Here are some select clips of the interview video I made answering all y’all’s burning questions about my artistic practice 😍. I made this to accompany my IRL show at @sleepycyborggallery in Houston, Texas as an easily accessible virtual component to the exhibition (made a priority due to COVID). Anytime I mentioned an artist, I’ve overlaid text with the artist’s name written since mispronunciation is likely 😬. I hope to do more of these videos in the future! Post Twenty-Five for the #WIPandme prompt challenge. What book made you a writer? Such a loaded question... A love of books made me a writer, but novels like this one by Phoebe Gloeckner and similar diary style books such as So Much To Tell You and The Bride Stripped Bare helped me realise I could publish the things I've written as well, that people would enjoy this sort of contemporary art. That by doing so I would connect with the other humans I share this wonderful planet with in new ways. Did you ever go back to your preschool once you had gotten big and everything looked miniature, like the chairs and the monkey bars, just such smaller than you remembered? I know nothing’s changed, but everything looks totally different to me now.

Tonight I went to the screening of The Diary of a Teenage Girl, a film based off of the graphic novel written by Phoebe Gloeckner. I met her and shes amazing, all i asked for was an autograph and she wrote this ❤️☺️
