In this swap au PJ is like, a super lame half vampire with all weaknesses and no strengths. you see, ive always assumed that davy lost his hand when he died/turned into a vampire, which doesnt seem to be long after defeating the great sphinx based on how old he looked in the shot we saw. which, if we assume francisco was 30-35 years old when that happened, then that was 40+ years ago
#my thought process is: vampires dont have ghosts despite being dead. lefty is a ghost. lefty was chopped off either as or right before davy#died. davy being turned somehow caused his house to become the slanted manse and pj to die instantly. trapping him underground#until lefty found him and started dragging him from safe house to safegouse to protect him (from himself? im not sure)#lefty=davy as he was human. the davy we know=human davy whos lost his humanity/given into vampirism becoming a twisted form of himself#paranatural

actually, lefty being "restless" according to pj is an interesting detail considering what we know about ghosts thusfar (particularly that theyre inclined to remain in one relative area). you have to wonder if he's just sort of aimless, or if he's Looking For Something
