Every Which Way Crochet Borders by Edie Eckman
Every Which Way Crochet Borders
Edie Eckman hooks and scores with another crochet pattern book that is a ‘Must Have’ in my opinion. Every crocheter needs this book.
So often, we tend to stop at the edge of the project thinking, “What more can I do to top off my project with extra oohs and aaahs!”
For me, I draw a blank at times of ideas. Edie has a…

Medieval fair finds:
The fluffiest sheep skin I ever saw. The stall owner spoke little French and with a German accent so thick I understood maybe a word out of four, but apparently, this is called a "fox sheep", it’s less curly and more fluffy than an average sheep and it’s a relatively uncommon colour. If you know anything about wool and sheep, feel free to add infirmation because I am not sure of how much I understood.
A sewing guide to women’s medieval clothes from the 12th to the 15th century. I didn’t have enough money to buy the Viking Age book too but the seller was super kind and gave me tips to modify the patterns in this book to make Viking Age dresses.
A horn hairpin from a Viking inspired stall. I fell in love with a bone hairpin copied from an extant museum piece, with beautiful and intricate carvings, but the seller warned me it was very easy to break and I froze with my hands hovering over the bone hairpin. I looked at my hands, looked at the hairpin, back at my hands, and decided for this horn one that was my second favourite and far less breakable. When I put it on, I immediately dropped it on the floor and it confirmed my choice to buy the sturdier hairpin.
And last, a very cute glass vial on a necklace. It was sold with mint sirup inside but I can change the liquid to vary the colours.

This fun and useful PDF is full of interesting and novel quilt ideas and patterns. As the patterns in the original book are intended to be traced, I have added in the measurements of the traceable images in order to make it useful as a PDF for all.
The measurements are in inches.
