What's circled in blue is the seal of Australia, easily recognizable by the kangaroo and emu:

Which means that that is, presumably, an Australian passport. But WHOSE Australian passport? Scott wasn't part of the X-Men during the Outback Era, and even if he had been, he wouldn't have been an Australian citizen.

Am I missing something or is this totally baffling??

I wonder if he misses the weather, even though the southwest desert is warm, its not the same kind of warm. Is he still fluent in spanish or has he lost it over the years?
