this is not a hot take whatsoever and I'm pretty sure more than half the fandom already thinks that way but I feel like even in a modern setting sirius and remus would be those people who mostly listen to 70s-80s music and listen to music on a record player.

I'm pretty sure they would have like thrifted walkmans and cd players still and they would go tape hunting™ trying to find tapes of the bands they love while people look at them weird because who tf listens to cassette tapes still at the year of 2020 somethings?

Apparently they do.

Like they would like new music too of course but I can clearly see them getting fussy about missing out on the "best era of music". (am I projecting? maybe.)

New music wise I feel like Sirius would LOVE Maneskin. ("Rock n Roll is back baby!!")

Maybe palaye royale if you squint idk about this one.

Remus would like Arctic Monkeys I think. (I saw someone saying he would like Snap Out Of It and its living rent free in my head ever since)

I would KILL for them listening to My Chemical Romance (imagine them blasting Destroya or Vampire Money in the car)

And no one can tell me sirius wouldn't just go feral singing along to "Mama"

Plus "You know what they do to guys like us in prison" reminds me of Remus for some reason.

I remember any other "modern" bands/artists to save my life rn but yeah you get the point thanks for listening to me ramble lmao.

Palaye Royale's New Album is AMAZING!

Sorry for dying for the last while, but... Now I have to catch up on fangirling- I'M OBSESSED WITH DEATH OR GLORY! I got the CD, and it's amazing! Love this new era!

My #1 favorite song rn is Dark Side of the Silver Spoon (Love the music video so much)! My other faves are For You, Ache in my Heart, Death or Glory, Showbiz, and Addicted to the Wicked & Twisted! I don't think a single track is a skip though tbh- I love them all!

Also, I'd love to hear about everyone's favorite songs on Death or Glory, so please let me know! :3

the villain with a sad, familiar backstory, leader of the underdogs, revolutionary. no shit that dude is so into star wars, that's the type of villain he'd be, for sure (not for sure, I've never finished the first movie). he has a motive and a passion, he's bringing peace, he has a sidekick, he's taking charge of his life, he's sick of what the world offers him. he's only a villain as a defense mechanism, the explosive type, he wouldn't sit back and plan, he'd act on it diligently and call for others to join him.

howdy! i wanted to make a little post to talk about myself. let you get to know me a little, like what my interests are outside of 5sos, fun facts about me, etc! c:

introduction to me:

so, you can call me era! that isnt my real name, but we're gonna call it a penname for now. im sixteen, and currently i live with my mother. my favorite color is red (and two very specific shades of brown and blue), and i am in ashton's lane. i've been in the 5sosfam for around ten years now, obviously i havent been active in the fandom for ten years but i have been listening to them for that long! yes, i have been in ashton's lane since the very beginning.

my musical interests outside of 5sos include bands like slipknot, metallica, foo fighters, all time low, lana del rey, ac/dc, ad infitium, palaye royale, ashton's solo stuff, luke's solo stuff, twenty one pilots, and many more! i play the piano, ukulele, i took vocal lessons for three years, and i'm learning guitar and drums :). i'm starting a band with one of my closest friends, and we haven't really decided on a name yet.

i LOVE supernatural. it is one of my all time favorite shows. i have every season up to the last one memorized word for word. you give me a synopsis and i can recite it. i love twilight, i have almost all of the books. i am so normal about greek mythology, sooo normal. i totally do not rant and rave about how hades is NOT the god of death, he's the god of THE DEAD. i would NEVER.

so! i wanted to finally dive back into the tumblr side of 5sos. i don't know exactly what i want this blog to be about, but i think i want it to have everything. i'll do photo dumps of the band, talk about the band, i might repost fics and stuff on here, who knows!
