just dropped a big update for Iron Company, my big WIP visual novel project. the current demo is the whole first chapter, about 2 hours' worth of story, and i think even in its unfinished state you will have a good time :)

At the climax of a desperate war for farmland, John Sykes and Petra Raskoph fought a duel to the death. Dragged away to safety by their comrades, both of them survived. A year after the end of the war, they meet again by chance; Sykes, directionless, depressed, and running low on cash, and Raskoph with a dangerous but lucrative job offer that neither of them can afford to turn down.

HWU : From Hollywood With Love

Just a question...

So, ummm, was that the reason she was willing to set off an earthquake machine under HWU, which is located on a fault line, killing perhaps the entire student body and faculty.....because Suresh believes women need saving?

I’m sure there’s more to it, but....there was no part in the quest that suggested Suresh thinks women are weak. I was wary at start by the premise for this same reason, female guest speaker talking about women in male dominated careers needs saving by male....but Suresh didn’t seem that way, at least I didn’t think so. He was informed by his bosses that Petra was in trouble and Suresh wanted to save this seemingly innocent life. Side note : If I was Suresh, I’d be questioning this lead. My point...even if that was the case, you’re going to activate a fault line because of one sexist man? You’re obviously not opposed to killing so why not just get rid of him?

I get it, suspense, give players some incentive to buy Suresh and learn more in upcoming quests, but hey....throw us a bone. 

And why did Mike attack anyway? He didn’t need her, in fact she was on his side, was it to just ambush Suresh and get him out of the way? I don’t think he would’ve gotten anywhere if it wasn’t for our MC and their fabulous ID card. If it wasn’t for them, Suresh would still be outside the room waiting for Petra’s lecture to end.

And why get a student involved? WTH? You’re a top secret agent, you telling me you can’t get yourself into a meeting hall undetected. It’s not even like the MC just really wanted to be a spy and tagged along, Suresh literally recruited a innocent civilian in his spy game. Come on, man. Use a disguise, swipe a student’s ID, sneak in through the air vents.
