork of public, private and academic laboratories that can offer their own testing services or partner with drugstores, doctors and other groups. That decentralized system has recently been plagued by supply-chain strains and a surge in demand that has led to delays in results for many individuals.
"We just don't have a real functioning market," where demand for testing can easily find lab capacity in the U.S., said Sean Murray, president of Eurofins's workplace Covid-19 testing program.
To run its tests, Pinewood Atlanta hired health-testing and software-company BioIQ Inc., which relies on a network of labs. The company offers results in 24 to 48 hours, and Mr. Patterson says his studio is also willing to courier or rapidly ship tests to labs for faster processing.
"The tighter your feedback loop the more quickly you can learn and adapt," BioIQ Chief Executive Justin Bellante said of the need for quick turnaround times in results. Weekslong waits for many people tested in the U.S. have slowed contact-tracing and containment efforts.
Workers at Pinewood Atlanta report for testing days before they are scheduled to be on the lot to allow time for results to come in. A nurse performs a nasal swab for their first test; if that first test comes back negative, subsequent tests are conducted via saliva samples.
All workers on Pinewood productions have to answer health questions via an app on their phones. A completed questionnaire and a negative Covid-19 result get an all-clear code on the app, which workers present at a checkpoint at the studio. To open doors on the campus, workers must scan a badge; the badges only work if the wearer has received a negative test result.
Security guards at the checkpoint on the lot issue cleared workers a different color wristband each day. On-site Covid compliance officers, as well as fellow workers, keep watch to ensure everyone has the same color wristband.
The frequency of testing for workers at the studio is determined by factors such as the level of person-to-person interaction in their jobs. The highest-risk workers are tested three times a week, and Mr. Patterson said some actors prefer daily testing.
Figuring out testing led to some friction along the way, Mr. Patterson said, but partner studios and unions have reached a point where some preproduction work has resumed. The film industry as a whole hasn't yet adopted formal testing rules and Pinewood Atlanta will adjust its still-evolving protocols as standards are established.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has advised that testing workers without virus symptoms may be useful in areas with significant community spread, though employers should consider factors such as the availability of tests and rate of positive results in previous employee tests.
Siemens Healthineers AG's world-wide testing program for its 50,000 workers will rely on consistent rules for all employees and includes regular testing for active infections and viral antibodies.
Workers' testing will depend on their location, the state of infection in the area, how much they travel and their work setting, said Deepak Nath, the company's president of laboratory diagnostics. Those who report to a corporate facility or travel in areas where the virus isn't contained will be required to get weekly tests and monthly antibody tests, which Siemens Healthineers produces.
Public-health officials have given mixed reviews to antibody tests, which require a blood draw to detect the presence of virus-fighting cells. They warn that having had Covid-19 isn't a guarantee against future infections. Yet medical advisers who work with employers say the tests can give companies a sense of the prevalence of the virus among their workforces.
Elon Musk's SpaceX has partnered with the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard to test workers in the Los Angeles area and in Washington state for Covid-19 antibodies, said people familiar with the matter. SpaceX didn't respond to requests for comment.
Dr. Nath said he didn't expect needing such elaborate testing to keep workplaces open back in March, but the continued global infections make it necessary, he said. The company is self-insured, meaning it pays for all of its employee health-care costs. It declined to say how much testing will likely cost.
"We truly haven't used cost as a filter through which to say whether we test or don't test," Dr. Nath said.
Grocery-chain Kroger Co. has begun shipping at-home tests to workers that cost about $60 to process. Microsoft Corp. offers on-site testing to employees and their families if they want it, a spokesman said.
While workplace testing is a financial strain for businesses now, costs could fall as pooled-testing methods become available, Mr. Murray of Eurofins said.
"It really is about money. If it were free, I think there'd be testing all over the place," he said.
Employers are trying other tactics alongside testing such as new air-quality and circulation measures and additional cleaning. At Pinewood Atlanta, productions are likely to employ fewer extras, and intimate moments between actors will be simulated with visual effects, Mr. Patterson said.
"Will it actually be actors exchanging spit? Unlikely," he said. "If we can do characters traveling universes and conquering worlds [with effects], we can certainly have two lovers kissing."

Pinewood Atlanta Studios, production home for Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” is rebranding itself as Trilith Studios as part of a 935-acre master development.
The name change was announced Wednesday, seven months after the owners of Pinewood Atlanta unveiled plans for a 220,000 square-foot expansion due to be completed in the spring of 2022. The six-year-old facility, located south of Atlanta, currently occupies 700 acres and houses more than 50 production-related businesses. Its first movie production was “Ant-Man” and it was also home to “Ant-Man and the Wasp.”
The owners said the name Trilith is emblematic of the three pillars of creativity of storytelling, purpose-built places and emerging technology — and pays home to its British roots. The three-stone structures at the Stonehenge monument near Salisbury in the U.K. are known as trilithons or triliths.
A trilith is an appropriate symbol for our new identity as it represents a nod to our U.K. history while serving as a metaphor for the three pillars of our vision,” said Frank Patterson, president and CEO of Trilith Studios LLC. “The new Trilith Studios brand signals to the entertainment industry our expansion from a facilities business to an ecosystem intentionally built for the creative industries.”
The U.K-based Pinewood Group Limited recently sold its stake in Pinewood Atlanta to its Atlanta-based partners.
Patterson told Variety that in the days following the March 12 expansion announcement, Pinewood Atlanta closed down production due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Managers and staff launched extensive efforts to reopen as quickly and safely as possible.
“We asked ourselves how we could became the safest production facility possible and so we became experts in microbial reduction,” he noted. “Our shops had to be the absolute safest. We were able to reopen in June.”
The master development includes Trilith Studios, vendor businesses, custom homes and micro-villages, chef-driven restaurants and schools — all aimed at servicing the film and creative industries. In January, the studio began a series of strategic investments in content and technology companies with initial investments in Believe Entertainment Group, best known for Academy Award-winning animated short “Dear Basketball,” and Sutikki, a kids entertainment company known for the preschool TV series “Moon and Me.”
Construction on the walkable community began two years ago with plans to house 5,000 residents in 1,400 homes, including 600 multi-family homes. It’s opened Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar, which is the first of 12 innovative food concepts that will complement the shops to be located in Town Centre, a 270,000 square feet retail development.
“We are excited about making a spectacular gathering place where professionals in the creative industries – and anyone who appreciates storytelling and innovation – will feel inspired and at home,” said Rob Parker, president of Trilith Development LLC.The residential neighborhoods at Trilith comprise the largest geothermal community in the United States, with 51% of the development dedicated to green space, and is currently home to more than 1,000 trees. The town is home to the Piedmont Wellness Center, a K-12 micro school with a story arts focus and learner-driven technology called The Forest School, and the University of Georgia’s MFA screenwriting program.
The Georgia Film Academy has its largest campus at Trilith that includes a soundstage, workshops, post facilities and classrooms. In 2021, Parker and development partners plan to build a 180-room boutique hotel, a 120-room select service hotel, a nine-screen luxury cinema and an 18,000 square foot sound stage to host industry and arts-related events in the town.
