Muslin dress with embroidered ruffles. Gaze cashmere scarf. Yellow gloves and black shoes. Fig. 2: Mesh hat decorated with 'rouleaux' of satin, lilacs and primroses. Spencer made of velvet, decorated with gold-colored braid. Dress of cotton percale (percale) with 'remplis' and strips of muslin. White gloves. Lilac shoes. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published in Frankfurt as a copy of the French edition by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.

i have a massive issue with sheet textures. the only ones ive ever found to be good was a twin xl set i got from ikea in 2015 to prepare for college and a potter barn teen set i begged my parents to buy me in 2009

talking abt t with my parents is very “this is serious we have to be serious about this >:^(” and i’m like, i mean yeah, yeah it is a serious thing, it’s a big thing to be doing, but also. on the daily, being on t has been like. i stare myself down every day like my reflection’s a spot-the-difference. usually nothing’s different, but sometimes i notice something tiny and i’m like. heehee :). and then i keep doing laundry

Girl with a hat of 'gros de Naples' on her head. She wears a dress with short puffed sleeves and long trousers (bloomers) made of cotton percale. Scarf with fringes at the ends, tied crosswise around the body at the center front. Boots on the feet. In the hands a flower branch and a basket filled with the same flowers. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839.

I was more like this at age 20; I still had the health and energy to go shopping and make crafts to enhance my living space. By 30, health issues were rapidly approaching the point where I wasn't going to have the ability to care about stuff like that anymore.

I'm turning 30 this month, and for some reason have become suddenly interested in material possessions. like what if,,,,,,,,my couch was nice. what if my sheets were nice. is this what happens to you??
