My first ever WIP Wednesday!

“Didn’t mean to hurt you, Babe,” said Eddie. “You okay there?”

“Never better.” Steve shrugged. Meanwhile, Eddie unwound his arms from Steve, took a step back. Cool as ice, he shut the barred door between them, and snapped a padlock closed.

“What the...?”

The reality of the situation splashed into Steve, like a bucket of water waking him from a freaky—okay, also smokin’ hot—dream. He shoved his fist through the bars, grabbed the front of Eddie’s t-shirt: “What the hell you playing at, Munson?”

“Just wanted to see how you look. In my lil’ den. With the rest of my pretty stash.”

“Open the goddamn door.” Steve’s voice sounded strange, small. “This real t-twisted shit.” Why was he stammering? He gritted his teeth. “I’ll punch you so hard! This is beyond a joke, man.”

Eddie reached through the bars, grazed his knuckles down the shallow stubble on Steve’s cheek. “Shhhhhssssss.”

The sound trailed off into a hiss, and Steve was… Shit, he didn’t want to fight. He’d still gotten a hold of Eddie’s t-shirt and his fist trembled.

“You’re safe here,” murmured Eddie. “You’ll be safe here at last. I promise you, Steve. I promise.”

Steve’s grip on Eddie loosened and his arm fell away. He should be punching Eddie, grabbing the key, running from this place like he’d got a demogorgon was on his tail.

He wasn’t.

Blood Moon Ch.4

Pairing: Syverson x Annalisa (OFC)

Warning: They get naked. Mostly.

Sy could feel the music of the club in his chest as they pulled up, Annalisa having invited him to come along. It wasn't his scene, but he wanted to be around her, even if she was working. They were both dressed simply, Sy still in his tshirt and jeans, Annalisa wearing a dark button up and flouncy black skirt that hit her mid thigh. They stuck out among the leather and fishnet of the other patrons as they wove through them towards the bar, Annalisa holding his fingers behind her.

“Ethan!” She called out as they reached it and the bartender came over. “This is Sy. His drinks are comped.”

“You got it, boss.” Ethan said.

“I have to work, but I'm not abandoning you, I promise.” She said, turning to him and he pulled her in, his hands at her low back.

“I know.” He said, “And just so you know.” He leaned in, his lips moving over her cheek to her ear. “I love you in this skirt.”

“We'll explore just how much later.” She said and he grinned, pulling back only so much to press his lips to hers, feeling her fingers at his neck.

“Go make that money.” He said and she pressed another quick kiss to his lips before pulling away, disappearing through the crowd.

“And now I know why you got the VIP treatment.” Ethan said with a snort.

“She do that a lot?” Sy asked, sliding onto a stool, but he shook his head.

“You're the only one I know of.” He said, “What can I get you?”

"What does Annie usually get?" Sy asked after a moment's pause.

"Captain Morgan and Mountain Dew." Ethan said and Sy arched a brow at him, making him shrug. "She says it tastes like cream soda. Don't see how though."

"Fuck it, why not. Captain Morgan and Mountain Dew." Sy said and Ethan moved away to make his drink, coming back with a short stout glass filled with the electric green soda. Giving it a cursory sniff, he could smell the sugary soda and the spiced rum before taking a sip. "Well, damn."

"What?"

"Cream soda." Sy said and took another sip.

“Hold on a second.” Ethan said with a scowl and Sy snorted as he moved away, coming back with a glass of his own. “Cheers.” He took a sip from the glass, his lip ring clinking against it. “Motherfucker.”

Sy scrolled through his phone as he leaned back against the bar facing the club, Ethan checking on him now and then, getting him a fresh drink when he wanted one. Though he did switch to water after a couple more ��cream sodas”.

“Well, you look out of place.” He heard and looked over, seeing the woman who had slid up to the bar next to him, taking in her shiny pvc corset over a fishnet shirt, her skirt just barely passing decency in length but the thigh high boots made up for that.

“Not really my speed.” Sy said, going back to his phone, his water bottle hanging from his fingers.

“You here alone?” She asked, running dark clawed fingernails over his arm.

“Back off, Sweeney.” Ethan said, “He's with Annalisa.”

“Oh, I'm sure she won't mind.” Sweeney said and he looked her over again, seeing the ruby string choker around her neck, a few teardrop rubies falling down her skin. Sweeney. As in Sweeney Todd. “You're not her usual fare, I'll say that, but a little variety never hurt anyone.”

“Sweeney.” Ethan said, his tone warning.

“Nothing wrong with wanting a taste, Ethan.” Sweeney said, “Goth gets boring, haven't had cowboy in far too long.”

“Yeah?” Sy asked, “Well, I'm not on the menu.” The laugh she gave was sultry but it just made his jaw clench.

“If you're worried about upsetting the Lady Caulfield, don't be.”

“Sweetheart,” Sy said, sliding off the stool and turning towards her, “Take the fuckin' hint.”

“You're rough.” Sweeney said, reaching out to lay her hand on his chest. “I—”

“Sweeney!” Her hand ripped away as Annalisa came up to them. “Walk away.”

“Annalisa, I—” All her seductive confidence was gone and she couldn't seem to even look at her.

“Now.” Sweeney vanished among the club goers and Annalisa sighed, sliding an arm around his waist. “Sorry about that. Sweeney is...Sweeney.”

“Don't worry about it babe.” Sy said, turning towards her, seeing the healthy flush to her cheeks. “Work over?”

“Yeah,” She said, “And this music is giving me a headache. Head back to my place?”

“Yeah.” He said with a nod.

“Ethan, thanks for taking care of him.”

“Anytime, he's a cool dude.” Ethan said and Sy twisted, holding out a fist and getting a bump in return. With his arm over her shoulders, they left the club, heading back to her SUV in the employee parking lot.

“Not your usual fare, huh?” He asked as they got in, Annalisa behind the wheel.

“What?” She asked as she started the truck.

“Somethin' Sweeney said.” Sy said, “She said I ain't your “usual fare”.”

“Sweeney needs to stay in her own lane.” She said as they pulled away, heading down the street. “But she was right, in a way. I'm around people of that scene most of the time so my partners tend to be members of it. It's not preference, Sy, it's just who I'm around.”

“Like Eugene?”

“How—”

“Sugar, I know an ex when I see one.” Sy said, “The spyin' on ya “for your safety”, droppin' by when a call woulda done it.”

“It was a long time ago, and it ended a long time ago.” She said, “He was controlling and overprotective so I dumped him.”

“You still went into business with'im.”

“That's business.” She said, “And I don't mix my work life with my personal life. Yes, Eugene and I were together. Again, a long time ago. I have absolutely no interest in being so again.”

“Yeah, he does.” She said, “And if he doesn't, he'll get it eventually.” She pulled in front of his truck in the circular driveway and turned off the engine, undoing her seat belt so she could turn in her seat to look at him. “Sy, what we have is new, but I'm with you. I'm not with Eugene, and I have no interest in being with Eugene ever again. I'm with you. I met your ex when I met you. Would you ever go back to her?”

“Fuck no.”

“Exactly.” Annalisa said, “Now let's go inside.”

“You have some insecurities.” She said, “Not surprising given the how and why your last relationship ended. I'm not holding it against you. I understand. Shall we head inside now? Or do you have to head home?"

"Nah, I got nothin' there waitin' on me." He said and they got out of her truck, heading into the house. Going up behind her, he slid his hands around her waist, pulling her closer. "Want me to show you how much I love this skirt?"

"What happened to being jealous and suspicious?" She asked and he shrugged.

i am so so SO curious as to how u made your mensis cage it looks absolutely fantastic (i wanna eventually make my own too :])

Woz's Mensis Cage DIY (Feat. Valtr's helmet)

It was a lot of trial & error— we used a combo of wood dowels and pvc pipes for the bars, tho in retrospect having em all in pvc woulda been lighter 🥲

Base and top are made from foam! We don't have craft foam where I live so we used the foam from those puzzle playmats for toddlers, and layered them to the right thickness

Lots of dremel work to sand out the edges��had to cut all of em w an exacto knife

We glued them together with contact cement and filled the gaps with caulk, then dremel again

Also drilling holes for the bars + the top

Behold. Gay mensis cage

We also started on Valtr's helmet! It was really floppy foam so we sandwiched some chipboard between two pieces to make it stiff

top is leftover playmat foam that we cut just enough so it fits snugly

Tried not to use a lot of contact cement and more regular glue here bc fumes

Primed the cage!!! (also the helmet once it dried)

Used hot glue to seal remaining cracks + smooth "foamy" places

Sprayed silver paint as the base then weathering w acrylics

Used a sponge + brushed black paint to simulate soot/rust, esp corners + edges

Tried to also get the inside. used my hands to make it look spotty + dirty

Chain link is made out of foam! We made em seperately.

Valtr's belt buckle is an old button pin we repainted. Mensis bolts are just round buttons that we sanded the back off.

Didn't have time to make Valtr's belt lantern but a pipe did the trick. The lantern top was made of foam

To connect the chains to the cage we cut one side then fed it thru the hole. Since it's foam, it's pretty flexible. We reconnected it with hot glue and it's like good as new

The fun thing abt hot glue is that if you paint over it, it looks like welding :] perfect for the cage

Tadaaaa

All the rust details is acrylic. Black then brown then bright orange

Brushing them into the corners n crevices really helped sell the look! Especially the water stains on top/under the holes

Anyway ya that's it!! Thanks for reading :]

I learned a lot from this.

We started the cage Aug 6 and finished quite literally the morning of the con, Sept 17. Worked only weekends tho bc we had day jobs

It's not heavy for me personally, tho I would def recommend using pvc instead

Feel free to substitute the materials with whatever you have available in your area, and please take into account the total weight of it + the robes! I live in a tropical country so I had to make sure the fabrics were light + breathable enough, and that the cage wasn't too heavy to walk around in for long amounts of time.

Part five

Jacquline entered the office, it was 4pm

“Ladies you can pack up for the day now, thank you for help and enthusiasm today, I’ll see you all in the morning”

The women all got their stuff together, wished their boss a good evening and left the office.

Jacquline turned to the four men, who were all on their knees and looking at her with some trepidation.

“You four follow me” she strode off with the slaves crawling quickly behind her.

The men in the cages looked on with some pity, know what life was going to be like for their new companions.

After they had all finished and had a drink from a larger bowl containing water and then Jacquline spoke again.

“Now follow me and I’ll show you your new homes” she made her way across to the cages, one of the pvc clad women opened a cage door on the bottom level “ok pop yourself in and get comfortable” she said to Chris. He crawled in and the door closed behind him. The cages were about 4’ long, 3’ high and 3’ deep, there were no mats or cushion on the bottom just bare bars, Chris soon realised he would be up close and personal with his fellow captives as the man’s arse in the cage above him was inches away from his face.

One by one the others were all locked up until all 16 cages were occupied.

Jacquline spoke again “very good, now myself and the girls are going for something to eat, we’ll be back a little later for some fun evening entertainment” and with that she walked to the lift followed by the two nurses and the two assistants, their heeled boots clicking on the floor. As the lift doors closed the basement lights went off and they were left in complete darkness. It was quiet for a minute or two then a voice said “hello I’m Dave, are you new guys all ok” there were a few mumbles and then Scott spoke “no I’m not ok, what the fuck is going on here, I’ve been tied to a bench and basically raped all afternoon and my cock is still stiff as a board”

In the 1970s, polybutylene plumbing pipes were being touted as the future of plumbing because they were light and durable plus worked well with existing metal pipes and some plastics. They were sold under names such as Qest [pronounced and sometimes spelled “quest”] and QickTite.

Thing is, polybutylene plastic reacts to minerals and chemicals in the water, causing them to eventually lose their integrity. The manufacturers had several class action lawsuits filed against them in the 1980s and 1990s over the hundreds of millions of dollars failing pipes had cost consumers, and in 1995 they were banned in American building codes. (You can still get them, apparently, but you’re barred from new home construction with them.)

The place where I work, which has been around since the 1940s, has a box of 30-year-old odds and ends in case anyone comes in looking for any -- and about twice a year, indeed, someone asks if we have a replacement piece.

Schedule vet visit for Edison- he has a cold or allergies or something, also a growth on one of his toes??, and I want to really in-depth discuss a plan for his weight bc ive had no success. Also he's due for annual vaccinations presumably, so. (Wish blue pearl was not so expensive bc they now have Fear Free vet visits and the difference in his behavior when we went there last time compared to other vets weve gone to was just amazing. He was able to wander around the room and it didn't feel like a typical exam room for pets so he wasn't scared and hiding, he allowed the vet and assistant to poke and prod him and manhandled him even if he wasn't thrilled, he didn't cry or hiss or scratch anyone! But for regular vet visits they're really pricey :/)

Request refund for the dumb add-on I didn't realize was useless. Make the website what I want it to be. May need to learn coding. Consolidate that info together to decide on a basic budget for each category/ overall spending for the time period.
