The BBC 1970s adaptation of Palliser is alright but I think they need to give us what we deserve out of an adaptation & make one that's a comedy. the scene where George Vavasor goes to the House of Commons covered in blood has to be shown for its full comedic value. so does Finn sadly riding back on his donkey after his crush fails to read his mind & realise that he likes her even though he's never breathed a word about liking her before. hell even add in some things that aren't in the books as gags. I think Palliser should know what excel is but nobody else does
