szóval az úgy volt, hogy aszonta a barátom nekem sms-ben, hogy gyere el a koncertre, ráteszlek a vip-listára. Sose voltam még vip listán, és annak ellenére, hogy a jóember nem kifejezetten az én műfajomban pendlizik, meg úgyse járok sehova, gondoltam ez vicces lesz. Sőt, ha már ennyi év alatt sem érintett meg az Aucklandi éjszakai (underground?) világ, ne csak velem történjen, elhívtam a lányom, aki már mehet kocsmába. Óvatosságképpen megnéztem a khm, venue weboldalát is, ott azt állították, hogy kb. 50 ember fér be, de erről majd később.

Szóval fogtuk magunkat és elsuhantunk a festői Pt. Chevalierbe, annak is a dodgy részébe (a többi része az rendben van, sőt egy része kifejezetten pijo), ahol ez a vendéglátóipari helység egyből a pékség mellett szolgál szórakozóhelyül az értő közönség számára.

Azt megszokja az ember, hogy itt mindenki úgy néz ki ahogy csak bír, úgyhogy nagyon kevés dolog lepi meg, és a közönség itt is változatos volt, ami nem baj persze, sőt. A hely egy bárpultból áll meg az utcán van kiülős része, belül meg hát... amit a képen látsz, abba az állítólagos ötven emberbe beleértendő a zenekar által elfoglalt rész is.. Mivel a formáció még nem tart ott mint az AC/DC, a közönség jobbára hozzátartozók és barátok voltak de legalább otthonos volt az egész hörgős-zúzós-csirkedarálós metál. A zene is sokkal jobb volt mit amire felkészültem lélekben btw.

Aztán hazafele a gyerekkel azon morfondíroztunk, hogy melyik is volt az un. peak moment-je az estének, amikor az énekes úr Nerf gunokat osztott ki a közönségnek és magának, majd dalolgatás közben ő, a pultos néni és a műélvezők egymást lövöldözték a kis szivacsizékkel (bevallom erről videóm is van), vagy az amikor az énekes úr - aki akkora már félmeztelenre hörögte magát - felmászott a bárpultra és onnan ordított a közönségre (ahol ács kollégái pogóztak békésen) miközben a pultos néni szemrebbenés nélkül, faarccal keverte a koktélokat a zord hardcore rajongóknak és szeretteiknek. Kiváló időtöltés volt.

Been away all day, so I guess it's time for a long catch up post.

25 March, what did I miss since my morning, I missed the JM live, post.

Before I move away from that live, which I have not yet seen in full, let's just drop this here, the one thing I did see and notice. Let's call it the shy giddy mush JM turns into when he's talking/thinking about JK, or in other words - The JK effect.

I guess I'll start with the Jimmy Fallon performance.

My emotions: the song as a whole embodies the lyrics, it has this very floaty kind of sound that isn't quite text painting but it's the best way I can describe it

Very smooth as an intro and a fitting start to the album

The humming blends in with the organ? I'm a fan

2:52 in IOMT has "Ooh, ooh" that matches the spooky and dark tones in this

I listened to the previews but those piano chords are suddenly more jarring and sound very dissonant after the humming in the first half which definitely suits the mood

I need help trying to figure out what the looping vocal in the beginning is saying

Jongho for the pre-chorus?? 

Seonghwa right after Jongho is so interesting because this man's voice is like a chameleon and I like how it changes between songs

Listening to IOMT after the first 2 tracks is the way to go; the chorus backtrack is pretty laid back even with the strings and percussions so it might otherwise be jarring when the chorus starts (sorry if I get terms wrong, I don't know music production)

And I can't leave out the mafia vibes!! (Some ATINYs are saying Peaky Blinders too)

Yeosang embodies the mistress of the manor at 2:28 with the umbrella hahaha

According to personal taste, this song is easily #2 in the ranks

"I'll walk into these flames if it's with you": obsessive love? I liked "Desire" from TREASURE: EP 2 so this is right up my alley

Both songs have very similar imagery in their lyrics as well 

The doubling/unison during the chorus- especially for "I got no way"- makes me so happy!! The fullness pushes the themes of yearning/a crazy kind of love

Interestingly for “I got no way”, the song builds right before with the rap section, and right after they hit us with “I got no way”, the beat drops and the chorus comes through

Selfish Waltz

Honestly, I was itching for someone to do a pair dance to this ever since I saw “GH pt. 2 Preview” and now I'm even more convinced 

Searching up the meaning of waltz (“to roll or revolve”), the song is about a love that feels like a war because the relationship seems to never go anywhere since they keep circling back to arguing even when they say they love each other

I am a sucker for ballads and listening to the previews I knew it was going to get stuck in my head

Lee Mujin service with San??? Yeah it solidified itself as a solid 10/10 and #1 in my heart

I hesitate to post the ideas for this headcanon anywhere publicly because then I'm less likely to write them... but I am going to say that, for this fic idea, I needed a doctor mastermind who could manipulate Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker into doing his physical therapy via psychological torment. And idk enough about Star Wars post Order 66 characters, so I was like "-sigh- I'm gonna have to OC this bitch, aren't I?"

TTU is a song that carries a lot of emotions and it's very well executed by BTS. The vocal line surely knows how to change their mood during songs and I applaud them for their professionalism. Ok okay, but I'm still not gonna deny that jk cracked up when Jin didn't hit his note well 😭💜 (my JINKOOK heart)
