Wisptober Day 3 : Roots

“Amongst the roots and mushrooms, you spot an itsy bitsy den.  Suddenly, a snuffling white piglet emerges with…  Wait, is that a wing?!” Little boar piglet for my little wife! We saw some at a wilderness park the other day and they are so cute! (Of course we stayed far away since Mom is quite dangerous!)

A little AU based on a dream I had recently in which the Fellowship teamed up with the Winnie the Pooh characters to escape a natural disaster, and when it was over they all moved into a house together with a massive stockpile of food :) Here's just a few of their interactions; I'll probably do more sketches of the AU if people are interested and if I feel inspired to (which I definitely have more ideas for it!) Anyway I just remember that they were all best buds in the dream and it was super cute so I wanted to do something with it <3

WINNIE THE POOH and A DAY FOR EEYORE

There was a time when I considered developing a Dracula/Winnie the Pooh story (with Sherlock Holmes and Van Helsing, too).

It would have been about Dracula acquiring land in the Hundred Acre Woods, with Pooh and Piglet being stand-ins for Renfield and Jonathan.

(Also, Dracula would have used honey barrels and bees to move his body across continents.)

Tho, now that Steamboat Rodent is in the public domain, I can't help but imagine how perfect he would be as captain of the Demeter.
