Doylestown Township, PA – Serious Pedestrian Accident on York Road

Doylestown Township, PA (March 29, 2019) – On Wednesday evening around 7:49 p.m., police responded to a serious pedestrian accident on York Road in Doylestown Township. One person had to be hospitalized due to their injuries.

The accident took place around the area of the Rita’s on York Road. The person has not yet been identified.

Police are not sure what caused the accident between the pedestrian and the driver. The driver stayed at the scene around the area of Edison Furlong Road to cooperate with the Doylestown Township Police.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Since then, no other information has been released, but the investigation continues.
