I’m Damn Mad About Love Anymore

It shines its way into your life and just hangs around      almost preventing any kind of personal accomplishments

The anxiety alone caused by it is plainly harmful      virtually disqualifying any personal goal attainment.

It’s disappointing in the long tun, this love we crave. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t been more unhappy since they      decided to allow being overruled by this love. I can’t say that love is all bad, for it does ‘feel’ good      but only during its good moments, and if the truth be      known, there are really less good than mediocre-to-bad.

I’m damn mad about love anymore.

It slices a piece of your emotional securities      turning you into a zombie-like psychological mess.

The pain alone caused by it is plainly harmful      practically causing retreat from the human race.

It’s debilitating in the long run, this love we crave. There’s just no such thing as the perfect couple for any      longer than it takes to learn how he dislikes his coffee. I can’t say that love is al bad, for it does “feel” good      but I’ll be damned before I’ll allow some good feeling      to make the decisions about my limits as a growing man.

I’m damn mad about love anymore.

I do not wish to dwell in the love I have felt so boundless, like the ocean's deep, that I got drowned near to dying. I do not long for a place with you that only breeds finite wounds that will forsooth a lifetime's fault setting apart you and me.

My love, I knew, we will never be able to exchange genuine smiles whenever we stumble upon each other on a cold february night without recollecting the erstwhile moments of shedding tears, regretful pleas, hateful excuses and shameful, drunken curses to one another. It was dreadful thus, I should let it all go— including you.

I will turn my back. I will move myself away from where you lie, but would never harbor any disdain for you because even though our love came into melancholia, I truly believe that ours was forever, but only halted; fearing pain and heartbreaks that we have already felt even before our story started.
