So I am 20 something hours into my first playthrough of Persona 3 Portable via the FemC route and I think the premise of this game and this cast is resonating with me a bit more than Persona 5 did.
TBH I have only ever played Persona 5's spin off games (Strikers and Persona Q2 New Cinema Labyrinth) and know Persona 5's story from the anime series & fanfic. Now that I really think about it, I liked the gameplay of both games more so than the main characters. If there was a character I liked, it was a one-off character like the writer guy from Strikers or Hikari from Persona Q2.
With Persona 3 Portable, I immediately latched onto Yukari, grew to sympathize with Junpei, and respected Fuuka's compassion. I also decided to play FemC's route first, b/c of how she was written in Persona Q2 as someone uncertain of her role in the story after being seperated from her universe's team and meeting the MaleC's team and MaleC. What moved me is that MaleC's team realizes this & Yukari, Junpei, Akikiho get to know FemC to help her feel welcome. They even give her a gift, which allows FemC to do a special team attack with them.
In Persona 3 Portable, FemC still doesn't know what her role is & is on her own after experiencing a family tragedy. She just goes along with joining SEES and fighting Shadows b/c she's thrust into things and is immune to the usual effects of the Midnight Hour. And meanwhile, people around her are getting Apathy Syndrome and you realize fighting Shadows with Personas helps prevent that. And you realize that most, if not all your teammates are as lost as you, but keep fighting too.
TL;DR Persona 3 Portable & FemC's route feels like an elaborate metaphor for finding connection with others while fighting depression and uncertainty and it suits where I am personally right now.

20. A boss you think is really cool
Hmmmm, I think a lot of bosses from the azure striker gunvolt series are cool as hell. I especially love Blade from luminous avenger ix 1 and Mother Computer from luminous avenger ix 2. Blade just looks cool as hell zipping about with a lightning sword whip and i am Insane about Mother Computer. the references baked into her design, her battle theme being a remix of Igniter, the anthem melody for copen from asgv2 and laix1 - tis perfect. the first phase fight against possessed kohaku was also my favorite boss in the game to learn, and the only one i could beat without taking damage. the second phase is MUCH trickier, but also fun, even if i had to rely on the game's easy mode infinite healing.
i also adore the final boss of kh3, as mentioned in a previous ask. stunning cinematography. i don't remember if i enjoyed the gameplay of it as much though. i definetly hated the phase of the fight where goat xehanort floated underwater and you had to air step toward him.
24. A game with a cool art style
A lot of games have great art styles! People are so creative! But i'm gonna give it to Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. The chibi artstyle is adorable. The UI retains much of the slick p5 feel with a cinema theme. The enemy designs are fun, particularly the bosses, who are wild mish-mashes of persona enemies. The first one is Kamoshida as superman, the second is yosuke as a dinosaur. Phenomenal. One of the mini-bosses is a giant chicken.
The original character designs are also adorable, I love Hikari and Nagi, and the animated cutscenes like the musical opening are gorgeous. All around, a lovely game!

A part of me do wish that those that have made Hikari‘s life missables have some from of come upping in the end.
Like the Teacher got fired from her jobs after the staff find out that she put the blame on Hikari for her own misdeed. Saying that she not fit to trach childing if she mistreated them.
Or that her former friend got even worst bullied do the fact they abandoned Hikari. Even mocking ask if they gonna vote out another one, saying they feel sorry for Hikari being kick out.
Or that her father give a lecture over his sibling (step-sibling or not) saying that he fully supported her dream and that they have no right to step on her dream of being a movie director.

Enlil headcannon
In her own warped way, Enlil actually thinks of Hikari as a friend. She was the people she had the most investment in out of everyone else in the theater. Unfortunately, because of her makeup as a collective being, she could not fathom her method of "helping" people as wrong. Also, despite looking the contrary, she is really insecure about Hikari's disapproval. A good thing to note is that while she is dismissive about the other's arguments against her ideals (and by extension her very existence), she only gets visibly distraught when Hikari joins in with them. It is part of what gets her to change into her final form. Her perceived "affection" towards Hikari is also the main reason why she DOESN'T attack her in the final battle. Enlil already Thanos snapped the three wildcards quite effortlessly, and Hikari has only 15 hp. If Enlil wanted to erase Hikari and be done with it, she could have. But instead she seems to treat her with pity, even somberly saying her name to herself when she's wasting her voice on what she perceived as a hopeless effort. Unlike Yaldabaoth's relationship with Ren, Enlil seemed to be genuinely fond of Hikari, in her own twisted way. Like Izanami, Enlil genuinely thinks placing people into theaters full of depressing movies is helping them cope. She can't comprehend any other solution because of her literally being a negative aspect. Her transforming back into her Nagi form before fading back into the collective unconscious was a last ditch effort for to be remembered fondly in Hikari's eyes, as the "person" she knew her as for the most time.

3-7-24 for the videogame ask game!💖
3. I honestly think "Best" is subjective depending on the player and type of game. I think the best dungeon crawler game I've played on 3DS is Persona Q2 New Cinema Labyrinth. It was a fun introduction to the Persona franchise & I really related to the character Hikari, to the point where I was inspired to write a poem after seeing a Persona 4 anime episode.
7. A game I will never forget is Chicory A Colorful Tale. It had such a wonderful premise and beautiful story about the self doubt & mental health issues that artists have. I loved coloring a black & white world with a magic paintbrush and the soundtrack was great too.
24. I think I'm in the middle of casual & hardcore gamer because between work and caregiving, I get most of my best gaming done on my days off. On my work days, I might play a mobile game or an hour of a light game, if I play at all. But I also have a passion for JRPGS and I love immersing myself in them on my days off.
