PLEASE PLEASE PLEAS- make a part 2 for sukuna x hindu bride/wife btw if it isnt obvious i'm in love with ur writing style please like make it as long as you want (but like longer than part 1) srry if this is too much to ask but damn i loved that one coz like no on ...NO ONE has ever written abt it (make it a lil smutty or suggestive pls<3 )
oops anonie, might've gone lil more than "suggestive" 🤭 here's part 1 for new readers!
Sukuna and his Hindu!Bride pt.2
tw. suggestive, oral (f!receiving), reader wears a saree the old way without blouse
It's been a few months into your marriage with the mighty king Ryomen Sukuna, and you've already started yearning for his undivided attention. Although he has never not been immersed and utterly obsessed with his little pretty Hindu!Bride since the first time, you crave being more than just in your busy man's arms at the fall of night.
Today, you peek out to make sure your husband is out of the chambers before you proceed with planning what to wear—and it's not the regular queen atire.
You're dressed in a long gorgeous saree, heavy golden ornaments dazzling head to toes. Sukuna loved watching you captivate him with your traditional elegance.
-
Out of his thrown room after a long day, the king hears the ringing melody of your payal chiming around the royal garden. His brows rise up, Sukuna missed this playful sound around his shrine... it's about to be an interesting night.
Stepping into the loucious garden, he's walking around in the silver moonlight searching for your familiar silhouette with a subtle grin. “Where's my lady?” he drawls while seeking for your trace like a big cat.
Hidden behind a tree, you attempt your best to stop your giggles well known to the fact how sharp Sukuna's senses are. This little game kept your adrenaline high as you peeked your head to look where he is.
Stepping closer, Sukuna smirks standing right behind you, with your head the other direction. He whispers with a smug look on his handsome face “Brat, brat... so playful”. His sudden rough voice causes you a tiny flinch as you turn your head. Your playful almond eyes looking back up at him.
The king pulls you flush to his firm chest, drawing out a soft gasp from her bride. Two ruby-red eyes set on your softer ones as the smaller pair subtly checks you out up and down... demanding answers for what he didn't ask. A lazy huff leaves his chest as one of his big palm starts to caress your features. He can smell your arousal.
Blushing, you attempt to speak “King... my king,” a rough thumb is placed on your plush lips shutting you effectively. With a few more long minutes of him admiring or rather glaring down your adorable shy face, he finally let's go of your smaller body and you step back, flustered.
The king grips the end of your silky long atire, pulling it slowly with one of his large arms. As your saree unwraps your body, the pull makes you stumble back on his strong chest... now leaving you unveiled in front of Ryomen Sukuna like nothing but a flustered little mess.
The view made him grin. His queen, his Hindu!Bride clad in nothing but heavy jewels to cover her from the night's cold breeze. It almost looks like a part of your golden skin. Shivers run down your spine. No matter how many times, he would never fail to make your body feel worshipped like a real deity before pleasuring it.
“Mohini...” (enchantress) he whispers at the sight. Your heart accelerates at his remark, causing your blush to run down your neck.
The king's smirk widens as one palm goes for your heated centre, a mouth splitting open on it's surface as he hoists you up. A soft yelp comes out of you, while he brings you near a tree and holds you still on it's rough trunk. Your soft-as-petal limbs shake and twitch by the sides of his big wet mouth, chanting your king's name. You gasp for more air.
One snap from one of his hands, and small droplets of rain start falling down in the cold night. Watching your drunken eyes widen with wonder, he uses his two spare hands to grip tight on your ankles, pining them spread on the trunk as well. The first arm keeps you balanced up high in front of him while still drinking in all your essence. Sukuna seemed to be high on it's taste.
In the silent moment of intimacy, little sighs leave you as the rainfall soaks both of your bodies with water. Just how much is he capable of, will ever be a mystery to her wife as well.
“You are one seductive woman...” he grumbles next to your ear, sounding as if he hadn't spoken in ages. Skilled tongue on his palm firmly latched to your tender flesh. The dangling jewels on your hair, arms, waist, hips and ankles clinking together on your damp tan skin as your smaller body shook in his grip, creating music mixed with your whimpers of pleasure only for his ears's to listen.
Your arms flew to hug his neck, bringing him closer as you rode your intense high, eyes watering. Head spinned while Sukuna held you close, watching you breathe in and out to calm your heart.
“More...” came a weak voice from your dry throat, his sharp red eyes set on your pinned open body like a fragile butterfly, “Swami”.
His warm mouth latches on the side of your neck, sharp canines tracing their path to your favourite spot making your toes curl in air. The monster king smiles sadistically knowing he is anything but leaving you undisheveled right now in this royal garden...

#Chapter 1
When Shyam Manohar Jha had walked into her life, his kindness was beyond any she had ever faced. Strength, courage, wit and decency. These were the pillars of his character.
She was going to marry the man who saved her and perhaps stepped into the role of her provider long before any relationship was formalized between them. Any woman would be blessed to be engaged to the man whose personality bore striking resemblance to his namesake God.
Except Khushi was far from happy. Everything was right, but it was not.
“Jalebi?” Shyam asked, breaking Khushi’s chain of thoughts as he passed her a plate of sweets from a sweetshop on their walk back to Buaji’s house. His gifted bracelet and engagement ring sat heavy on her hand. Could she have developed an allergy to metal? When Rahul had put bangles on Anjali’s hands in her favorite movie, butterflies had blossomed in a young Khushi Kumari Gupta’s stomach.
Yet Khushi did not feel any butterfly, except dread, settle in the pit of her stomach as their wedding approached.
But she did feel it once, when her anklet was returned, but her heart was not.
“Ah!” Khushi shrieked, the hot syrup of the store bought jalebi burning her mouth. Shyam rushed to bring her a bottle of water. Oh, this burn was nothing compared to her wounds from Diwali. Khushi threw away the jalebi, the fake food coloring staining her hands, the chemical sweetner leaving a bitter aftertaste in her mouth.
If her father was not paralyzed, he would have a fit over people selling cheaply made sweets by presenting it as authentic Lucknowi jalebis in Delhi!
Even the ‘a’ of authenticity was not there in this terrible jalebi! How someone could pull wool over anyone else’s eyes was always beyond Khushi.
“Here,” Shyam passed her the bottle of water, a sweet smile plastered on his face. Except this time his smile reminded her of chemical sweetners, his gaze just drifting to the skin between her dupatta and the neckline of her kurti.
Shyam checked himself, offering his hand to walk the rest of the way back to Buaji’s.
Khushi kept her hands to herself.
— — — — —
Instinct must never be forgotten. Questioned, yes, challenged, yes, but forgotten? Never. Khushi never revealed her doubts to any of her family members - how did Shyamji know that Akash and Payal were engaged even before anyone had told anything to Shyam? Why was he suddenly so hostile against the Raizadas? He was a stranger to them, was he not? He vowed to dissolve the talks of marriage between them, then how were they in a situation where the marriage was being rushed, instead? Did she actually hear Shyamji’s voice on Khushi’s chat with Anjali?
“Hey Devi Maiyya,” Khushi whispered to her angel faced Goddess lying on her study desk, “guide me.”
And she did.
Clues fell across Khushi’s face like an unexpected shower in Delhi. Suspicion and fear squeezed the breath of out Khushi’s lungs.
She did not pray, nor hope.
She did not know what she was expecting at all.
By the time Khushi reached the terrace to call the ever elusive jija-ji, she reached the conclusion she tried to deny for days. There was no way she, and her family, could’ve been blinded so easily. But her hands shook as she watched the familiar form, the sweet voice and common laugh. With a soft turn in the blinding sun, the truth couldn’t have been more stark.
Her fiancé, was the very married Shyam Manohar Jha.
— — — —
Khushi’s body shook in rage and disbelief. Her mind scrambled to find logic. Who in their right mind would play such a twisted game to go after a nobody despite being married to one of the most wonderful woman from an illustrious family? Her palm still stung from the slap she had delivered moments ago.
Her hand though, felt relieved without the ring and bracelet.
Should she tell the truth to Anjali? What about Payal’s marriage? How dare he deceive her family!
“Watch it!” Khushi stumbled into Arnav and collapsed on the floor. She tried to put together the pieces of his broken cup but her mind could not function. What could she tell him? That her fiancé was a married man? It is his beloved sister’s husband?
Would he trust her?
Had he ever trusted her?
What about his heartbreak?
Arnav had never recovered from becoming an orphan. He would not survive this heartbreak.
Despite a maddening urge to throw herself into his arms and have his strong shoulders lift the burden hers, she left the safety of his embrace and ran as far away as her feet could take her.
— — — — —
How would Payal take the news? What would happen to her impeding marriage? Mami ji would rejoice at the first step to break this alliance! What about Babuji? How would he bear this heartache-
“Khushi ji!” Shyam cried, pulling Khushi away from an oncoming car.
“Please, what if something happened!” Shyam attempted to hug her but Khushi shoved him away, adjusting her dupatta further around her body. He disgusted her.
Shyam’s face crumpled at her reaction, he tried to reach out and hold her hand, but she swiftly turned around and ran down the street.
“Khushi, please listen to me!” Shyam huffed, chasing Khushi. The audacity of that man! But what if his intentions wee further malicious? Just how could Khushi protect her and her family?
“Khushi ji if you don’t stop I’ll kill myself!” Shyam threatened, stepping in the middle of the busy road, waiting for one of the oncoming cars to hit him.
For half a second Khushi wished one car would run over him… but she couldn’t take it anymore.
Shyam never saw the car coming in his direction, because Khushi jumped in and pulled him out of danger.
He did not get to thank her as well as the car pushed its breaks a little too late - throwing Khushi headfirst on the ground.
— — — — —
Shyam waited in anxiety as the doctors checked on Khushi. He had taken Khushi into a private clinic, a couple of kilometers away. As much as he loved her, he could not afford the accident to gain attention nor any of their familiar hospitals recognize Shyam.
Goddamn Arnav and his charities.
There were already too many loose strings.
Shyam stepped by Khushi’s side, watching her pale face in morbid fascination. She looked beautiful even when she was nearly dead. For a moment Shyam was tempted to inject a painless lethal chemical into her saline.
She deserved to die in peace, after all she still loved him enough to save his life at the cost of hers.
And unfortunately, his one and only true love had become a hindrance and distraction in his plans. She knew too much, far too much.
Shyam caressed her cheek and slid his hand to her throat. This was the most difficult decision in his life. She was so delicate, that he knew one strong squeeze would give him the desirable outcome.
His gaze settled on her soft lips.
A parting kiss was in due.
Farewell, my dear, Shyam whispered, leaning down to kiss and choke her to death when her eyes fluttered open. He froze. The doctor too stepped in at the exact moment, forcing Shyam to retreat his hand.
Khushi sat up on the creaky hospital bed. She held her head, wincing at the pain.
“Careful, you’re recovering from a head injury.” The doctor gently warned Khushi, checking her blood pressure before writing prescriptions and handing it to Shyam.
“Doctor sahab, when can I go home?” Khushi whispered, still holding her head in her hands.
“Don’t worry, you can leave today itself but for that,” the doctor turned to Shyam, “please call a family member to sign her discharge papers.”
“Oh he can do it,” Khushi interjected, “he is my fiancé.”

Shyam Manohar Jha
Shyam Manohar Jha/
The name of Deception
By: Mysticaldivine
A deception, betrayal, treachery, treason, and scam has a face like Shyam. Perfidy and dodgy character like him does exist in this society living among us with all the double cross game plans, hurting many, destroying many, and killing many by having blood in their hands.
We have many names for Shyam, like a snake, spidey, slimy, slither etc. He knew how to swindle and flimflam the opportunities in his favor and why not. He was a lawyer, after all. Dirty games and tricks were parts of his life. When we first met him, he seemed to be a decent, well-groomed, protected, well-mannered character but big-time deceiving. It was no coincidence that he bumped into Khushi Kumari Gupta in Lucknow. The question is, why was he there when Anjali was there? Arnav was cracking the biggest deal of his life, the biggest matter of his life, which changed his and Anjali's lives forever.
Was there a story of Shyam attached to all of this that we have no clue about?
Let's say he was there to watch the assets Arnav bought for his sister, but it doesn't fit into my brain. It seems his side of the story is hidden and incomplete. Then he saves Khushi, and we know he was behind this goon's set-up. How?... later, Arnav says to Khushi that if Shyam had never seen her in Lukhnow or in that video of her falling in Arnav's arms, then he wouldn't have been behind her, and Anjali's wedding would have been safe...
Shyam manipulates Khushi's Buaji, becomes a paying guest, and plays her son's role very well. He develops a friendship with Khushi and tries to win her over by any means. We find out later that Shyam is married to Anjali, the focus of ASR's life. That was the biggest twist to this story, and it also generated curiosity and many questions.
Shyam tried all his tricks to bring Khushi into his life by hook or crook. We had witnessed his cruelty towards her father and his magical, deceiving mirror that reflected the world to defame Khushi's character and honour the Gupta family during Diwali. Still, something was not fitting into his life, and that was Khushi's mother...Devi Maiya who had her own tricks for him...
Payal and Akash's wedding. What on earth? He never thought of that, but no matter how much he ran away, Khushi finally found the connection between Rani Sahiba and Shyam; he was her husband...
His first slap towards reality and fears caught up in his neck. What will happen if Raizadas finds out here? He plays chisel schemes and has mind games with the Gupta family over Payal's wedding. He puts his head down until he ensures the Gupta family won't disclose his identity. His true colors come out again on Sangeet night when he tortures Khushi...and from that point on, he tries to kill Anjali to get Khushi back.
He was such a stupid... He wanted the money and the honey. The true colors of his deceitful actions and words were at their peak, and there was no difference in between him and that scorpion he brought to kill Anjali. I so wished Anjali had never removed it from his back.
His first slap was seeing Arnav and Khushi and their mutual interest during that night. That was a shocking moment, and after seeing them dancing together, he lost his cool. Even when NK mentioned how beautiful Arnav and Khushi looked together on stage, he completely lost his mind and yelled at him.
Unfortunately, Arnav misunderstands Khushi after seeing her in Shyam's arms on the terrace. He thinks that Khushi and Shyam are having an affair and decides to marry Khushi to save his sister's marriage. Khushi tries her best to prove her loyalty, but once again, Shyam makes Arnav think that Khushi is with him, not with Arnav, and things go in his favor. But it wasn't like that at all. Now Khushi was Arnav's wife who was her protector no matter what...Even Arnav discloses his reasons for marrying Khushi, and she tries to tell him all about Shyam, Arnav doesn't believe it and flies to London...
Arnav finally finds out that Shyam is that snake who kidnapped Arnav and held him captive for months from Khushi and NK's revelations. This time Arnav gives him a true tight slap for deceiving his sister first and then for disrespecting his wife.
Shyam used Anjali and this pregnancy to be in Shantivan as always. Whenever there was any discussion to have your own place to take Anjali with him, he created such situations that Anjali had to be in Raizada Mansion. The family's overprotective nature towards Anjali always went in his favor.
Of course, Shyam Manohar Jha would never accept defeat so quickly even after being thrown out of Shantivan. Shyam uses Anjali's pregnancy as an excuse to regain entry into the Raizada house but this time through Dadi. But this time Anjali faced a more significant loss with the family. Her child...
Shyam Manohar Jha killed his own unborn child. He was a bloody murderer.
The recreancy of his character comes out in the light when he reaches the hospital to play a sympathy card. His child was dead because he was not there with Anjali. Arnav punched the crap out of him but Anjali's stubbornness and Shyam's games played a big role in making him back in the Mansion. This time Khushi went against Arnav to bring him back for Anjali.
After re-entering the Raizada Mansion, he instigates Dadiji to break up Arnav and Khushi for good. Here the past of Khsuhi, her Amma's relationship with Arnav's dad, played a role... Shyam was a true imposter in bringing out this case to the light.
But after all this, Arnav and Khushi overcame every hurdle and married. Dadli left them again as she did fourteen years ago.
Seeing Anjali's deep faith in Shyam, Khushi and Arnav make other plans to bring his true colors in front of Anjali.Arnav, Khushi and NK finally reveal Shyam's horrific atrocities to Anjali... After discovering he was behind her child's death, she slaps him and vows never to see his face again.
. The way Shyam manipulated everyone around him was a new and totally different concept twelve years ago. Mostly Vamps had such characters and in different ways.... This guy had his rich wife wrapped around his finger to do whatever in his life! Not only that, he even had Naniji, Mamiji, Buaji and later Dadiji entirely under his control. Also, how he emotionally tortured Khushi and messed up her character and life, developing a relationship with cunning Arnav, makes him especially devious. Arnav couldn't figure him out at all... Anjali's blind faith made him resourceful too.
He was a cupid in Arshi's case; and we love our spidey, snake, slimy slithery Shyam...Well, Done!...

GopikaVallabham
The pleasant night, the carefree moonlight, none mattered to the Gopis of Vrindavan as much as the glow in Mohana's eyes. The sound of their payal, their laughter and songs added to the soothing tunes of his flute. His bansi's melody was a love letter in inself. No one knows who it is being played for,it simply sings praises of those who loose themselves to it.They all sneaked out of their houses to see him. It wasn't much of a deal to them,at this point they all woke up just hoping to get a glimpse of him! What if their families found out? They still didn't care, all they cared about was their Kanha's smile.Maybe reaching adolescence does that to people, though not in the case of Gopikas. They devoted not just their youth but their entire life and soul to him.
The Gopis had never realised when the simple games of chase, the innocent dances, had caused them to feel attracted towards Murlidhar. He truely was their Manmohana.

And we are off/Jetzt sind wir Weg!
To celebrate our 50th & 60th birthdays we started our trip to Istanbul via bicycle!
In exchange for extending the trip by 10 days, Payal agreed to forego 2.5 days of cycling through Switzerland. We jumped on unusually delayed trains between Bern and Constance.
We made it to Ravensburg (approx 50 km) a-ok. What is this city famous for? You got it games and puzzles for kiddos!
Yesterday we cycled about 80 km to Stetten, just outside of Mindelheim in the beautiful Allgäu. We made it just before the storm started and decided on a room rather than setting up camp in the rain.
Along the way we met a number of interesting people; a senior originally from Kazhakstan who also loves cycling, another senior who rode with us to the road we were looking for and a 27 year old kid who is about to start a world tour on his 🚲.
Payal misses paper cycle maps and we both hate Google maps! On the other hand most people are very friendly and curious about our trip.
Today we will try to make it to Munich. As René caught a sunstroke yesterday and it is rainy and cold today, we will see how far we get!
We plan to update the blog regularly in German and English with photos, voice recordings & text!
René contemplating what he is getting into with Payal on the ferry to Meersburg!

[ad_1] Image Source: AIFF -AIFF Media Team KATHMANDU, NEPAL: India crashed out of the SAFF Women’s Championship 2024 when they went down to Nepal 2-4 in penalty shoot-outs in the semi-finals played at the Dasharath Stadium on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Nepal will play Bangladesh in the final. In the first semi-final, Bangladesh defeated Bhutan 7-1. Played in front of a packed house, the shoot-out was applied after the full-time ended in a 1-1 draw in a match that witnessed more drama off the pitch than inside. Once India took the lead in the 62nd minute through Sangita Basfore’s brilliant shot from well outside the box and Nepal scored an “equaliser” that was denied by the referee, the match was held up for more than 70 minutes as the host side refused to continue protesting the referee’s decision. The scene on the pitch during this period was of utter confusion with some histrionics displayed by a section of the players and officials, mostly from the home side. The referee Om Choki from Bhutan waited patiently for more than hour and after lots of discussion between the supervising officials and the Nepal side, the match resumed. The long wait, absolute confusion. and a complete air of uncertainty definitely hampered the rhythm and concentration of the Indians. Seconds after the match resumed, Nepal equalised through Sabitra Bhandari that ultimately proved crucial in stretching the game beyond 90 minutes. In the tie-breaker, Nepal managed to convert all four of their initial attempts, while only Manisha and Karishma Shirvoikar could find the target for India. Skipper Ashalata Devi and Ranjana Chanu were the two who missed for the Blue Tigresses. The trouble began early in the second half when Nepal striker Rekha Poudel was given the marching orders for her second yellow card offence in the 51st minute. As the Nepal players vehemently protested the referee’s decision, the tension generated in the stands forced the assistant referee from the opposite line to abandon her post and take momentary refuge on the other side. It took around 12 minutes for the match to be resumed. The situation, however, went berserk and totally out of hand after India took the lead. As the Indian players went near the bench to celebrate the goal, Nepal did the “restart” and put the ball into an open Indian net. The referee didn’t allow the “goal” and it turned out to be the bone of contention. While the spectators displayed their unhappiness, the Nepal players and officials decided to troop out of the pitch. It took the organisers and the supervising officials more than an hour to sort out the problem. India, who were enjoying a good day in the office till then, were left as confused as anyone else at the Dasharath Stadium. Once the match resumed, the Blue Tigresses were never in their usual self again. India: Panthoi Chanu (gk) (Payal Ramesh Basude 90+3); W Linthoingambi Devi (Rimpa Haldar 66’), Juli Kishan, Ashalata Devi (c), Sanju, Ranjana Chanu; Aruna Bag, Grace Dangmei (Karishma 66’), Manisha; Bala Devi (Sangita Basfore 36’), Jyoti (Soumya Guguloth 66’). ArShi SS: Crossing Boundaries
Warning: 16+, heavy themes on desire
Note: I watched the kidnapping track where they're just so desperate for each other hence this is the end result. And a little gift for the enthusiastic reaction to the Sobti interview!
(Psst, please do go over and paste your comments in the website as well!)
Chapter 1 | Imagination
The mind does not differentiate between thought and reality. If an athlete simply imagined that they were running across a field track, their mind was stimulated as if it were in reality.
Thus when Arnav woke up mid sleep, drenched in sweat, heart racing as remnants of a sinful dream faded with waking, he knew he had crossed the first boundary of whatever moral decency that existed.
Khushi in a modest red saree with a daring backless blouse with no room for a bra.
He knew that it would just take a flick of a finger to undo the blouse.
What if the saree hadn't been pinned?
He had seen the sliver of skin through the gossamer fabric.
The long lashes wet in the rain, lips quivering in confusion...
Could he assume anticipation? Damn it, he was losing his mind. Playing games with Khushi Kumari Gupta was no longer fun. At first he had foolishly thought that it was a battle of wits and he had been so entertained to put her through menial tasks, watch her intelligent mind get frustrated with the redundancy. She was close to making a mistake, to not finding a creative solution for the assignments.
It had taken him one day to realize her mind, and mouth, were as sharp as a razor.
Thus having her stand motionless, mute, with a coat all day was the masterstroke. He saw the way her eyebrows shot up when Liza hugged him, then why did it piss him further when she seemed perfectly unperturbed when Liza continued to harp praises on him. Why did he need to get her attention on him?
And since when had Arnav Singh Raizada fret over a nobody.
Fret. Arnav scoffed, he was wiser than that. Obsession was the truth. There was something about her, something that frustrated him to no end.
Because having anything with Khushi Kumari Gupta would change the fundamental outlook of his life. She valued love, marriage, commitment and would see lust in the bracket of sin.
Arnav flopped back in his bed, content with being exhausted enough to catch a few more hours of sleep.
Being attracted to Khushi Kumari Gupta would challenge his formative beliefs and there's no way he would be trading his foundation for a passing fancy.
Even in a hypothetical world, Khushi wouldn't change to fit in his life. She wouldn't ever be a safe bet.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- --
Khushi couldn't risk fancying Arnav Singh Raizada. Fancy? Khushi sighed in defeat, twisting away in bed, unable to look at Payal's sleeping face nor Devi Maiyya.
She was bothered by her relief in staying back in Delhi. Of course staying back in the same city as Buaji meant the most, but he lived in this city too.
Something bugged her about Arnav Singh Raizada. It almost felt like if she spent another minute in his presence, something might happen.
Something that might fundamentally change Khushi Kumari Gupta.
Something for which she'd trade her strict upbringing and romantic dreams.
In the romantic novels she sneaked in at library, the term fancy felt closest. Because this couldn't be love. But it bore the symptoms of it all.
Yes, she wanted to see him again, yet run away at first sight.
Yes, he made her pulse go faster, as well as her nerves.
Yes, she had dreams where he caressed her hair in her sleep, and a reality where he'd push her buttons to the extremes.
The contradictions ruled out anything that could happen between them. But when she told she couldn't, no, wouldn't see him ever again, she wanted to stay back and look at the disaster on his face.
They had nothing, but it felt like she broke something.
Khushi closed her eyes, shivering at the wind brushing her hair across her forehead.
He stared at her, brushing the hair away. Once to see her, then again to caress her. She felt his strong hands rest on her skin as he carried her, lightweight. The sheer power in his physicality - the heat emanating from his skin or the eyes that just saw right through what she wore.
Imagination was worse than reality, Khushi concluded.
Reality gave one the excuse to state that one didn't anticipate crossing the boundary. But imagination revealed that one was yearning to cross it all along.
