Hi, so I’m really freaking out, i might be homeless soon

I hate to do this, but I really have no where to turn that doesn’t put me in harm’s way.

My student loans are something I had to stop paying because of my unemployment back in January, and I haven’t quite recovered from being jobless for about 2 months yet, so the debt is piling up.

They’ve threatened with collections, since they can withhold my entire salary (which is $360 usd per month!) because of how high the debt is.

I was able to ask them for a payment agreement, which would make the monthly payment a lot easier for me (since I support myself and my gf with my salary, since she’s a full-time student), but they’ve asked me for an initial payment of $680 usd for the payment agreement to start (something which, I can’t afford).

They’ve asked me to normalize the account, and gave me a due date of May 31st, which is ~insane~ for the pending balance amount I have. I’ve pleaded my case, and they told me that’s the best they can do. I’d be able to pay $50 usd from my next paycheck, so I’d just need the rest, it’s just an unmanageable amount and i genuinely don’t have anywhere else i can gather money from.

So please, if you’d like to help out a queer latinx and their trans gf not become homeless, I’d really, greatly appreciate it. (I can draw something for you if you donate, I’m also up for selling n/s/f/w material)

my mum could really use £30-40 for groceries. We've spent a lot of money fixing stuff this month like replacement pipes and central heating (that really should be our landlord's responsibility..). She only has £150 left but we've still got bills to pay later this month so not much to spend on food and other necessities. Universal credit + her wage doesn't get paid until the end of the month (something is coming next week too but idr) 🥲

Usually we ask family and close friends for borrowing money but no one has been able to lend any aaa

i signed up at the local youth employment center to get help with the whole job thing (surprisingly, they accept anyone under 35!!) and my counselor is teaching me how to write a cover letter

and i'm a tad apprehensive about the fact that the draft i sent her to evaluate is uhh full of lies lol. like i hope she doesn't tell me to stop lying; that would be entirely unhelpful

i've done commissions in the past for other fandoms and i've been wanting to start doing them again for awhile now. (also considering i've racked up about $1000 in medical bills in the last few months well. there's no time like the present!)

The audience learn in a single scene that gold coins are the criminals' currency, dinner reservation is code for body cleanup, John is fucking loaded, and the criminal society is highly sophisticated and terrifyingly efficient

Meanwhile, Lien are designed to look and sound like credit cards, have different colors based on value like Canadian bills, and are treated like both on the rare occasion money actually comes up

That Time Of The Month usually refers to menstruation but for me it's the day(s) my mom decides to tackle the bills in the most passive-aggressively confrontational way and my dad decides to be the most inefficient whiny martyr on earth who acts like we're oppressing him by asking questions about what charges are bc he doesn't tell anyone anything even tho he is not the one doing the bills every month.
