“ ‘The World. The Flesh. The Devil’ deals a lot with a certain inner suicide that is required in order to gain the third sight, in order to walk on this path […] It’s a very vulnerable, but it’s a very strong thing that album…It’s a naked boy with an axe”
-Pelle Åhman, interview on the Age of Metal, 2012

PÅGÅ - The Evil Year - stylistically all over the place; opening song could pass for a long-lost 23 Skidoo track (Svart Records)
“Out of a great lust to encounter the unknown and to explore the boundless in us this record/work came about, in the hands of The High Spirit Rebel. We wish this may serve as great entertainment, a bad enemy, an instrument and a match. Enter! Step in!" Outlandish pop and psychedelic noir rock from Sweden's Åhman brothers, Pelle and Gottfrid (ex vocalist and bassist from In Solitude). Hand-picked by Mat Kvohst McNerney (Hexvessel, Beastmilk, Grave Pleasures) for his Secret Trees imprint via Svart. Kvohst describes PÅGÅ as “Post-Punk freakery, like Birthday Party era Cave, avant-garde Bowie and the darkness of Coil with unique artistic flair that's in a world of its own.”

"Playing live is where the inner temple is teared down and rebuilt, where the bonefields of the soul are harvested and where the poison of the hidden fruits within completely takes over. Released in 2010 Diamonds was Enforcers second Full-Length Album. At just shy of the 40 minute mark, the longest songs on the album being Katana and Walk with Me at about 6 minutes. The Namesake of the album, Diamonds, is an instrumental song at about three and a half minutes.
Line up for this album is as follows;
Olof Wikstrand - Vocals
Adam Zaars - Guitars
Joseph Tholl - Guitars
Tobias Lindkvist - Bass
Jonas Wikstrand - Drums
Album artwork layout was done by Adam as was most of Enforcers artwork, done by either Adam Zaars or Jonathan Hultén . Even though Adam was only in Enforcer until 2011 , it warms my heart that all the boys remain long time friends and have continued to do various projects for each other.
Now lets talk about that artwork and layout. There is a reason why my boy is so Amazing. Adam is a true creative soul and I love how this album juxtaposes together so well. I feel very Kill Bill/ comic book vibes here and it absolutely kills it. There is a reason why this album is hard to find.
For anyone wondering about Enforcer’s sound, I would say that vocally, to me I hear similar styles as Pelle Åhman of In Solitude, with that classic sort of Heavy Metal/ Speed Metal vibe. To me, it’s the kind of metal that makes you nostalgic, if that makes sense.
The crem de la creme is the limited pressing, split color vinyl itself. It fits so well with the artwork of the album, I’m so excited to add this beautiful Lp to my collection, you better believe I will be purchasing all of Enforcers Lp’s.

“There’s a pattern in nature that resonates deeply with me and changes me. It’s a transformative force. There’s also the solitude. I appreciate and need it. I think everyone does.”
