my human perry stuff ig

-aboriginal australian. specifically wiradjuri.

-starting off w how he's connected to the flynn-fletchers: he is ferb's bio mom's lil brother.

- cover story is...whatever is plot convenient. but im fond of insurance agent bc of doof 101

-half white australian ig but he has little contact w that side of his family bc his mom cut contact before he was born. (they SUCK!!!)

-orphan. parents died when perry was 3 in a car crash & was found w a family of platypuses by his sister

-34 (born in 1973 bc the show takes place in the summer of 07 to me)

-trans man (realized he was trans when he was 11-13) (just like me fr)

-yes that means his chosen name is bartholomew (perry for short.) lets all laugh at him!!!!

-selectively mute. nearly completely mute but does speak very veryyy occasionally.

ok now time for his backstory:

-perrys sister is 11 years older than him and died soon after ferb was born (who i will call E bc i can't come up w a name for her and mammalofaction's human perry au did smth to my brain)

-her death is mystery...to me. i have no idea how she died.

-they enter an OWCA orphanage nd they (well...just E at first. bc perrys a toddler lol) rly show promise. shes officially scouted when shes 15. (perry is scouted when hes 10)

-(dont. ask abt the remaining family lets just say theyre too far away or broke to take in kids. its a plot device)

-owca not a fun place to grow up. really rough in general esp once youve been scouted to work as an agent. does not help that there are adults there that enjoy the power they wield.

-when E is 18 she enters uni. owca helps her out. when shes 19 shes sent to the owca's uk division. does law foundation then gets a law degree.

-when shes 25 shes finally able to get guardianship of perry.

-perry. really struggles here. hes traumatized by his time alone in owca. he was already selectively mute but yeah being traumatized doesnt Help. at this point he's still in owca schooling just now allowed to live w E bc she's an agent & hes skipping classes flunking etc. it takes a while for him to rly put effort back into living.

-on a more positive note perry wasnt completely alone in australian owca. he was friends w future agent kangaroo. he had a brief crush on him around the time perry realizes he's trans so theres a real (do i want to be him or do i want him)

-her & lawrence begin dating when shes 28 and they marry when shes 32. theyd been friends since she was 24 tho

-they have ferb 3 years later. she dies soon after.

-perry moves in lawrence and helps take care of ferb. lawrence somehow someway makes his way to america meets linda falls in love etc. i think perry & ferb go back in forth btwn the us & the uk.

-eventually obv lawrence & linda move in & marry. perry stays in the uk.

-he gets relocated to the us at some point & law+lin are like hey you should stay with us.

-in 2001 before 9/11 (this is for me ok let me get a few jokes in im aware they only had him for 5 yrs but he is 6 as a platypus) perry moves to the us. lives by himself in america for a year before moving in w the flynn-fletchers. (ferb obv knows perry but so do phin & candace. just to a lesser extent.)

-beyond that is very flexible. perry cld have only known doof since the beginning of the summer or since the moment he arrived in america. doesnt rly matter lol but if i did have to give a time id say theyd been nemeses for 3 years.

Do you have irl friends in France that are queer/comfortable w the fluidity of gender/sexuality? I live in Canada where it's uh kinda more ok but like tuition is expensive like I'm thinking of going to France for uni but I'm not sure how me being trans will go over obv trans/queer ppl are everywhere but what's the general idea like is it hard to find likeminded people (not just like in terms of gender/sexuality but like politics n shit) also like how does one find likeminded people?

i do! i’m pretty loudly queer as are the other kids in my friend circle, and our mcstraighties are 100% cool about it (as they should be). 

i think with queerphobia and friend circles it’s really about the person themselves, if someone’s a piece of shit they’re gonna be a piece of shit whether it’s a student or a teacher or someone in france or canada. in that vein, finding likeminded people is less of actually finding them and more of just starting regular friendships and examining world views? i’ve never been uncomfortable with my sexuality beyond the annoyance of the occasional homophobic family discussion, which in turn leads to me being really chill about actually coming out to people (ie i don’t bother to do it). i’m just like, oh look, that girl’s hot, and a friend who might not have known so far that i’m bi is now aware, u feel me?**

ofc i’ve gotten into arguments abt that shit with assholes but it’s just the same as other forms of bigotry. you don’t rlly know what insidious forms of prejudice ppl can come up with until it actually comes up in conversation - unless you present very strongly which some of my friends do! (incidentally one of my superbutch friends was cheerfully having this entire discussion with my very straight bf a couple of days ago, which is my point i guess)

all this being said, i can’t speak for all of france but at least strassy b is super progressive and takes no one’s phobic bullshit. we got our chill LGBT+ bars (one of them is literally two buildings away from me, like if i stick my head out of our apartment entrance i can see it) and our discussions and film festivals, it’s great. i’m not involved in the scene but i’m still pretty aware of it, and it’s cool. if you’re serious about coming to france you might wanna look at bigger student towns where the statistical probability of you finding likeminded ppl is higher and on a more general scale the political bullshit is minimal. by which i mean that you won’t have your neo-nazis but be prepared for a whole other bunch of progressive subdivisions - at least that’s how it is in stras. our students are wildly invested in politics and progress, which is a thrilling environment to be a part of, but can also lead to trouble in the quotidian. 

**my 20th birthday i went to one of stras’ biggest clubs and ended up (piss drunk of course) making out with this girl against one of the dancing poles on the counter in front of 200 people. that’s very definitely how i came out to my friends, who filmed me, sent the link to that one katy perry song in the gc the next morning, and, nearly two years later, still imitate what my drunk self did when i realised that i wasn’t sure if my friends were okay with me being bi or not. which is, i tottered over to them in my heels, crouched down on the counter, and yelled, “EXCUSEZ-MOI, EST-CE QUE C’EST GRAVE SI JE SUIS BISEXUELLE ?”

dakota: on t. obv. i believe in dakota who doesn't get top or bottom surgery. (DOES get a hysterectomy at some point tho when hes older) idk if its just bc hes from the future and they dc or bc he dgaf. anyway he 100% lets his shit #hang. he walks around w no shirt on. he realized he was trans in his later teen years.

perry: well. platypus. so.... (har har har ill do human perry)

edit: actually no fuck it. hes intersex but has mostly "female" characteristics so also tmasc. if not intersex than he has false spurs either owca made to protect him or pnf made bc theyre badass nd they protect him.

doof: ive become more and more fond of this hc. and while its not generally what i engage in I HAVE THOUGHTS. he realized as a child. like straight up itty bitty kid going IM A BOY. hes real. he either 1. swapinator'd himself. 2. if he got surgery, he got top AND bottom. hes a phallo king. he used skin from his arm and now thats all thats left of his organic arms.

human perry: also on t. realized when he was a pre-teen (just like me fr). got top surgery. no bottom surgery. (aka what i want) if he got bottom itd be metoidioplasty (also gets a hysterectomy at some point)

has pcos. probably intersex too in the same way regular perry is.
