For the Paladin Wolrd Leaders Au,
I think it would be a fun idea if the elves were brought back from the dead with the help of Dryad. This is an idea I have fallen in love with thanks to my friends @/t-f-t and @/funky-sea-cryptid they are your local elf lovers and have made a hole ass websites dedicated to there HC about the panthions, the elfs, the devil etc
And I think it would be a nice add on to the Au ( Yes for angst purposes, the elfs are fun to hurt :33) I'm not saying that you should 100% agree with this haven no. I'm just throwing it out there as a fun lil idea
Oh I like it, Licht 2.0 suffering a similar fate as the original, it'll be even more fun considering Licht would be able to come back and see the fate his successor has suffered.
The Tyrant V.S. The Chieftain.
Licht: Asta...
Asta: Ser Licht? Hmm... it seems Ichika was right about there being a reason we found such a large concentration of Mana in somewhere like this. She's going to be insufferable when I get back.
Licht: ...No, Tyrant, you won't be going back to wherever you came from, this ends now.
Asta: HAH! *Gestures to the demon skull they are both standing in* And here I thought you used to have a big head!
Licht: *narrows his eyes* Maybe, but I still have the power to back my claims up, do you?
Asta: *Smirks* why don't you come and see, Chieftain Of The Elves!

OC info and lore m’lord? Brave knight… please they’re both so handsome… I’d take Hancock in a knife fight for just one date fr…. Bleeding on the concrete outside kle0s shop rn….
Omg,,, thank u for the ask, I’ll take this as an opportunity to introduce all of my fellas since i have multiple saves/ocs for fallout 4. Right now they’re all in separate aus but I wanna connect them, I just haven’t decided who I want to be the sosu yet, if i even want one at all.
Starting with Ranger, my newest character. He’s the charismatic leader of the Minutemen. He likes making light of every situation, but he knows when to take things seriously. He just puts on a laidback attitude so he appears less intimidating. He’s trying very hard to make the commonwealth safer, but he has some doubts and insecurities about his position, which he bottles up and keeps to himself. He wants to be the person that everyone can rely on and look up to, even if that means putting his own problems aside to appear put-together and strong. He’s the one I draw Edward Deegan with, and I wanna do more with the two of them since I love me some eldritch horror vibes. I imagine Ranger and Edward go on relic hunts for Jack Cabot after their questline, getting into hijinks and fun spooky, horrifyingly traumatic adventures. Maybe kissing along the way. Who knows.
Knight on the other hand, is an anxious, paranoid little glorbo; and I say this while he stands at like 6’4”, he’s BIG, the tallest of all of my guys. He’s got severe PTSD and he really doesn’t like living in the apocalypse. He had a wife! They were in a queer platonic relationship; they got married for the benefits but they’re both gay. He’s devastated after losing her, since she was his best friend. He has a very hard time adjusting to the new commonwealth, he barely scrapes by, has to force himself to function because everything reminds him of war and suffering. He eventually stumbles into Goodneighbor, gets hooked on chems to distract himself from bad memories, meets Hancock one bad night and ends up getting drunk/rambling to the poor ghoul. They end up hitting it off despite the ridiculous introduction. Hancock manages to ground Knight, gives him a purpose again; helping good people, and hurting bad people. Knight travels the commonwealth doing odd jobs, trying to do what he can, even joins up with the Railroad to help out the Synths. Just trying to make up for all the time he’d lost, doing what he thinks would’ve made his best friend proud.
Now for Paladin. Yes, he is named Paladin, and yes, he WAS Paladin Paladin before being promoted to Sentinel. It’s probably obvious by now that I have a Dnd/medieval theme for my character’s names. Anyway, Paladin here is— of course— a part of the Brotherhood of Steel. I made him to be a big dickhead because I don’t play mean characters in video games enough. Unlike my other sosus he’s actually thriving in the apocalypse. Before being frozen he was very dissatisfied/disconnected with the ordinary life he was trying to live, he felt like a husk of himself and he couldn’t understand why. After waking up and being met with a destroyed world, his soldier mentality immediately kicked in again. He adapted fast, and when he learns about the Brotherhood and its US military-esc operations he quickly latches onto it. It’s familiar to him, and he excels at his duties. He rises through the ranks quickly, earning his place as Sentinel and developing a massive ego along the way. The Brotherhood makes him feel powerful, and that sort of becomes an addiction of sorts. He just wants more and more power, he wants to be respected; and if not respected, feared.
And as a bonus unrelated to fallout 4,
This is Monty, aka Montague. He’s a prewar ghoul living in the Canadian territories, or Little America as it’s referred to in the Fallout universe. He was a proud mountie back before Canada was annexed, kept his uniform in a locked safe for years. When the bombs fell and he was ghoulified, he pulled it out and dedicated himself to helping those who get lost in the nuclear winter. I’m still learning things about Fallout lore so idk how Canada is depicted after the bombs in canon, but the idea I had is that Monty lives in a massive, snowy wasteland which he’s learned to navigate with a lot of hard work and dedication. He earns caps by guiding people through the tundra, since few know how to avoid all the dangers it poses.

-The World's most Multiversal DND Party!-
(featuring @danganronpasurvivoraskblog, @a-student-out-of-time, @finalverse and @despair-to-future-arcs)
[MORE INFO UNDER CUT]
//So there were a lot of talks about the main protagonists of mine and three other well-known Danganronpa ask blogs forming a DND part together on Mod Bubbles blogs, and as an artist, and a major DND fan, I could not resist.
//My little autistic cogs in my little autistic brain got turning and I basically made full on character sheets for all four main protags of each of the blogs; Kuripa from Survivor, Hajime from ASooT, Nagi from NWPM, and Aliza-chan from Finalverse
//I won't post the full sheets because I don't know how many people would want to see that, plus it's a shitton of information that I just don't want to bother with. But outside of the character cards above, here's a brief summary of every character in this "AU" shall we say.
Hajime - The party leader. Was once a young boy who never stood out, but gained the gift of a prophecy that showed him a dark future wrought by dark lord Junko Enoshima. Now with the power to reset himself every time he dies, the number of times depicted in his magical left eye, he dedicates his life to the journey of stopping the prophesized dark future. Sometimes he can be a bit cold and distant, always acting like the fate of the world rests squarely on his shoulders despite his teammates by his side, but he is capable, kind and a true leader.
Aliza - Aliza has a power with a similar origin to Hajime, which gravitates her towards him, and eventually is the founding reason she becomes his ally. Unlike him however, power is that to see and explore other universes parallel to theirs, where everything can be different, and she struggles to control it. The goal of her journey is to learn to use her power for good, and to escape the lofty expectations and cruelty of her family. She's a little bit clumsy and inexperienced as a result, with her wild magic sometimes landing her team in deeper trouble than they were originally, but she always means well and if nothing else, serves as the heart of the group.
Kuripa - He was originally a well-known artist and sculptor who lived a quiet life until a rogue in a steel mask raided his village and murdered his sister. For those who frequent this blog, you know how this story goes. He dedicated the rest of his life to hunting down the murderer, learning black magic arts and becoming a blood hunter, willing to sacrifice anything and anyone, including his own body, if it meant achieving his goal. He's a bit of a loose cannon and more violent than his peers when it comes to executing plans, much to Hajime, Aliza and Nagi's chagrin, but it's made up for in the fact that when he gets the job done, he REALLY gets the job done, and it makes them glad that he's an ally and not an enemy.
Nagi - Nagi was an Aasimar who was the guardian of a realm in the sky known as "Neo World" until she was attacked by Junko Enoshima's evil paladin right-hand, Mukuro Ikusaba, who was ordered by Junko to kill her and bring back a part of her body to show that she'd finished the job. After this encounter, Nagi miraculously survived, but Mukuro successfully tore her wings from her body. Nagi joins the party out of revenge, and despite her trauma, is still the most mentally sane member of the group, acting a lot like a team Mom of sorts.
//I'll also but transparent renders of the characters here if that tickles your fancy. Thank you for letting me pour my little nerd heart out.

I saw a D&D AU with the Voices, and I decided that I also wanted to do a D&D AU with the Vessels, so here goes:
*cracks knuckles*
The players are the chapter 2 vessels, who have joined together after they were each mysteriously attacked---and nearly kidnapped---by worshipers of a primordial god only known as The Narrator. Even though they're all vastly different people with vastly different motivations, they have to work together in order to figure out how they've somehow angered a long-forgotten god.
The Tower is a scourge aasimar and an Oath of Conquest paladin, who devoted herself to The Apotheosis, queen of the gods and the embodiment of justice and retribution. She acts as the self-appointed leader of the group, even though a good chunk of the other players are having none of her self-righteousness and narcissism. She doesn't believe that the Narrator actually exists, and considers the quest to just be another heretic-killing spree.
The Adversary is a tiefling Ancestral Guardians barbarian, who grew up in a rough-and-tumble all-barbarian community and is slated to become its next leader. She's just happy to travel around the world bashing heads, and she winds up clashing the most with Tower---mainly due to their very different backgrounds. She genuinely doesn't care who or what the Narrator is, and just wants to kick ass and have a good time.
The Spectre is a ghost and a necromancer wizard, who actually died when she was attacked and has brought herself back in order to track down her killer and to take her revenge. She kind of lost herself in the ivory tower of academia when she was alive, and part of the reason she's sticking with the others is so she can actually form connections before it's truly too late. She's studied several old cults in her time, but the only thing she's found of The Narrator is an old painting of a crow with sharp teeth...
The Nightmare is a dhampir and an Undead warlock, who draws her magic from the dread vampire queen who turned her. She is no stranger to being hunted, for people fear and shun vampires and their spawn, but she knows full well that this time is different. And during the attack, she managed to devour a dream of her would-be captor, getting a little glimpse into the ancient powers of the god that wants her gone... and, well, who can resist the allure of taking down a being as old as time?
The Witch is a tabaxi Circle of Spores druid and an Arcane Trickster rogue, who's been living on her own in the woods after suffering a great betrayal and heartbreak that damaged her trust in anyone. She's only working with the others because she believes she'll get further if she does, and while she initially intends to backstab them once they're no longer useful, she finds herself growing closer to them as their journey continues. All she really wants is to go back to her old life... but her goal may change as her walls begin to come down.
The Prisoner is a human Armorer artificer, who once angered an archfey and was cursed to always be bound in chains. Undeterred, she turned this to her advantage, reforging her chains into armor that she could use as a weapon. She starts traveling with the rest purely due to self-preservation, as every time she resolved to just hide, The Narrator's worshipers found her again---but she's definitely the practical mind that they needed.
The Damsel is a half-elf College of Creation bard and a Beastmaster ranger, and she's a princess whose kingdom was usurped by an evil family member, leaving her on the run. She's very naive about how the world works, mainly due to being sheltered her entire life, and is sure that this situation can be solved with a nice conversation. Thankfully, she has someone to help her...
The Beast is a fey that was cursed to take the form of a barely-sapient panther, and she barely recalls her life in the Feywild. Still, she has a soft spot for the innocent princess she came across in the woods one day, and she will protect her for as long as she can.
The Razor is an elf Soulknife rogue and a College of Swords bard, and she's actually a pretty well-known circus performer. She's absolute chaos personified, and she really doesn't give a shit about The Narrator either way---she's just ready to kick ass, stab people, and hang out with her new best friends. Even if not all of them are super into being friends with the crazy blade lady.
And last but not least, The Stranger is a changeling Divine Soul sorcerer and a Grave Domain cleric, who unknowingly draws their power from the long-forgotten goddess of change, transformation, endings, and new beginnings. They woke up one day with no memory of who they were, and were immediately attacked for reasons they could not explain---so, needless to say, they're pretty traumatized. It also doesn't help that they don't even know what they really look like, so they're constantly changing to reflect what people expect of them... which isn't the most healthy thing, but they're an amnesiac, give them a break.
So... yeah!

Gorgug has stepped into the role of a leader as the Champion of Ankarna, protector and symbol of the growing resistance against Porter. He isn't the same kid he was on freshman year, full of self-doubt and holding a flower, but...well, sometimes he wonders whether he's the best guy for the job. His friends are smarter, stronger, better, and the only reason Fig isn't the one doing this is because she's shatterstar-warped and stuck at Porter's side. He believes in Ankarna. He believes in justice, in a new dawn, in hope. He just doesn't always believe in himself. Ankarna does, though. ... A brief one-shot in the paladin!Gorgug au, featuring a conversation between Gorgug and Ankarna.

Chapter 11: We Prepare For the Big Boss Battle
Things are definitely starting to pop off now, and also oh god this fic is already so long and the chapters ahead aren't going to be any shorter...we'll be breezing right past that 100k mark, huh?! Anyway, in this one the party witnesses some horrors, gets caught in a snow storm, and then Mike has his heart broken :)
Tags: M, Graphic Descriptions of Violence, Fantasy AU, Canon Typical Violence, Canon Typical Horror, Friends to Lovers, Slow Burn
Summary:
Mike Wheeler hates High School, so when he almost dies and falls through a portal to another world, he’s not going to complain. Especially not when that world does not only have swords and magic but seems to work exactly according to the rules of his favorite tabletop role-playing game. But his euphoria might be short lived because the party of adventurers he falls in with turns out to be the target of an evil god and the fate of the world might rest on their shoulders. So, exactly like his games of D&D. Except the wanna-be Paladin soon realizes that being a hero is much harder in real life than it is in-game. - Or, Mike gets isekai’d into a world where D&D is real.
An excerpt and taglist below the cut:
Excerpt:
Lucas and Hop spend breakfast arguing with that part of Kali’s group about the best path up the mountain and then lead them out of town through the northernmost gate. The Prince falls back towards the two Sorceresses once they’ve left Blackhollow behind, joining the discussion that had broken out between them, Max and Funshine about how to best approach their homicidal brother. Somehow, despite the topic the conversation seems almost boisterous as laughter and delighted squeals make their way to the back of their now even longer procession, where Mike is shuffling along.
Jonathan joins his stepfather in the front, falling into easy conversation. His mother has to try a little harder as she and Dustin try to connect with the rest of Kali’s group, who have taken up post just behind their leader. Eric and Max flit in and out of sight as they scout ahead, leaving the guarding of the rear to Will and Mike. Considering his state of exhaustion it’s not a bad place to be in. He’d rather walk in silence with Will than try to have a conversation with a woman he’d seen murder someone last night – and besides they’ll be rethinking and overthrowing their plans more than a dozen times on their trek up the mountain. There’s time for Mike to join that conversation, maybe even be invited to it, later.
For now he sticks to Will, although the Cleric is more quiet than usual. Mike doesn’t mind, though. They talk for a bit as they set off, small talk about where they’re headed and how soon they can expect to reach the top of the mountain, and then fall into a semi-comfortable silence. Will seems deeply stuck in his head, likely just as exhausted as Mike and unsettled by last nights events, and as the silence stretches on Mike follows, his thoughts drifting.
He spends the first day’s walk trying to connect to the magic around him, focusing on channeling its energy into this sword to create a smiting effect. Having taken his oath he should be at level 3, in game terms, and that should allow him to create more magical effects, including dealing elemental damage with his weapon attacks. But only in theory. He half considers snapping Will out of his reverie to ask him for help, but stubbornly decides against it because none of the smiting spells are on the Cleric spell list and besides, being a Paladin the magic of his oath should allow him to create these magical effects intuitively. He just needs to practice more, is all.
Not that things go any better when he gets the chance to do that.
They make early camp just outside the next village, sending Dustin and Jonathan in to gather some more supplies and otherwise fanning out around their camp to practice, just like Mike had predicted. Hop already gets on his case during warm ups, which Mike supposes is fair because he is distracted by their new allies training around them. Which doesn’t mean it doesn’t still piss him off – and it doesn’t get better when they finally move on to practicing his stances and sparring. Mike’s not much more than a training dummy for Hop to practice his own swordsmanship on, is still only helplessly hacking and slashing at the other Paladin, barely able to parry strikes that would cut him to pieces in seconds, while apparently not just everyone in this party but everyone in the god damn world is better than him at fighting. And Hop seems to be solely capable of criticizing and yelling at him.
So, it’s almost a relief when Hop kicks him to the floor, sword hovering dangerously close to Mike’s neck, and announces they’re done unless Mike can stop acting like a damn Barbarian.
It only makes him wonder if he’s in too deep with his Paladin oath to switch classes over to Barbarian instead. The anger boiling in his chest sure feels easier than trying to harness magic, that’s for sure.

dametameta dynamic in 21 + 3 different aus teeny and I have developed. why?? idk it was just fun. also I'm insane
Pokemon: childhood friends that had a major falling out as teens as a result of an incident that caused the loss of DMK's eye. MK went on to become the Indigo Plateau champion while DMK got wrapped up in Team Rocket grunt work. DMK fell on hard times when his faction of Rocket was dissolved and left him unemployed. in a desperate and poorly thought out attempt at making money from ransom I guess, DMK kidnaps the Indigo champion, not knowing his true identity until he has him tied up in his apartment. This is their reunion after like 15 years apart
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: The same except MK is magicked away to PMD world before the kidnapping, with DMK following sometime after. MK keeps his identity hidden from DMK out of desire to "start over" and mend their friendship, but it leads to trouble
SCP: MK is the leader of MTF Iota-8 ("Meta Knights") and DMK is a transdimensional shapeshifter employed by the Foundation as a member of MK's squad. MK is a human with anomalous super healing as a result of a scip incident and DMK "respawns" from his native mirror dimension whenever he suffers mortal harm, making them both prime candidates for dealing with especially dangerous scips. DMK is kind of a flirt but MK is like anomaly-racist and rather cold with him. He gets better though
LISA The Painful: MK is a stealth trans man living in isolation and DMK is a pathetic junkie that broke into his home looking for drugs. They become unlikely friends and eventually set out in search of an antidote after DMK takes Joy on a bad day
The Legend of Zelda: MK is Sheikah and DMK is a member of the Yiga clan. DMK joined the clan out of disillusionment with the Sheikah/humanity as a whole - he gets pushed around and picked on a lot and doesn't really get along with the other Yiga, but is scared to leave because of their reputation with deserters. MK, who DMK formed a friendly rivalry turned unlikely friendship with, aids in his escape from the clan after which they continue to travel together
Final Fantasy 14: MK, tenth son in a family of moon keepers, is a gladitorial champion turned Paladin that joins the Scions and other WoLs in A Realm Reborn. DMK is an ex-Nunh turned ex-criminal turned ex-rogue sun seeker with a comically depressing life that joins the crew in Heavensward after becoming a Dark Knight. They butt heads, a lot, but have an uncanny synergy despite it that makes them the designated party tanks for (almost) the entire story
Splatoon: Both Octolings that once served in the Octarian army, now living in Inkopolis. DMK, already kind of lazy and self serving, adapted to the fun-loving Inkling lifestyle pretty quickly, but MK, an ex-elite, has trouble moving on and adjusting. MK is an inkbrush/splatana wiper main and DMK is an octobrush/splatana stamper main
mostly D&D based with some creative liberties: Both tieflings cursed in different ways by the same god of violence and hedonism. MK, a paladin whose god was usurped by Mr. Murder, now forced to entertain his violent whims else he suffers painful Side Effects. DMK unknowingly picked up a bloodthirsty sword that turns him into a mindless killing machine if he doesn't cut enough people with it. They along with a few others also affected by Mr. Murder's meddling band together to get revenge
demon: MK is a demon hunting battle priest and DMK is a centuries old incubus that seduces him. DMK's demonic influence starts turning MK into one of his kind, but MK can't get rid of DMK because he's clingy due to a "recent" break up with his angel bf. over time MK accepts DMK's presence and they eventually develop a proper healthy relationship
monster: MK is a monster hunter and DMK is the bat-like beast that he's constantly trying to stop from eating everyone's sheep. When MK is mortally wounded in a battle with another monster, DMK reluctantly saves his life by sealing the wound with a sort of... sticky venom, that has the unfortunate side effect of turning MK into a monster himself
different flavour of monster: MK is a vampire hunter recently inflicted with lycanthropy and DMK is a vampire. when DMK is caught in MK's house (looking for a snack) the night of his first transformation, MK uncontrollably attacks him and literally rips him to pieces. out of guilt, MK allows DMK to feed on him the next day, starting off an uneasy but mutually beneficial arrangement
basic ass fantasy: MK is captain of the royal guard and DMK is a changeling fairy that wants his name for nefarious purposes. DMK pesters him constantly but MK is too smart for his fey bullshit, making him more of a minor nuisance than a real threat
dark fantasy soulsborne aesthetic kind of thing?: MK is a demon/monster hunter of sorts, trying to take down a particularly powerful evil priest, and DMK is another wandering hunter with another cursed sword that starts eating him alive if he doesn't give it enough blood. can you tell I like the evil sword thing for DMK? They first meet under... unfortunate circumstances, but despite their adverse relationship, they eventually team up to save someone from the aforementioned priest
cyberpunk: both orphaned as young children from different incidents of faction violence, MK grew up on the streets with a group of friends/found family and now does bounty hunting/mercenary work with them, while DMK was taken in by a faction leader and raised as his own to eventually inherit his underground empire. after a botched assassination attempt on DMK, DMK gets dear old dad to spare MK's life and have him indentured as a bodyguard instead because he thought it was really hot how he tried to kill him
fish: MK is a marine biologist that periodically runs into DMK, a bull shark merman, while doing field work. one day while out at sea, a storm flips his boat leaving him to drown in the rough waters if not for DMK's interference. DMK saves him by turning him into one of his own... oh i guess that's another thing we like huh
space: MK is of an endangered alien species, disguised as a human living on a large space station to observe, study, and live in safety. DMK is his assigned bunk mate and uh... he's just kind of a guy idk it's been a while since we touched this one
sweet home inspired not-zombie monster apocalypse kind of thing: they are apartment neighbours, DMK a single dad and MK often hosting his kid cousin. they don't get along because DMK plays loud music and stomps around in his fuckass boots, but their kids are friends so they put up with each other. they eventually find common ground and become friends themselves, even risking their lives for each other and their kids when the monster shit starts happening
urban fantasy devi magi: in a world with humans, magi (gifted humans with magic abilities), and devi (monstrous invaders that settled into the world long ago), they're on a team of hunters that take care of dangerous devi. DMK is the newest member and sole human on the team and MK is half devi. they had worked together previously, terminating in an incident where MK left DMK behind to pursue a target, resulting in the loss of DMK's eye, so there's a bit of a grudge present
western: MK is sheriff of a small desert town, previously leader of a gang of misguided bandits until changing their priorities to helping others, DMK is a monster hunting cowboy that left his simple farm life in search of thrills. DMK stops in town and embarrasses MK during an attack by a monster of the week, setting off a petty rivalry
evil murder god alien sex club: MK works at the titular club trying to raise money to take care of a deathly ill family member, and DMK is a lonely loser with a lot of inheritance money to blow that spends a lot of time at the bar and paying for MK's attention. after finding out MK's situation, DMK tries to help get him out, but the murder god in the basement running the place isn't interested in letting go any employees
farming sim! yay!: MK is the town blacksmith and DMK owns a ranch. they probably have some weird grudge with each other and sexual tension you know how it is. this au is like a week old gimme a break
isolated dynamics that don't really have a whole au to go with them:
1: DMK is a woodsman living in an isolated cabin off the grid, hiding from conviction for a murder he may or may not be responsible for, MK is grievously injured in the woods and taken in by DMK while he recovers. they develop an intimate relationship, but things start to get weird as MK starts to recover and hears about an escaped convict on the radio
2: MK is a city boy with an upper class family and DMK is a simple farm boy living with his aging mother. MK, bored with his life, would sneak out as a teen and get into tussles with DMK for kicks. after a long absence due to moving away, MK, as an adult, now sneaks out to go hunting. they reunite when DMK discovers him after he is poisoned and paralyzed, taking him home to help him recover
3: sort of kirby canon headcanon backstory swap. DMK is adopted by an upper class family and grows up pampered and educated and scrawny. MK grew up feral, never made any friends, retained his more animalistic traits and now lives in a shack in the woods. MK travels to the mirror world to beat up DMK just for existing and sheltered DMK finds the beatdown so shocking and impressive and weirdly hot that he becomes fixated on besting MK in battle to get his attention/approval
common themes:
some kind of rivalry, grudge, or opposition, turned attraction turned romance (duh) usually with ~History~
working together against a common enemy despite not really getting along
DMK evil sword
MK usually responsible for DMK's eye
MK usually some kind of authority or upper class man with a secret rebellious wild side or past
DMK usually lower class, often a farm boy, sometimes just a fucking loser
DMK being some kind of monster/anomaly and targeting MK
one being injured or down on their luck and being taken care of
MK attacks DMK and DMK thinks it's hot because he's a freak

Reverse AU - Meet the Teens!
lincoln li-wilson: adopted son of marco and protective ranger of the group. grew up with stories about his other dad and secretly hopes that their journey to save the world will cause them to cross paths. hasn’t had any friends before he met the others due to his and thus will stick by them until the very end.
taylor close-swift (not that one!): son of cassandra and nick and paladin of the group. was taught at home for a majority of his life only to be thrown into the chaos that is public high school. is ready to save the world and face the dangers head on with a bold attitude and a cool sword! that’s what all anime heroes need, right?
formal willow-swallows-garcia: son of sparrow and rebecca, hero’s younger brother, and one of the warlocks of the group. a once chipper-cheery kid until he found out that his dad was never proud of him and became a goth-punk seeker of darkness as a result. doesn’t know why he decided to join the cause of saving the world, but will often say that he did it because he was bored.
terri ‘scary’ marlowe: daughter of veronica, step-daughter of terry jr, and the cleric of the group. is called scary among her peers for her skills as a cheerleader and her role as everyone’s favorite mascot dimas the san dimas demon. decided to help save the world because it’s the right thing to do, although she’s not entirely sure why the boys chose her to be co-leaders with formal’s sister.

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love 💗
Thanks for the ask! For my five:
The Saint’s Blade is definitely my favourite fic, and one of my favourite things I’ve written overall. A series of interconnected stories about Sophia Hess going into another world which worships Worm capes as gods – becoming a paladin – and falling in love in the process. The opportunity to world-build was wonderfully fun, the OC cast great to work with, and it gave an interesting chance to play with Soph’s character to boot.
No Greater Love is the other longer fic from my more recent Worm stuff which I’m proud of, where Taylor gets dropped into a universe where her alter-ego is a Ward, dating Shadow Stalker…and has just been killed in action. I particularly enjoyed writing the aftermath of Taylor’s death in the first chapter, tackling it from three different perspectives – the casualty notification officer, her mom, and her girlfriend – and exploring the nuances as a result.
While I really enjoy a lot of my Legend of Korra and ATLA fic, Kuvira’s Diary in the Advance to Ba Sing Se, 171 AG is one I particularly liked writing. As the title suggests, it is verbatim Kuvira’s diary from the point of leaving Zaofu to her securing Ba Sing Se and being empowered by the other nations to re-unify the Earth Kingdom. Writing an early, not-jaded Kuvira was great fun – particularly as I was able to sow the seeds of what she later became throughout – while the worldbuilding of the Earth Kingdom sinking into anarchy and depredation was an enjoyable exercise.
Balestra, co-written with the wonderful maroon_sweater, was unquestionably the most fun I’ve ever had writing a fanfic. In premise, it was an epistolary enemies to lovers romance inspired by This Is How You Lose The Time War. In execution, it was her and I writing each other condescending hate mail on a daily basis for a month – really quite fantastic. This is only uplifted by the fact that Roon is an incredibly talented writer, deeply and dryly witty in a way which never ceases to impress; trying to keep up with her alone was an engaging challenge.
When We Are Dust, my collection of Worm WW1 AU snippets, is a fic I often go back to read – especially ‘All His Evermore’, about General Hana Kochar of the Kurdish Republic, ‘Inherent to Circumstance’ about Shatterbird, leader of the Arab Revolt, and ‘Et Decorum Est’ about Captain Dean Stansfield in Craiglockhart mental hospital. Translating the characters into the historical setting was an engaging challenge, and the AU fit my penchant for both military detail and big emotional moments. I’m also proud of the writing; the last line, in particular – ‘As for the dead? They remain, fixed and unmoving down the centuries. Like stars, when we are dust.’
Tagging @cpericardium @therealtsk @orangepanic @wishingforatypewriter and @crookedmouth-mountainbones and anyone else who wants to join in!

Paladin World Leader AU
Asta
The Tyrant Lord Of Overwhelming Force, Eliminating All Opposition without mercy
Yuno
The Cardinal Of Atrophy And Destruction, Quietly Influencing Everything With His Words
Mars
The Executioner Who Razes All Who Stand Before Him In Hope Of Creating True Order
Lolopecheka
The Diplomat Who Erases All Who Oppose Her And Her Allies With Horrible Hex’s
Ichika
The General Who Conquers And Unifies All Under The Tyrant With Her Dark Powers
I-
COSMIC????? BRO, WE NEED TO LET YOU COOK MORE OFTEN
I was out walking my dog when I saw this and I almost yelled, I had a vivid idea of what "Villens" world leaders would look but with this you enabled me so fucking bad, this will be the only thing I can think about for the next week and a half holy shit
Ok so I have ideas for this Au, lets say Lucius managed to paladin the WL everything goes to shit and Lucius "wins" but there is a resistants of ppl standing agents him, Asta because of his anti-magic was paladined "wrong" so he has the same beliefs as Lucius but he doesn't think Lucius is up of the task of making a peaceful world. So he frees the others and they fight against Lucius to which they ofc win
So now they are in control, more control then have ever been in. They will fix everything, gods and fait be damned. There friends and families will come to see things the way they do eventually... They just need a "gentle" push in the right direction
Also I can see that they do have devil attributes form what I can guess Lolo with Megiculas, Ichika with Lucifuges, Mars with Baals (Damantios devil), Asta dosn't have one, and Yuno may be with Lucifero but I'm not sure. Also they are definitely a lil Yandari yk as much as an elephants foot lol
#black clover#Black clover Au#Paladin World leaders Au#I love the idea of this#You need to cook more often#Also i can see Noelle being the leader of a residents#bc yk#Those are not her family#They would never even think of this#Which makes me love it more

Ye Olde Blog Directory~
To make it easy to find my stuff, below a list of all fanfics I've written and under the cut, my Tavs/Durges. Spoilers for Dark Urge origin.
WYLLSTARION FANFICS:
Danse Macabre (Ongoing, Mature, Horror): The leader of the party is a Dark Urge, and Wyll finds out in the worst way. TW for Cannibalism, Torture, Death and more.
Five times Wyll spills the jug (and the one time Astarion does) (Oneshot, Gen, Humor): Based on EA Wyll, he puns and drives Astarion mad (yet the elf can't not fuck him oh no).
The Masks We Keep (Oneshot, Gen, Fluff): After Mizora's death, Wyll seeks the mysterious vampire he owes his freedom to.
Blood Drops of Jupiter (Finished, Space AU, Horror/Romance): Wyll encounters a deadly space vampire and wants to help him.
Blades and Daggers (Ongoing, Gen, Various): A series of 100-word drabbles written weekly with prompts!
8 Cups of Blood (Oneshot, Crack, NSFW): An exquisite corpse style of Astarion writing erotica while drunk.
TAVS/DURGES:
Noa
Noa's the most anti-bard bard you'll meet in your life. She can't play an instrument. She can't sing - unless there are many dead, to which she senses their lingering souls and brings forth a song from their collective feelings. But as she refuses to murder, her songs are rare. Such is the blessing of Bhaal.
She is the biggest softie. Everyone fears duergar, but she was never raised among her kin. She struggles with her dark urges, and with the aid of her loved ones she never gives in.
Luckily she's good with Vicious Mockery, as everyone hates her awful puns.
Possible Love Interests: Wyll, Karlach, Barcus Wroot, Aradin (if redeemed)
Coral
Everyone who meets Coral should be afraid of her. When Bhaal says jump, she asks how high. As a paladin, she's devoted to keeping her oath - too bad her oath is carrying out His wish to drown the world in blood.
She is obsessed with saving the world, cleansing it of its sins and saving everyone from the 'curse of life', which she considers to be pure suffering. She sees the world in black and white - you're with her, or against her. And if you're against her, you must die.
Only a few are worthy of fighting with her, and she'll do everything to convince them so.
Possible Love Interests: Minthara, Murder (lots and lots and lots-)
Vilxirajel
Vilxirajel, Vix for friends (they don't have any), is a cocky lightning-infused sorcerer who has never had to work their entire life. When they got kidnapped by the mindflayers, their goal is to eat hot chip, lie, and enable everyone's terrible tendencies. They are lazy to a fault and would sell your soul for a corn chip.
Because their lightning touches everything, they always end up frying their companions. As such no one wants to come close to them, which they prefer. All non-dragonborn are so stinky.
Time will tell if they are redeemable. Most likely not.
Possible Love Interests: Gale, Lae'zel, Barcus Wroot

gotta say, i do wanna hear about your cult leader bard xD
So Kali was originally my Durge Bard Teethling from our Shattered Star Campaign (with @merbleberp!! and @rigbeesknees!!! and I cannot remember Anna's blogname oops) and I missed her so much I had to make her in BG3.
So Kali... boy, how do I start with Kali. So Kali was found by her archeologist parents - her mother was from a very heavy Cleric/Paladins of Sarenrae family and then her mom got caught up in some heavy demon shit, had a Div-Spawn baby, and Kali was abandoned at a temple where her archeologist Pathfinder Society parents found her.
Growing up was complicated. There were a lot of nasty things said about her parents, and while they really meant well, they didn't really understand Kali's brand of... messy headspace.
So Kali went off to school where her mom was teaching, met Meredith's half-orc Wizard, Roz, and went 'This is my new best friend/sister/life partner and she is everything to me'. And Roz was able to teach Kali how to friend properly and not use people.
But you see, Kali is still 'I need to make people want to be around me/love me'. Like she was into this guy, they went on one date that he noped out of, she convinced herself that they were dating, saw him with someone else, and then proceeded to burn his apartment down. She got kicked out of school for that.
So while in our sunday night game, Kali came to discover healing, Sheyln, and the power of friendship and how she doesn't really need to start her own cult/become some BBEG for friendship, it still lingers. (@merbleberp AU where Roz needs to be 100% enabled)
SO IN BG3, this is the world where Kali doesn't remember Roz, she never found the new friends in Fortune's Folly, and her guardian is in the guise of a familiar half-orc that she knows means a lot to her but can't quite place. And she is into her worst impulses but she's not full on bad guy either. She encourages Shadowheart to turn her back on Shar and she supports Astarion's bodily autonomy - she is NOT about being controlled.
And I absolutely thought she was gonna go for Astarion but Gale's Wizard Hubris spoke to the comforting familiarity inside of her and they enable each other.
So now she's off to destroy everyone in the Absolute's Cult because they dared fuck with her, and she will rebuild from the ashes
(no spoilers, pls! I JUST started Act III!)
#oc: kalyani croft#she is no longer in a metal bikini and now is in a cute#formal BG watch uniform that I really love for her#in a world where Kali doesn't have Roz#is a world that is very empty for Kali

so far i don't actually have any planned members of the Power Metal Kings actually worked out so here's a few vague ideas of characters at least associated with them; not NECESSARILY members of the group but possibly forming that group eventually. (Some of these characters are actually part of existing teams, which may mean I could lean harder into the idea that these teams are a lot more fluid and members pass between them freely based on current interests, similar to the way a lot of the Avengers work in classic interpretations of the team; not a core group but people flowing in and out)
Chosen One Cat Heroine: loosely based on some AU ideas I had for She-Ra's Cattra, a catperson who wields a magical sword bound to her soul, and she can draw upon its power to perform incredibly powerful magical feats and weird conceptual stuff based on law, as the sword is the ideal of the Hero-King concept, granting her powers over souls and ideas, though she's reluctant to probe this further. She is apparently the sole surviving member of her species, and despite being chosen for her heroism, compassion and willingness to break herself to save others, she thinks she's unworthy and is only a wielder from process of elimination, and she's the only viable candidate.
She might be from a stable species of mutated cats, or a humanoid species that resembles cats, with individuals resembling different kinds of cats but aren't beastfolk in the setting's sense (is a mutated animal or derived from that animal in some way). Might be fairly small but becomes progressively larger, more powerful and monstrous as she draws upon the sword's power at the cost of having its concepts influence her mind. She may be in a romantic relationship with a gold dragon that is probably also a member of the group.
Shapeshifting Dino Robot Trucker: A large giant robot lady visually inspired by Transformers' Grimlock (a nearly unstoppable powerhouse with a robotic dinosaur form), but her personality is more based off of Beast Wars' Rhinox (highly intelligent and easy going guru AND technical genius) and Tigatron (soft-spoken philosopher exemplifying the boundaries between living beast and sapient machine), and the Teen Titans cartoon take on Cyborg. There have been many robots like her spontaneously arising from non-sapient machines or freeing themselves from servitude, and she's one of several to benefit from a magical empowerment granting transformations and limited shapeshifting; she can transform from a giant robot into a helicopter, a truck/RV, and a robotic t-rex.
Cheerfully bombastic in a low-key way, reluctant to take on a direct role as leader, but she is VERY tight lipped about her origins or where she came from, and she's reluctant to elaborate on the fact that her dinosaur form is the most natural one to take, and is specifically skilled at fighting (and killing) organics. As she is notably uncomfortable and nervous around humans, the speculation is that she had a bad experience with a human supremacist faction that acts as an early antagonist group to deal with.
Animated Plant Hive/Living Armor Paladin: A curious entity who appears to be a massive and clunky suit of living armor, but its not empty; overgrown with plant life, fungi and more, fused into a self-contained ecosystem that has merged with the remnant spirit of the armor and the abandoned memories that once informed its nature, a massive overload of transformative magic altered the plant life and armor, fusing them into a single harmonious whole as spirits, animating energies and lingering memories became a greater All from its component parts
these magical storms are known, and usually cause odd curiousities like floating mountains or localized gravitational shapes in the world, as ideas and concepts within that magic exerts an alteration. Often, it makes destructive monsters. This time, it made a hero.
Technically a hive mind in the sense that the machine spirit of the armor, the individual energies and spirits of the plants within it, and the other spiritual components all synch up to achieve consensus; they (or it, or he, or she) is somewhat innocent in the ways of the world and wandered to rescue cats from trees, direct lost tourists, and other random deeds. They're still figuring themself out and are pretty indifferent on the idea of gender (and doesn't really mind pronouns applied to them, though they are conscientious about it for other people even if the concept seems hard to understand). They are in tune with the spirits of the world, listening to the unseen directives of the world and are guided by them, which can make their behavior a bit odd or random.
Their muscles are plant life and rusted mechanical parts; their heart is an ancient generator and thick veins of sucrose. Their armor body may be power armor of some kind, an ancient guardian robot (or a war machine), or simply an abandoned armor that its installed new parts for out of curiosity. They're a paladin in the magical sense, drawing upon divine power manifested through absolute devotion to their drive to Make Things Better, allowing them to heal, and to destroy when need be.
(It is a very important aspect of their character that their 'body' is as much the plants within the armor as it is the armor itself.)

Hey for ur vld!pjo au id LOVE to know who pilots what Lion and why 👀👀👀
[Also ur initial post and the snippet u wrote have me !!!!!!!]
i Have SO MANY THOUGHTS on who pilots each lion and why.
I have 2 PJO/VLD crossovers already that are ~150 pages each, which I wrote while I was in high school. In one of them, Percy pilots Black, Jason pilots Blue, Leo pilots Green, Frank pilots Yellow, and Nico pilots red. I feel like that's a pretty basic line-up, TBH. In the other one, everything is the same except Jason and Percy are swapped.
I don't like those dynamics anymore, though, and I think there's some WAY more interesting stuff that can be done.
I think Annabeth should be Allura, right off the bat, though. NO matter what, that role fits her best, to me. She's the knowledgable princess who is the heart and center of this war, she is the reason there is a fight to be had in opposition at all. Without her, Camp Voltron doesn't exist.
Jason makes sense as Black paladin to me - the one who was always made to be the leader, pushed himself despite all the potential reasons not to (for Shiro, it being his illness. For Jason, it being a fundamental rift between who he actually is versus who the world thinks he should be). The one who wants to be a mentor and a helper for everyone, the one who gives everything to save the others. Shiro throwing himself into the ring as the Gladiator, the Champion, so Matt didn't have to? Exactly like Jason dying so Piper didn't have to. To me, that one is a no brainer.
The rest is where I get pretty iffy. I like Percy as Blue because, duh. But I think he would also be a good Red. He's impulsive, his plans aren't always thought out and usually he charges in knowing he has power to back him up, and nothing else. I wouldn't necessarily call him hot headed, but he definitely isn't the type to just roll over and accept whatever leadership tells him to do. This is the dude who snuck out of camp to go after quests, the dude who blew up a volcano, Percy as Red just makes sense to me.
I know Nico is usually slotted in as red because Keith, but I almost see Nico either as not a pilot at all, or as a Blade member gone AWOL. Maybe he tags along when the Earth crew goes after Jason because he knew Jason, Jason was the only human he trusted. It's not like at that point they would know that they'll be piloting the lions, right? Or, maybe Nico DOES know about the lions, but holds that information to himself, because he thinks that maybe, just maybe, he's finally found the people who can help him swing the war. Because that's how Nico is - he operates as a one-man army, trying to take everything into his hands, pull all of the strings.
I have a lot of different ideas for how Nico could go in a VLD crossover, TBH. He could be half Altean, half Galra, like Lotor. He could be a version of Coran's character. He could be the red paladin who inevitably leaves because he feels the team doesn't trust him, thinks he's a freak, the red paladin who doesn't come back. Reyna could be a Blade, maybe the one who saves Jason, the one who recognizes the Galra in Nico. There are so many options!
I almost like Frank in Coran's role, because he gets to be meek and timid to a point but also knowledgeable. Plus, I feel like canon PJO Frank didn't really love fighting? And I could see him-as-Coran having an interesting history 1) with Annabeth, he sees her as a friend and maybe even a sister, because they were raised together and all that and 2) Maybe he knew the Galra, and was friends with a lot of them before everything changed (thinking along the lines of, the Galra being the Romans. Like, Octavian as Sendak kind of thing. Some of the gods/goddesses being other high power Galra, like maybe some corrupted versions of Jupiter and Juno are Haggar and Zarkon. I DID just almost put Zoloft instead of Zarkon.)
I love Hazel as Green, which might be due to my recent fondness for the transfem!Pidge headcanon. I headcanon Hazel as being a trans woman ever since hockey AU. I also think that Hazel has an interesting connection with Jason (Romans) and Nico (siblings) like Pidge does to Shiro and Keith - even though they don't all exactly align, I still like the parallels. Pidge sees Shiro as an older brother - Hazel sees Jason as an older mentor figure who, in my HC, she becomes genuine friends with through Nico. And then, Pidge has a fondness for Keith because they canonically both feel like outcasts and whatnot, and, obviously, Hazel and Nico in canon are the underworld siblings together. There's some interesting stuff to be done with the whole, Hazel and Nico but also Nico and Bianca and all that.
Plus, if Hazel is part Galra too, then that means Nico doesn't have to be on Voltron, he could just be a Blade. Because we can have Hazel as the "omg we have a Traitor Among Us" and the camera pans over and it's 5 foot shit Hazel with a dagger and space buns.
Also Galra Hazel??? HEllo??? how has no one done this before I'm barking.
....omfg HAZEL as Red???? HELLO????
AS FOR YELLOW. I mean .Leo. come on. He's the comic relief, he's the mechanic, he's the fourth wall breaker and the one who eats all the weird shit and fantasizes about getting home so he can make and eat homemade meals. Y'know? Like, it just makes sense to me. Plus the we get the fun dynamic of a Lance-like character being in even LESS of a position of "power" in the team, because he's NOT the sharpshooter, he's NOT the second in command. He's just...Leo. The seventh wheel. He wants to be more but he doesn't know how.
Piper is another option for a bunch of roles, too. I could see her fitting in as Green, of course, but she could definitely also fit as, say, Coran's role, the role of one of the blades, maybe even as one of the reoccurring characters like Shay or Nyma. I think there could be a way to work Piper in as Red, but that would have to be in an AU where Jason Leo and Piper are The Main Trio, versus what I'm aiming for here with Annabeth Percy Nico and Jason being the main Group.
(My Jercabethico agenda lives on.)
I'm trying to think of other characters I would give important roles to. TBH I think any other remainders it would depend on the story - like, Luke could be Zarkon in some of these AUs, whereas in others he might be Lotor (misguided with a crazy mom and an absent/abusive father??? bro). And in some maybe he's Sendak, or he's his own insane antagonist that doesn't have anything to do with the original VLD bros.
And then there's like, the rest of the gods. Who are they, what are they doing? Hades and the other underworld Cast would absolutely be Blades or Galra of some flavor. But what about Aphrodite? or Poseidon? Are they perhaps the leaders of other planets?
(Does this give us the opportunity to make everybody aliens???)
SO ANYWAY. These are my word-vomit thoughts on VLDPJO crossover. They are subject to change and also I might immediately forget about all of this as soon as I hit post. But just know that right now I FULLY believe in this. Hell yeah.
#asks!#pjo#vld#pjo/vld crossover#jason grace#nico di angelo#percy jackson#leo valdez#hazel levesque#annabeth chase#frank zhang#this was so fun to ponder fuck yeah
