ThunderClan Allegiances + Character Description

These character descriptions I tried to keep as short as possible in order to make room for more things to be revealed once I make individual posts for each cat.

ThunderClan

Leader: Morningstar- brown and ginger tortoiseshell she-cat with green eyes

(Morningstar is the current leader of ThunderClan and was the successor of Lynxstar after her death. She was born to warriors Emberfang and Wrenflight alongside her littermates Poppyfern and Branchpaw. Shorty after she became an apprentice her father and brother were killed in a battle against WindClan. The greif caused her mother so much anguish that she retired early and later died of greencough that same year. Morningheart became mates with Firestrike and had three kits, Sandstone, Maplebriar, and Redfrost. After her kits were apprenticed she was made Lynxstar’s very first deputy after she had succeeded the previous leader, Tinystar. Lynxstar was viewed as a battle-hungry leader and started unneccesary wars with all the clans and thus a group of warriors planned to take her down and remove hera ThunderClan’s leader. Morningheart, being deputy had learned from Lynxstar that StarClan dissaproved of her being leader and refused to give her nine lives. After learning of this as well as the group of warriors who planned to fight against her, Morningheart killed Lynxstar herself in order to stop any unneccesary wars from continuing. Morningstar was granted her nine lives from StarClan and has been ThunderClan’s leader ever since.

She’s a rather peaceful leader however she won’t hesitate to fight if she see’s it reasonable. Morningstar is a caring cat and is known for putting a lot of her attention on apprentices as she was only able to take one before becoming leader and knows it’s likely she won’t be able to take another. She’s welcoming and friendly however she is known as being ThunderClan’s top warriors)

Deputy: Ridgefang- large and muscular gray tabby tom with blue eyes; Apprentice, Pinepaw

(Ridgefang is ThunderClan’s current deputy and was Morningstar’s first after she became leader. He was born to Graystorm and Nightsong alongside his littermates Spiderfang and Vixenleap. When he started his apprenticeship he known by all the apprentices and mentors as being feirce and headstrong (which didn’t help with a cat named Badgerleap being his mentor). He was made a warrior and durring his first battle he was injured however he recovered and took this failure as a sign to relax his personality and calm down when it came to fighting. He took Shallowstream as his mate and she is curently in the nursery with his two kits, Berrykit and Blizzardkit. With the birth of his kits he realized how important kits are to the clans and because of this revalation he started to appreciate his apprentice, Pinepaw more)

Medicine Cat: Crowfrost- black and white tom with amber eyes; Apprentice, Specklepaw

(Crowfrost is ThunderClan’s current medicine cat and is Pebbleleaf’s successor. He was born to warriors Starlingflight and Ravensnow. His mother, Starlingflight was an oriental shorthair kittypet who joined the clans. Like his littermates (Tinystar, Nightsong, and Badgerleap) he gained some traits of his mother’s breed though he looks the most like her. He became a medicine cat apprentice and was kept one long after his littermates became warriors. Out of frustration, he snapped at his mentor for not making him a full medicine cat and she followed his request by giving him his name at the next medicine cat meeting. This didn’t help Crowfrost’s frustraton though, and out of fear he was unable to apologize to his mentor before she tragically died. After her death, he continued to do his duties however now he did them all for Pebbleleaf. He wanted Pebbleleaf to see the things he had acomplished and be proud of him. Now he has his apprentice, Specklepaw and though things can be difficult with his short temper he tries hard to be as great a mentor as Pebbleleaf was.)

Warriors:

Graystorm- gray tabby tom with blue eyes

(Graystorm is the second oldest warrior in the clan. He’s brothers to Stormrush and is known as one of ThunderClan’s most dependable warriors. He’s incredubly wise and many cats wonder as to why he was never chosen to become deputy and when asked about it he just shruggs it off, being a warrior is all he needs. When things go wrong however and ThunderClan is in need of a temporary deputy the whole clan knows where to turn their gaze to. Graystorm is incredibly proud of his son Ridgefang for becoming a deputy and he hopes that his son can grow into a great leader for ThunderClan someday.

Stormrush- gray and white tabby tom with green eyes and a missing ear; Apprentice, Blackpaw

(Stormrush is Graystorm’s brother and one of ThunderClan’s senior warriors. He’s much more of a goofball than his brother and is one of the most skilled hunters in the clan (though his fighting skills aren’t too shabby either). Most cats know him as the guy who’s friends with everybody. He’s got a large friend group of cats from other clans and doesn’t see why many frown upon making friends from outside their borders.)

Palefur- small cream tabby she-cat with green eyes

(Palefur is one of ThunderClan’s senior warriors. When she was just an apprentice she lost her tail in a fox attack and many cats in ThunderClan told her that she wouldn’t be able to become a warrior after this however thanks to help from the medicine cat, Pebbleleaf she was able to overcome this. When she was a warrior she became mates with a tom named Duststorm and had a single kit named Shallowstream. Shortly after their kit was born, Duststorm was killed. Time passes and she takes Stormrush as her mate and they had two kits, Appleheart and Cinderwing)

Coppershine- dappled golden brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes

(Coppershine was the mate to the former leader of ThunderClan, Tinystar. She’s the mother to four kits, those being Firestrike, Eaglescar, Whitefire, and former leader Lynxstar however she does have another kit. Her mate wasn’t actually Tinystar and was in fact a warrior named Thunderfoot. When Thunderfoot died, she was unable to tell him she was expecting his kits and expected to raise her children alone. However, one day after her kits were born Tinystar brings her a fifth kit and he tells her that he’s the father and that the mother is RiverClan leader Sunstar. Coppershine, being a close friend to Tinystar takes in the half-clan kit and promised to never tell the clans.)

Leapordbreeze- dappled golden brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes

(Leapordbreeze is Coppershine’s lighthearted sister. She’s known as being a dependible cat in the clan and is ThunderClan’s certified “patrol gal”. She’s incredibly high energy and can be a lot to handle and thus she’s only had a couple of apprentices because of how energetic she can be.)

Sprucethorn- brown tabby tom with green eyes

(Sprucethorn to put it simply is the clan’s unnoficial “dad”. He hangs around the nursery a whole lot and loves to help out by bringing the kits little things to play with from outside the camp. He’s also the mate to Robinflower and is the father to Brindlewing, Blackpaw, and Specklepaw. He’s so proud of his daughter for becoming a medicine cat and he spends a lot of his time checking in on her and seeing if Specklepaw or Crowfrost need any herbs.)

Robinflower- dark brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes

(Robinflower is Sprucethorn’s mate and the mother to Brindlewing, Specklepaw, and Blackpaw. It’s clear to most of the clan that she is rather unskilled when it comes to fighting however there is not another cat in all the clans who is as good as her when it comes to hunting. She’s often acompanying Leapordbreeze on hunting patrols and the two have become good friends because of how often they work together. Though she’s rarely ever on the battlefield you can be certain that she’ll be fighting alongside her mate and Leapordbreeze.)

Vixenleap- black she-cat with piercing amber eyes

(Vixenleap is the daughter of Nightsong and Graystorm and is Spiderfang’s sister. She’s considerably calmer (and more mature) than her brothers. Many in the clan expect her to take after her brother and become deputy someday with how well she’s been shown to handle intense situations. Though she thinks her future as deputy is unlikely she’s willing to help out her clan as best she can regardless. Aside from this, it’s been shown that she’s not the best when it comes to apprentices. She has little to no patience for training and after she completed her training of Sandstone she requested to never have to train an apprentice again out of pure exhaustion.)

Spiderfang- slender black furred tom with piercing amber eyes

(Spiderfang is the son of Nightsong and Graystorm. Short tempered and grumpy, many cats avoid Spiderfang as he’s very tempermental. Regardless of this, he’s incredibly skilled in fighting although he’s overly keen to show off. He’s covered in scars from his various fights though most are from him picking fights with foxes and badgers. Though fight happy he’s a responsible warrior and many admire him for his “lack of fear”)

Firestrike- ginger tabby tom with amber eyes

(Firestrike is Morningstar’s dependable (and lighthearted) mate. After Morningstar’s mother, father, and brother died, Firestrike was there through it all and because of this they quickly became mates. He’s incredibly proud of how far his mate and kits and absolutely adores sitting and hearing about their days. Even amongst the other clans, Firestrike is well liked and he will typically sit with Stormrush at gatherings and talk and talk with him and his friends from other clans.)

Eaglescar- large ginger and white tabby tom with one green eye

(Eaglescar is the son of Coppershine and Thunderfoot and the littermate to Firestrike, Whitefire, and Lynxstar. He’s easily one of ThunderClan’s strongest warriors and is one of the most respected even in the other clans. When he was just an apprentice, a badger attacked a young RiverClan apprentice named Squirrelpaw on the night of the gathering and he was able to fight it off to protect him. Squirrelpaw was completely uninjured however young Eaglepaw was left with a large scar and a blind eye. As a recognition of his bravery and compassion for the RiverClan apprentice awarded him with the name Eaglescar. Ironically the apprentice he saved was Dapplemoons litttermate, Squirrelleap! Though he was unaware of this at the time.)

Whitefire- white she-cat with ginger splotches and amber eyes

(Whitefire is considered to be ThunderClan’s quietest warrior. She rarely has any words to say and will only ever speak when she’s spoken to directly. Regardless of how quiet and shy she is Whitefire carries out her duties without fail. It does upset her a little how some cats forget she’s there because of how quiet she is though)

Dapplemoon- pretty dark tortoiseshell she-cat with pale amber eyes; Apprentice, Finchpaw

(Dapplemoon is secretly the daughter of former ThunderClan leader Tinystar and former RiverClan leader Sunstar, though she was raised by Coppershine. Her parents fell in love and when she and her littermates were born Tinystar kept a single kit to raise in ThunderClan. She’s fully aware of who her parents are and is even close with her RiverClan littermates, those being Squirrelleap and Pikestar, RiverClan’s current leader. She won’t tell cats about her biological family on a whim though there are a couple cats in the clan who’ve been made aware.)

Mistlefang- blind brown tabby tom with blue eyes

(Mistlefang is the the son of Robinflower and Sprucethrorn and the mate to Dapplemoon. He was born blind however it was shown early on when he was a kit that he was perfectly capable of becoming a warrior. He became Eaglescar’s apprentice not too long after he became a warrior but the reasoning for it was clear. Because of Eaglescar being half-blind it helped for him to mentor Mistlepaw. Because of his blindness his sense of smell is increased and thus he’s often found on border patrols, sniffing out the borders to make sure no one has tresspassed on their territory. He and Dapplemoon became mates not to long ago and the clan can tell that they have a long future together)

Brindlewing- brown tabby she-cat with green eyes

(Brindlewing is the daughter of Robinflower and Sprucethorn. From an early age it was clear to her parents and the rest of the clan that she would take after her mother. When it comes to her warrior duties she completes her tasks without fail, but if you asked her if she would rather be out fighting the other clans or in the nursery she would go to the nursery 100% of the time. She recently had her first kit with Appleheart and the two are estatic to see their daughter, Finchpaw grow up into a fine warrior)

Cinderwing- gray tabby tom with blue eyes

(Cinderwing is the son of Palefur and Stormrush and when he meets other cats, that piece of information is incredibly clear to them. He greatly takes after his father’s goofball personality as well as his ability to easily make friends. He’s so much like his father that many cats will mistake him for Stormrush. This got to the point that Firestrike and Eaglescar played a prank on him where everytime they saw him they would call him Stormrush and pretend that they just mistook him for his father. It took Cinderwing an entire year to figure out the two brothers were pranking him)

Appleheart- cream tabby tom with green eyes

(Appleheart is the son of Palefur and Stormrush. Compared to his brother he’s much more calm and mellow personality wise but he definitely took after his father still, just less so. It was Appleheart who told Firestrike and Eaglescar the idea to prank his brother and while they went on with mistaking Cinderwing for his father, Appleheart reassured his brother from behind the scenes that he just looks a whole lot like his father. He’s been the one behind many of ThunderClan’s pranks, such as the time that he hid outside of the camp and kicked snow at anyone who came out as an apprentice. Morningstar didn’t think it was very funny after half the clan complained)

Sandstone- pale ginger tabby cat with green eyes

(Sandstone is one of Morningstar and Firestrike’s kits and is the oldest of their siblings. Sandstone is the most respected among their siblings for their maturity though they can be rather blunt and rude at times. They’re the most involved in plan politics and requests to be invited to every gathering so they can examine and watch the other clan cats to find any weakness they may have, though Sandstone’s mother sees this to be a bit too much and unneccesary.)

Redfrost- dark ginger she-cat with piercing blue eyes

(Redfrost is the most agressive and battle-hungry of her littermates. No one is exactly sure where this brutal personality came from but it she’s just always been like this. Redfrost has a large distain for the rest of the clans and sees them as threats to ThunderClan. Many times when on patrol she’s started fights with ShadowClan and WindClan patrols so for now she’s off border patrol duty and has been stuck on hunting parties to be watched over by Leapordbreeze and Robinflower)

Maplebriar- fluffy tortoiseshell she-cat with amber eyes

(Maplebriar’s the most upbeat and positvive of her siblings and the entire clans seems to adore her, though she’s not the brightest crayon in the box. Compared to her siblings and her clanmates she’s not the most skilled but when it comes to talking to her you’re certain to become close friends almost immediately. Some cats expect her to someday take on a permanant nursery queen position in the clan as she’s been seen hanging around the kits more and more often lately)

Apprentices:

Pinepaw- reddish brown she-cat with green eyes

(Pinepaw is ThunderClan’s oldest and most dedicated apprentice. She’s fierce and determined and will rarely ever crack a smile. All she wants in life is to become a warrior and follow the warrior code. The other apprentices appreciate her company but joke around with how stern and serious she is. However, many warriors in ThunderClan give her uneasy looks because of her past)

Finchpaw- cream tabby she-cat with green eyes

(Finchpaw is the daughter of Bindlewing and Appleheart and their first and only kit. She’s a bright and bubbly apprentice who’s always ready to take on the world. She’s energetic and loves meeting new people. She and Blackpaw are the bestest of friends and they go everywhere together. Her parents are relieved at how close friends they are as Blackpaw’s always around to keep her in check)

Specklepaw- brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes

(Specklepaw is ThunderClan’s current medicine cat apprentice and Crowfrost’s second after his first apprentice, Graypaw died before he could become a full medicine cat. With Crowfrost’s age she knows that she will be the one to take his place as medicine cat someday though she’s anxious to do so as Crowfrost’s been medicine cat for so long. She feels seperated from the other apprentices as a medicine cat apprentice and feels as though she’s not as included in clan life as they are)

Blackpaw- brown tabby tom with amber eyes

(Blackpaw is Specklepaw’s brother and the son of Bindlewing and Appleheart. He’s dependable and a very calm tom-cat personality wise. His mentor, Stormrush has tried time and time again to get him to lighten up and be less focused on work but he refuses. Alongside Pinepaw they’ve shown the most progress on their warrior training and many note how well they seem to work alongside each other.)

Queens:

Shallowstream- silver tabby she-cat with yellow eyes

Mother to Blizzardkit and Berrykit

(Shallowstream is the mate of Ridgefang and is the daughter of a deceased ThunderClan she-cat named Duststorm. When she was born, she was the only kit in the nursery for quite a while until Ridgefang and his littermates were born. She and Vixenleap got along the best and she just couldn’t understand why Ridgefang would play so aggressively. As she grew up and Ridgefang matured she realized how much she liked him and they became mates. She’s perfectly content in the nursery and is anxious to return to the warriors den after her kits are apprenticed as she enjoys being a queen)

Poppyfern- brown and ginger tortoiseshell she-cat with green eyes; mother to Redkit

(Poppyfern is Eaglescar’s mate as well as Morningstar’s sister. Growing up together Poppyfern always knew in the back of her mind that her sister would do great things but it always made her self consious. She’s secretly incredibly jealous of her sister and her acomplishments to the point that many cats in the clan have started to notice, including her sister. It made things worse when her first litter of kits were born and there was only a single survivor while her sister’s kits were strong and healthy. She knows her jealousy is unfounded but she just can’t seem to get over it)

Nightsong- long-legged black and white she-cat with amber eyes; Expecting Graystorm's kits

(Nightsong is ThunderClan’s oldest warrior. She’s Crowfrost’s littermate and is mates with Graystorm. Though she’s nearing her time in the elders den, she’s still a prominent member in the clan and decided she wanted kits one more time before she goes off to become an elder. As of now, she’s the only queen in the nursery who’s still expecting kits. Her older son, Ridgefang teases her on how his kits will be older than his soon-to-be-born siblings.)

Kits:

Blizzardkit- silver tabby tom with blue eyes

(Blizzardkit is the firstborn son of Shallowstream and Ridgefang. He’s a big kit for his age and wants to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a deputy too. Many of the older cats of ThunderClan realized quickly how similar he and his father were and hope that once he’s apprenticed he’s given to one of the younger warriors to handle)

Berrykit- gray tabby she-cat with yellow eyes

(Unlike her brother, Berrykit is more lighthearted and relaxed personilty wise. She’s kind and friendly, but she’s no-where near a pushover thanks to her father. Morningstar’s been eyeing her to possibly apprentice herself but each time she thinks of it she pushes the thought from her mind so she can focus on being a leader)

Redkit- tiny ginger tabby tom with green eyes

(Redkit is the only surviving kit born to Poppyfern and Eaglescar. He and his two sisters (Amberkit and Softkit) were born weakened and he was the only one to survive. Regardless of his sad beginings, he’s gotten a bit stronger however it’s clear that he won’t be the biggest cat in the clan once he’s a warrior. Since he’s the only other tom-cat in the nursery, Blizzardkit pushes him around a bit though he doesn’t mind it as he thinks that it’ll make him bigger and stronger. He and Blizzardkit are best friends and he even says that once Blizzardkit becomes leader someday Redkit can be his deputy! Though it’s unlikely this will ever happen)
