Phil: Hogwarts AU

Phil is a Half-Blood wizard that was born on the 31st of July 1995 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 2006, being sorted into Gryffindor House.

He has a Beech wand with a Phoenix Feather core.

His Patronus is non-corporeal.

His favorite subject is Arithmancy and his least favorite subject is Defense Against the Dark Arts.

He was one of the Gryffindor Prefects of his year and later on Head-Boy.

Phil is a very bright, cheerful and outspoken boy. He loves his family very much and gets along with particularly Emma, Sherry, and Carol. He especially loves trains with his dream being to ride one. While Phil is a playful, fun-loving, and carefree young boy who likes to play quidditch and gobstones along with his siblings, he is also extremely observant, responsible, brave, reliable, smart and wise beyond his years. For example, he is one of the highest scoring orphans at Grace Field despite his young age and he is the one who pointed out the Morse codes in the books in the library to Emma. He takes on the leader role among the younger children and cares deeply for them. After the older children escaped, he views it as his responsibility to keep the children age four and under safe. Phil is also highly observant and figured out the truth behind the orphanage simply by studying other characters words and behaviors. However, he said nothing about it in case his hypothesis was wrong. He leads all the children ages four and younger to stay back in the orphanage, while all the children ages five and older make their escape. He is able to hide his personal feelings and true motives very well.

However, Phil starts becoming more mature, lonely and sad after Emma's and the others' escape and his transfer to a different plantation at Grace Field. Although he always keeps up his cheerful personality and a smile on his lips, he is seen breaking down when he is on his own. The guilt of seeing his new siblings being shipped out, knowing the fate that awaits them, but being powerless to stop it takes a great toll on Phil. He becomes rather depressed and guilt-ridden as result of not being able to save them and compares it to how Ray must have felt. Although he misses Emma and the rest of his siblings dearly, he is shown to be very strong, determined and refuses to give up hope. He also becomes protective of his new siblings, and he takes it upon himself to help them.
