Vatech Pax-i Series – An Orthopantomogram Device, Revolutionising Dental Imaging
In today’s digital world, the dental imaging has also evolved in tune to that of the technological advancements made in other industries. OPG is also one such example of the development which enables the dentists to take panoramic or wide view x-ray of the lower face, which displays all the teeth of the upper and lower jaw on a single film.  It demonstrates the number, position, and growth of all the teeth including those that have not yet surfaced or erupted. It is different from the small close up x-rays dentists take of individual teeth. An OPG can also reveal problems with the jawbone and the joint which connects the jawbone to the head.
The dentists in India too, are now able to enjoy the comfort of OPG, thanks to companies like Vatech India. Vatech’s Pax-i range of imaging technology has eased the lives of dentists to a great extent. The Pax-i 3D variant of the Pax-i series is designed in such a way that it generates the panoramic view x-ray of the entire face, including upper and lower jaws in a single film. The best part of Pax-i 3D imaging is that is it very easy to handle and does not require too many technicians to operate and can easily be connected with the computer where all records can be maintained in the desired manner.
