#Phoebe's Daughter (Charmed)

Is it just me or do Pheobe's daughters' names seem kinda random? Like naming her first after Prue is one thing, but I always think of Pheobe as very feminine, girly, just very pink and her girls seem to have very masculine names like Parker, Peyton and even PJ seem like boy names. Is that weird? I am reaching?
no i totes agree i would have thought paige Much More Likely to go for the androgenous names and i do think it's really interesting why phoebe did that. i would picture her for comtemporary names, that's for sure, and the gender nuetral names to have a modern vibe to them, but no yeah i would have really expected much more feminine names, and, no hate, but also the taylee mckarty nayvie maylee lakynn route as well
#like paughlytte poseigh and porchya you know?#that does seem her vibe#again no hate when i was in middle school i had already picked out kylatia shae as my daughter's name#phoebe halliwell#charmed#💌

Who did you think would win in a battle?
Wyatt Halliwell or Hope Mikaelson?
Definitely Wyatt Halliwell! Mostly because I haven't actually watched a single episode of any of the Vampire Diaries shows yet, so I have no idea who Hope is. (The main character in Legacies, I think?) (Don't worry, it's on my to watch list, my watch list is just really long atm.) I will say though that Wyatt is gonna be my answer for most situations. (Also thanks for the chance to do a little meta about Wyatt and his powers.)
From an objective standpoint in regards to powers, Wyatt wins against pretty much anything. I've said before and I'll say it again, I believe that Wyatt managed to break the Grand Design in the unchanged future with the exposure of magic, and I think that means he was able to kill some beings that he should not have traditionally been able to, aka the Cleaners and maybe even the Angel(s) of Destiny. (Which also loops into one of my now favorite headcanons that prophecies are made as a warning that a witch capable of breaking the Grand Design is coming.)
The catch, and how I'm able to write Wyatt in literally any conflict in my next gen fics, is that he has a critical weakness: he is terrified at the possibility of what he's capable of. (I have also mentioned that interpretation before, in connection with how Billie unintentionally makes it worse.) That kind of power is a lot for one person to handle, and Wyatt outclasses quite literally everyone around him by a large margin. I think that in a sense, his own fear serves as a kind of limiter on his power because he won't use them to the fullest extent. This is partially because he doesn't fully know what he's capable of because he doesn't experiment with his powers or push boundaries the same way that Chris does. While Wyatt has that kind of power, he lacks a greater amount of control and precision because he doesn't practice.
In a situation where Wyatt does go full-out, however, I think that he wins, no question. It's incredibly rare for him to do so, but one of his primary powers (projection) is a version of reality warping, y'know? That's not even getting into the fact that he has energy waves that can flat-out incinerate enemies without even trying. The challenge is getting him to a place where he doesn't hold back.
#knightlywonders#asks#charmed#wyatt halliwell#i'm sorry i know this definitely isn't what you were looking for but i still need to sit down and watch tvd universe stuff#charmed meta#i was looking through my wyatt tag and i'm surprised i don't have more in there#i love wyatt halliwell so much like he is just a character that i think you can interpret in so many different ways#but canon lends itself to some pretty complex interpretations bc this is a child raised with such a powerful legacy#but also has his own heavy expectations and responsibility from when he is BORN so deciding how to balance it all#is just really interesting to me. he's definitely one of my favorite characters to rotate in my brain#even tho i def don't do it nearly as much as chris and bianca but he's up there#everytime i sit down and plot for the next gen characters i just get obsessed#like phoebe's oldest daughter peyton? love rotating her in my brain she's great#there's just so much to work with the idea of legacy and how their parents impacted them#but also the way that they each kinda have their own responsibilities that are unique to them#along with the unique way that they each approach magic and demons and protecting the innocent#idk i just love next gen so much man

Imagine having a daughter with Joey and everyone getting to see what a good dad he’ll be.
You find yourself seated on the familiar couch in Central Perk, the warm atmosphere wrapping around you like a comforting blanket. The usual banter and laughter fill the air as your friends sipped their coffees and exchanged stories. But today, there’s something different, something special. Your daughter, barely a few months old, is nestled comfortably in Joey’s arms, her tiny fingers curling around his.
Joey’s always been great with kids, but watching him with your daughter is something else entirely. His broad smile softens, his voice drops to a gentle murmur as he tells her stories, the same goofy charm that won you over now directed at the tiny bundle in his arms. Chandler and Ross exchange a glance, their smirks fading into something more akin to admiration.
“Who would’ve thought Joey would be such a natural,” Rachel whispered, her eyes sparkling as she watched the scene unfold.
“Yeah, he’s got the whole dad thing down,” Phoebe added, nodding with approval.
You can see it, too. Joey’s always been known for his playful nature, his sometimes childlike enthusiasm for life, but now there’s a new layer to him. The way he cradles your daughter, the way his fingers brush through her downy tuft of hair, the way he watches over her like she’s the most precious thing in the world, it’s clear he’s found a role he was always meant to play.
Monica leaned over, resting a hand on your shoulder. “She’s gonna grow up with the best dad,” she told you.
You smile, your heart swelling with love and pride as you watch Joey. He caught your gaze, his eyes lighting up in that familiar way, and you know, without a doubt, that your daughter is in the best hands.
Everyone in the room can see it too. Joey Tribbiani, the guy who’s always been your rock, your best friend, your love, is going to be an amazing father. And that’s something everyone can agree on.

So, because I've been working on this series again, I've been getting back into Charmed a bit, and I decided to do something I've been wanting to do since I was, like... eight? And that is to figure out exactly what the Warren Family Tree actually looks like... given that the one we see in canon has some laughably incorrect dates on it.
(Getting birth and death dates wrong on incosequential people I can forgive (Grams' brother apparently married a woman born in 1870-something? It's not impossible, I suppose? She's probably a demon or something.) but what I can't forgive is that they messed up the details of the crucial plot point of that episode that the family tree was made for. (Phoebe gets the family tree out to look up their past lives, and lo and behold, the family tree tells us that Prue's past life died after she was born.))
Still, it's the only real canon information we get about everything between Prudence Warren and P. Baxter (who is Grams' mother. Somehow, I don't think the creators thought through the implications of that. Piper was raised... by a woman she raised. Even if she doesn't remember it, that's still gotta be a bit of a trip if you think about it too hard. Like, do you think Grams learnt the 'keeping her hands busy in the kitchen' thing from her mum? And then teaches it to Piper, who is her mum...). Anyway! That's... over two hundred years unaccounted for, and I don't do well in a creative vacuum. Blank page paralysis is real and devastating.
So I did my damnedest to decipher the very blurry screenshots I managed to get off ITVX, and...
You know another mistake they made? The Charmed power is a female power, and given the show's rather, uh, unconsciously gender-essentialist approach to girl power, it boggles my mind that the family tree is still so patrilineal? Apparently, the Charmed Ones aren't even descended from Prudence Warren? They're descended from her little brother instead? What? How did that get past anyone involved in the process?
But! I jiggled some things around so that the line from Melinda to Prue is an unbroken line of women (trans inclusive!), and discovered that they also, to no one's surprise, didn't put any real thought into the rest of the dates on this thing! In order for all the generations I could see on the family tree to fit into the timescale given, a lot of these ladies were having kids, uh... quite young.
And, sure, one or two, I'd accept, even the majority being under 25 given the social mores/life expectancy/infant mortality of the times, but... I've got a whopping seven (out of fifteen) generations who were 18 or under when they had their first kid. It goes up to eleven if it's 20 or under.
I was really tempted to take a generation out. There's a few that are just one girl baby after another towards the end there, so I could've just whipped one out and rejiggled the dates, but for reasons to do with symbolism and also perfectionist nonsense (I may have been flipping genders left and right, but just toss the dubious canon info out the window?! Never! -rolls my eyes at myself-), I was reluctant.
And then I thought:
Technically, that spell up there that I wrote is a curse. A death curse, even. And I've since decided that both Prudence and her daughter also cast it on their deathbeds, it's a Threefold Death Curse. Because, well, on rewatching a bunch of episodes to check historical dates including, specifically, the one with Melinda's birth in, I was reminded that the Charmed Ones aren't just... extremely powerful witches, but The Most Powerful Witches Of All Time. As in, Eva cast a spell to summon the most powerful witches, and got the Charmed Ones, so it's not just a cute title.
(Now, given Charmed's dubious worldbuilding, you could say that's the Elders sticking their grubby little hands in and doesn't actually mean there will never be a more powerful witch than Prue, Piper, and Phoebe, but I'm going with, no, Eva cast her spell, and magic itself decided Prue, Piper, and Phoebe were what she was asking for.)
So yeah, whatever made the Charmed Ones the Charmed Ones has to pack a mean-ass punch.
Threefold Death Curse it is.
Which means that... Actually, there's an in-built reason why all these Warren Witches are getting pregnant as soon as they discover what sex is. They're literally cursed.
Melinda, dying, grasping onto her vision of her descendants as a last spark of hope: "...My line will continue unbroken, to my daughters this gift I now give..."
Every single future generation, in a chain of faulty pills, broken condoms, inconsiderate lovers, accidents, and possibly worse: "Fucking thanks, Mel" /sarcasm
(Also, we stan P. Baxter, who fought the curse for a whopping thirty-three (33!) years before popping out our beloved Grams. This even while fucking two (2!) guys on the regular for a while there. No wonder she was destined to be reborn into one of the most powerful witches of all time, she was already kick-ass even without that power-boost. The next oldest was Prudence Warren herself, and since that's before the curse got tripled ("Fucking thanks, Prue"), I'm quite satisfied with that.)
Apologies for vanishing again~ ^^” August has been a Hell Month for me, cause I managed, somehow, to break my ankle at the beginning of the month, and let me tell you, that has been an Adventure (and not the good kind). Writing is just not a thing I want to do when I’m having multiple-panic-attacks days alongside eight-hours-in-the-hospital days (the two are not unrelated). And spiffing up my writing for posting is even futher down my list of priorities, so, it maybe another month or so before I get any new writing posted (but! I’m pretty sure I do have a whole completed fic ready for editing and posting once I’m ready to get stuck back in =D)
That being said, I did get a creative itch after a couple of weeks of not touching my writing, so I started digging into some plotting/research I’d been putting off for the sequel to my Charmed AU, The Last Charmed One. (For those of you who remember that/are hoping for the sequel, I have about half of it fully written, but things didn’t go exactly to plan, so I had to re-adjust the entire second half of the plot to compensate… Which I have now done! =D And unless I go nuts at some point between now and then, I’m thinking I’m going to make finishing it my NaNo project this year, so… -fingers crossed-? =D)
Anyway, all this is a prelude to the fact that, in jiggling my plot about, I re-encountered a note I’d made about the… mechanics of the Charmed power in my ‘verse. And this may end up being spoilers somewhere down the line of this series (like… I think it might be part of the plot for book… seven? eight? Something like that…), but given that I have no real guarantee that I’m ever going to get that far, I figured I could throw it into the void now anyway?
Random Charmed/Gramarye backstory ahead (with bonus spell!):

Summaries under the cut
Goddess Girls by Joan Holub
Athena has always been above average. She has never quite fit in at Triton Junior High, but who would've guessed that Athena is actually a goddess? Principal Zeus's daughter, to be exact.
When she's summoned to Mount Olympus Academy, Athena thinks she might actually fit in for the first time in her life. But in some ways, school on Mount Olympus is not that different from down on Earth, and Athena is going to have to deal with the baddest mean girl in history: Medusa!
Ruby Redfort by Lauren Child
Here's the low-down on Ruby she's a genius code-cracker, a daring detective, and a gadget-laden special agent who just happens to be a thirteen-year-old girl. She and her slick side-kick butler, Hitch, foil crimes and get into loads of scrapes with evil villains, but they're always ice-cool in a crisis. In LOOK INTO MY EYES, we go right back to Ruby's beginnings as an agent. When an anonymous caller sets Ruby a challenge, it's not long before she finds her way into the HQ of the most secret of secret agencies -- SPECTRUM. They need her help to crack a code but her desk job soon spirals into an all-out action adventure, as Ruby uncovers the dastardly plans of the formidable Fool's Gold Gang!
The Arkwell Academy by Mindee Arnett

Literally.
Being the only Nightmare at Arkwell Academy, a boarding school for magickind, and living in the shadow of her mother’s infamy, is hard enough. But when Dusty sneaks into Eli Booker’s house, things get a whole lot more complicated. He’s hot, which means sitting on his chest and invading his dreams couldn’t get much more embarrassing. But it does. Eli is dreaming of a murder.
Then Eli’s dream comes true.
Now Dusty has to follow the clues—both within Eli’s dreams and out of them—to stop the killer before more people turn up dead. And before the killer learns what she’s up to and marks her as the next target.
Hitty, Her First Hundred Years by Rachel Field
Hitty is a doll of great charm and character. It is indeed a privilege to publish her memoirs, which, besides being full of the most thrilling adventures on land and sea, also reveal her delightful personality. One glance at her portrait will show that she is no ordinary doll. Hitty, or Mehitable as she was really named, was made in the early 1800s for Phoebe Preble, a little girl from Maine. Young Phoebe was very proud of her beautiful doll and took her everywhere, even on a long sailing trip in a whaler. This is the story of Hitty's years with Phoebe, and the many that follow in the life of a well-loved doll.
George's Secret Key to the Universe by Lucy and Steven Hawking
George's parents, who have always been wary of technology, warn him about their new neighbors: Eric is a scientist and his daughter, Annie, seems to be following in his footsteps. But when George befriends them and Cosmos, their super-computer, he finds himself on a wildly fun adventure, while learning about physics, time, and the universe. With Cosmos's help, he can travel to other planets and a black hole. But what would happen if the wrong people got their hands on Cosmos?
May Bird by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Most people aren't very comfortable in the woods, but the woods of Briery Swamp fit May Bird like a fuzzy mitten. There, she is safe from school and the taunts and teases of kids who don't understand her. Hidden in the trees, May is a warrior princess, and her cat, Somber Kitty, is her brave guardian.
Then May falls into the lake.
When she crawls out, May finds herself in a world that most certainly does not feel like a fuzzy mitten. In fact it is a place few living people have ever seen. Here, towns glow blue beneath zipping stars and the people -- people? -- walk through walls. Here the Book of the Dead holds the answers to everything in the universe. And here, if May is discovered, the horrifyingly evil Bo Cleevil will turn her into nothing.
May Bird must get out.
Fast.
Half Upon a Time by James Riley
Life’s no fairy tale for Jack. After all, his father's been missing ever since that incident with the beanstalk and the giant, and his grandfather keeps pushing him to get out and find a princess to rescue. Who'd want to rescue a snobby, entitled princess anyway? Especially one that falls out of the sky wearing a shirt that says "Punk Princess," and still denies she's royalty. In fact, May doesn't even believe in magic. Yeah, what's that about? May does need help though--a huntsman is chasing her, her grandmother has been kidnapped, and Jack thinks it’s all because of the Wicked Queen . . . mostly because May’s grandmother might just be the long-lost Snow White.
The Moorchild by Eloise Jarvis McGraw
Half moorfolk and half human, and unable to shape-shift or disappear at will, Moql threatens the safety of the Band. So the Folk banish her and send her to live among humans as a changeling. Named Saaski by the couple for whose real baby she was swapped, she grows up taunted and feared by the villagers for being different, and is comfortable only on the moor, playing strange music on her bagpipes.
As Saaski grows up, memories from her forgotten past with the Folks slowly emerge. But so do emotions from her human side, and she begins to realize the terrible wrong the Folk have done to the humans she calls Da and Mumma. She is determined to restore their child to them, even if it means a dangerous return to the world that has already rejected her once.
The Genius Files by Dan Gutman
Coke McDonald and his twin sister, Pepsi, think their family’s cross-country RV vacation is nothing to get excited about...until they’re chased off a cliff, locked in a burning school, and receive mysterious messages in codes and ciphers. From California to Wisconsin, it’s a race against time to find out who’s after Coke and Pep, who’s leaving the notes...and just what being a part of The Genius Files entails!
Time Cat by Lloyd Alexander
Gareth's definitely no ordinary cat. For one thing, he can talk. For another, he's got the power to travel through time. And the instant he tells this to Jason, the two of them are in ancient Egypt, on the first of nine amazing adventures that Jason will never forget.

Charmed Season 2 Ep. 2: Morality Bites
I’m convinced that their trip to the future was fully fabricated by the Elders in order to scare the sisters into staying in line.
What did they even do to this guy? Make him get his own dog’s shit on his shoe? And then he became a witch hunter?? Crazy.
Plus in later seasons the sisters fully start hunting down demons instead of waiting for demons to find them. Is that not “punishing the guilty” instead of “protecting the innocent”?
So if that’s not the issue, maybe it’s using their magic to punish mortals specifically? Like the guy with the dog shit and the baseball player Phoebe supposedly murdered. Bc mortals, like witches, have the potential to be either good or evil. Demons are evil by default, so it’s fine to hunt them down?
Anyway, the other aspects of their trip to the future made me think the whole thing was built to scare them into following The Rules. Phoebe has been shown to be prone towards evil (the Woogy, and in other ways which I find problematic), so they show her killing a human being and being executed for it. Prue lets her busy work schedule interfere with her witchly duties, and just last episode was considering giving up their magic entirely. So they show her a life filled with work work work, to drive her back towards her sisters and their bond. And Piper? Divorced from Leo!! Bc relationships between witches and whitelighters are against The Rules, and maybe if the Elders show Piper that it ends badly, she’ll end it now rather than continuing down the current path. They could manipulate her into ending it with Leo, without having to put their foot down and make Leo and Piper’s relationship all the more romantic for being forbidden.
After all, we know that in the real future, Prue is dead. Piper has a son instead of a daughter as her firstborn and Phoebe doesn’t get crazy brain zapping powers.
The final point of evidence is that the sisters didn’t have to say a spell to get back to the future. “They” brought them back after the sisters had “learned their lesson”. I find that highly suspect. The Elders rarely if ever intervene like that again.
By taking so long to introduce themselves to the sisters in a more direct way, they get the sisters to accept all these rules by rote. “no magic for personal gain”, means only use magic when the Elders want you to. “Everything happens for a reason”: eg, random innocents falling into their laps probably sent by the Elders in the first place.
Once “the powers that be” have a face and they’re not this nebulous ethereal concept, it becomes a lot easier to say “Hey! Why would you do that?! That’s stupid!!” Instead of just accepting that there’s “reasons beyond your comprehension”.
So yeah, I think that trip to the future was a complete fabrication.
We also never question what gives the Elders authority over Good on Earth? What gives them authority over the Charmed ones? They literally abandoned them to figure everything out on their own for the first year of their life as witches. Leo barely stepped in, only when it was absolutely dire. Maybe so they’d be relieved and grateful to have a source or wisdom and guidance after so long fending for themselves?
PS. I’m aware the writers were just making shit up as they went. However, ignoring that and interpreting the text as is, I think it’s a reasonable conclusion.

Charmed Review: horror TV series with female essence

Three witches destined for magic greatness, the Charmed ones as they are popularly known, drew great TV following with their supernatural-effects among the dedicated TV viewers. Prudence Prue Halliwell (Shannen Doherty), the eldest sister who had the power of telekinesis; Piper Halliwell, the witch who has the power to freeze molecules; and Phoebe Halliwell, the youngest and rebellious sister who has the power of premonition these three blood-bound witches became the most powerful witches of all time. Enduring for eight long seasons, these three magically captured the hearts of televiewers with the whisk of the hands and catchy incantations.
However, even with their apparent control over their powers, these cool and modern-day witches have constantly faced, lost to, but, eventually managed to get over with daily wiccan stresses. In one episode, Piper cried a river because the Elders, supreme protectors of good, had to take her husband away from her. Even as she experienced what seemed like an anxiety disorder, she vowed with all her witchly powers that she will one day get her husband back.
Leo (Brian Krause), Piper’s husband also had his share of panic, or anxiety attacks. He discovered that his son Chris, was killed by their trusted friend Gideon who was also an Elder. He wreaked havoc as he hurled thunder from his arms and shot it across the room. These manifestations of anxiety attacks was due to his overwhelming grief over his son’s early demise.
Another turning point of the Charmed Life series was when their eldest sister Prue died because time was manipulated by the Source (highest demon). The remaining witches grew skeptical about their destiny and found themselves on the verge of breaking point. Good thing is, the power of three was reconstituted with the advent of their half-sister Paige. Paige Matthews, was the daughter of Paricia Halliwell, the Charmed Trio’s mother. However, Piper, the closest to Prue, gave Paige a hard time because she did not let go of Prue’s memory. With her grief and anxiety attacks, she became a creature called Fury, a curse that almost made her destroy her own sister. In the end, she did managed to bring her emotions across to the right place Prue’s grave.
Even though blessed with wiccan powers, Piper, Phoebe, and Paige, constantly struggled with different emotions that no spell can totally dispel. But the good things is, as always perceived in the TV series their most trusted power over mind boggling trivialities and blood thirsty enemies are not their wiccan gifts. Their answer is their sisterly bond — which also became their best anxiety relief. Sisterhood, not their inherent powers, was their best anxiety relief and power against all that the underworld can hurl at them.In the end, after years of wiccan supremacy, the Charmed Ones managed to keep their family legacy, which was written in their book, The Book of Shadows.

Phoebe Fischer, however, is a diehard Oilers fan, and was just slightly disappointed when her daughter turned out to start rooting for the Maple Leafs.

— ❥ At five foot four, Raven is still three inches shorter than Cole Caufield, the shortest current player in the NHL. Plenty of her friends say this is proof that her nickname Tiny fits perfectly, but she insists that they’re all just giants.
— ❥ Ever since gaining popularity with NHL fans, Raven has made a habit of making a load of homemade bracelets before every game she reports at and handing them out to female fans beforehand. She wants to help foster a better sense of community for female fans, knowing how much animosity young women can face from male fans when trying to get into a sport.
— ❥ She has also become an outspoken advocate for more inclusivity within the league, as well as queer and disability rights and greater education and support for those with disabilities and mental illnesses. She hasn’t always stayed out of trouble with the NHL bigwigs for some of the statements she’s made, but she’s never backed down and she doesn’t plan on stopping - besides, she has a great group at SportsNet always ready to support her, as well as a pretty good-sized group of tall hockey men who are used to throwing punches willing to fight back against anyone who tries to hurt her.

Out of curiosity, (code: I want to drag someone into alt next gen hyperfixation hell with me and you are like the og alt next gen Charmed blogger, y'know?) do you have any thoughts on what kids of the following pairings would end up like? Piper/Coop, Paige/Andy, Prue/Drake, or Phoebe/Simon Marks? (110% fine if you don't wanna dream up some new kiddos, I'm just currently spinning around in circles yelling about alt next gen potential and it's been a minute since someone forcibly threw an alternative next gen thing at you, I think?)
wait omg awwwww 💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞💕💞 also yayyy fun okay okay
so i got to piper & coop and paige & andy. there's 1k words about it under the cut ❤️❤️❤️ but the long and the short of it is
piper/coop
juliet halliwell (temporal manipulation, beaming, sensing love)
esme halliwell (photokinesis, electrokinesis, pyrokinesis, beaming, sensing love)
venus halliwell (empathy, beaming, sensing love
paige/andy
clementine trudeau (empathy, premonition, orbing, telekinetic orbing)
sienna trudeau (orbing, telekineis, telekinetic orbing, healing)
ruby garcia trudeau (nyehehehehehehe)
piper/coop i think would def have three kids and i feel like would maybe be named after different iconic lovers? like coop is obvi a cupid and piper canonically loves rom coms and i think also romance novels so like. i think maybe in a world where we scrap the richard intro episode which was obvs a romeo and juliet allusion and instead create an episode where the pain shared by romeo juliet and everyone else in their families so on and so forth creates a Curse the lover's curse where whenever a feud akin to that form romeo and juliet are essentially reborn, destined to fall in love, and, ultimately, die (thus triggering the end of the feud). so these two spirits just keep getting born over and over again and they keep kind of unlocking the memories blah blah blah and idk maybe coop finds them bc love is his deal and they all save the day the point is we're naming the baby juliet. why tho? like. if she's really just a one off person we helped. i mean, yes, also, juliet of romeo and juliet, but, still, only a person we met once. so let's say that in this au they were witches. or maybe just juliet was. so she cast magic that caught coop or tco's radar. and idk maybe we're very worried about piper's baby. and there's a side plot about that. something bad has happened / is happening idk. and juliet after breaking the curse is thanking piper. then! we are attacked by piper's b plot! juliet saves piper. uses her final words to thank her bc now the curse is broken and i can finally move on instead of being reborn into this cursed life. also, i'm healing ur baby. or i'm seeing into the future about her or something. then idk she turns into butterflies whoosh magical death. and piper's trying to name her firstborn she's holding her and then a little butterfly lands on the baby's nose and the baby cooes as if in recognition BOOM welcome juliet halliwell. her power's included temporal manipulation (she can slow time down "to slip in between the heartbeats" as we see cupid do in heartbreak city and she can freeze time (kind of) like her mama. she cannot move backwards in time (yet)). she can also beam and sense love. the next daughter will be from the plot from piper's favorite book she read as a child that she and coop will get sucked into for an episode (maybe one where they're experience love troubles) and it will help reconnect piper with the concept of love and the first story that really had her wishing to be in love and will help coop understand piper's point of view. the next daughter will be named esme halliwell, after the name of the main charcter in that story. she has fire/lightning/light powers, fire as displayed by p russell (and phoebe) in the line and lightning by the evil enchantress who i do headcanon as a distant ancestor of theirs bc of the whole. you know. paige. is her. thing. and then light powers we sometimes see them do. idk. she can also beam and sense love. the third daughter is gonna conincide with an astrological episode where some demon is trying to warp some astral aligning for evil but the charmed ones stop them and save the day!! look at how beautiful. what's that one star rising so brightly right there? oh, it's venus. meet venus halliwell is an empath (with the empath extension pack ability to impact other people's moods by touching them / being close enough to them) who through that power also unlocks deflection and mimicry. can also beam and sense love.
paige/andy it's not gonna be as detailed as the pipercoop one lol. [a/n: as it turns out i was lying :3] this will be the base text we're using. first born we're going to do an episode tensions have been building between paige and andy because of paige's issues with motherhood and what it means to be a mom and maybe it's a muses episode or a trapped in a painting episode the point is there's something artsy paige is trapped in and she has to create something to get herself out of there meanwhile andy is on the outside fighting to get her out and realizing that they are always stronger together and their fight is stupid blah blah blah. paige makes. a painting. she has to find The Color that is the key to getting her out. it's the color that she uses painting one of her first moments with andy (a paige/henry knockoff) their first stakeout, which is also somewhat tied to a bet. they've been waiting in the car for hours, it's sunset now and the sky is tinged orange and andy's peeled her some baby oranges bc she's complaining about being hungry so on and so forth. paige is freed. andy sees her painting. and the daughter is named clementine trudeau. empathy, premonitions, orbing, telekinetic orbing (but really only on things in her line of sight. maybe we do a color theme for this one. their next daughter is named sienna trudeau. i can't reasonably tell you why so we'll say she pulled a chris and came back from the future, giving her her name. powers are. telekinesis. orbing. telekinetic orbing. welcome back, chris halliwell. except sienna can also heal. the third daughter will be an adopted witch that paige and andy found when she was young and idk on the run kind of a la tyler michaels. she's maybe seven or so when they find her, clem's maybe three and sienna's one. plotline plotline, we take her in. she becomes a part of the family quickly and clem and sienna view her as her older sister almost immediately lol. meet ruby garcia. first name color last name i'm stealing from jerry garcia bc my parents were just at a grateful dead show or whatever call it an homage (jerry was not there, he is dead. rip.) ruby might add trudeau onto her last name as well. tbd. anyways, as it turns out, she is a demon witch (omg!!) powers are. fireballs energy balls telekinesis and flaming. i am actually going to make her zankou's daughter. just for funsies.
#i'm going to try to do the other two tomorrow!!#piper x coop#paige x andy#charmed#next gen#charmed next generation#💌

With the Professor's help, they discovered the secret way. But waiting for them was the scheming Prock, who would use almost any means to keep them away from his beloved king. I just got an idea for an OUAT AU.
Egon and Cathleen as Charming and Snow, Callie as Emma, Trevor and Phoebe sharing the role of Henry, and Roberta (an OC of mine and Peck's daughter) as Regina.
I just need to figure out if it's a straightfoward AU of the show (i.e. fairytale characters displaced in the real world) or if I mix it with Ghostbusters lore.
And I need to actually write it... after I write all the shit that I'm supposed to write.

A curiosity.
You mentioned your father carefully choosing a name inspired from Greek Mythology for you. A great choice. As you know, names have meaning, especially for us demigods. My father, for example, chose a name inspired by the moon gods Selene, hoping to attract her favour along with Aphrodite’s. He really wished the best for me… And it makes me wonder: did your father have an interest or link to the Gods before meeting Apollo? One that inspired the name he chose for you?
~Silena
[She gives Silena a cup of tea and sits back down on her bed]. In fact, the Hayashi family is full of divine connection... even too much. [She frowned, her eyes turned almost black.. It was creepy].
I am the third demigod in my family, the first two were my great-grandparents, my grandmother's parents and my father's grandparents - the son of the titanide Phoebe and the daughter of the Roman god Cupid... [She closed her eyes].
My great-grandmother was the daughter of love and for the sake of love she gave up her past life, her family, her camp, her divine father, she rejected the past for the sake of my great-grandfather.
He - my great-grandfather - was one of the few demi-titans, Phoebe loved her son and protected him as best she could, not even obeying the laws of Zeus - in her eyes he was an annoying boy whom she tolerated for the sake of her sister.
He could see the future, but not as well as I could, his visions were limited to three years. But his mind was as sharp as a dagger blade made of celestial bronze and brilliant as the stars in the night sky, and the stars themselves, the constellations and the moon itself obeyed his will - too powerful? He was the son of a titanide, there's nothing surprising about that.
My great-grandmother was the most beautiful woman you've ever seen and her voice could charm anyone - she was a living reminder that Cupid was called "the monster that even the gods fear". Too powerful again? The generations of Cupid's children after her were born weak and hardly beautiful enough for the god of love. She took, or rather her father gave her, what should have belonged to the generations after her.
But demigods rarely live long - they died and my grandmother, who was a small child, an infant, was given to the upbringing of her father's mortal brother. He was afraid that she would be the same, but the gods had mercy on my grandmother and she was mortal. She is still living her best life. She still does not know about her origin. And she won't know.
She fell in love with an ordinary mortal and my father was born with his brothers and sisters... they were mortals, except for my father - he was born with a softened, weakened, but still stunning beauty to his grandmother and the mind of his grandfather. That's why he attracted Apollo...
A demigod and a legacy born as a result of this union... I was too powerful and the Moirai, instead of giving me huge weakness, decided to turn me into a tragedy...
From the creator of the character - I'm sorry if it's not good enough, but I really tried.
