Chapter One: Paebaek

“Lookit!” Bart exclaimed as I walked down the aisle. I held back a laugh as I stopped to wave at him. He climbed out of his seat, and Meloni tried to catch him, but I beckoned him. A wedding doesn’t have to be perfect. I learned that the first time. Bart approached me and showed me his hanbok. He twirled around and grinned at me. “Grandma tied mine… Who tied yours?” 

I took his hand, smiling as I pointed to my mom. “My mommy tied mine,” I answered, “Do you want to walk with me?” Bart nodded. He and my father escorted me down the aisle and gave me away. I’ll never forget that. Dad removed my veil and kissed my cheek, leaving me with Bart and Wally. The officiant recited a poem, introduced us, and allowed us to say our vows. 

Wally went first. “When I wrote my vows the first time, I heard a song that made me toss out everything I wrote… Um, there’s a line in it. It goes, ‘And even when I’m old and grey/ I’m gonna feel the way I do today,’ and I sat there imagining you with grey hair and wrinkles. I saw myself old with you. I—.” Wally exhaled, and his eyes welled up with tears. “I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wanna grow old with you and feel young with you. I don’t wanna wake up to any face other than yours. Every day won’t be perfect, but I know we belong together. 

“I wouldn’t feel complete without you… I can’t after knowing you. I can’t un-know you. I can’t un-feel what I feel for you. You are woven into every fiber of my being, Linda…

“And I’m so glad you’re here. I’m so overwhelmed that I chose you, and you chose me in return. I’m the luckiest man alive.” Tears streamed down his cheeks and mine, and we reached to wipe them away. 

I couldn’t remember what the officiant said to transition to me and my vows, but I remember being so choked up I couldn’t get my words out. I sobbed shamelessly in front of our families, and Bart tugged my skirt, pouting. “It’s—. It’s o-okay,” I hyperventilated, “I’m crying because I’m happy.” I picked Bart up and held him on my hip. 

“Wally, I always thought when I met the one, I’d know it the second it happened, but you changed my outlook on life. I couldn’t stand you when we met—.” Wally nodded and laughed. “But, I’ll—. Hear me out. I’ll never love anyone like I love you now. I don’t worry when we’re apart because I know you’ll return.

“You’re nothing like I thought you’d be and better than any man I could’ve imagined for myself. Wally… Forever started the moment we met… I have to believe it was fate. And I’m so glad fate brought us together.” 

The officiant said the final words that I waited for. Meloni came and took Bart, and I kissed my husband. That was an unforgettable experience. Then we did the paebaek ceremony. I explained to Wally that we didn’t have to do it, but he insisted. He served wine to my parents and I served Barry and Iris. I let Bart sit on my lap while he drank his juice from a sippy cup. “Are you having fun?” I whispered. Bart grinned at me.

“Can we do this again next year?” Bart asked. Wally laughed. 

“Next year it’ll be our anniversary,” Wally replied. 

“And we’ll have a big party,” I added. We finished our glasses. My parents and his aunt and uncle gave us envelopes with cash, and they threw the chestnuts and dates. Then, Wally carried me, my mother, and Iris on his back around the table. That was his favorite part. And of course, I took Bart around the table so he wouldn’t feel left out. 

Bart’s favorite part was the meal during the reception. It gave Wally and I some time to talk. “I know you said you didn’t want me to get you a gift. I know that’s what you told me… But I saw you looking at this months ago, and it wouldn’t feel right to start our marriage without it,” Wally whispered as he reached into his pocket and stood behind me. “Close your eyes.” I obeyed as I felt him put a necklace on me. 

I opened my eyes and touched the necklace, looking at the infinity necklace with two red stones on either side of a diamond on a sterling silver chain. “Wally,” I smiled. He sat beside me, stroking the line of my jaw with his finger. 

“I had it altered, so our birthstones are on either side of the center diamond. If you don’t like it—.” 

“I love it. Thank you, Wally,” I whispered.

We left the reception early to get started on our drive. We rented an RV, packed our gifts, and went on our way. I went to sleep in the bedroom while Wally drove, but he woke me up after four hours saying Don and Meloni couldn’t find Bart. “We should go back and help look for him,” I replied, slipping pajama pants on underneath my night dress.

“We’re four hours away—.” 

“He’s your cousin, Wally. I’d feel responsible if anything happened to him,” I interrupted. I chewed my lip. “You don’t think—. Oh god, Wally.” I broke down and cried. 

Then, Wally did something out of his character… He shushed me. I sniffed and scowled at him. Before I could speak, I heard a yawn followed by a smacking noise. Wally held up his pointer finger as he looked under the bed. “You little—. Get out of there,” Wally growled. 

“No! I want Linda!” Bart shouted. I looked over the edge of the bed and met eyes with Bart. 

“Hi there, cutie pie—.” 

“Why’d you go and marry him?” Bart pouted. I chuckled. 

“If I didn’t marry Wally, you wouldn’t be my cousin. Wanna come out and sit with me? I promise Wally won’t bite,” I reassured him. Wally frowned at me, and I held a finger up to my lips to keep Wally quiet. Bart lay on his stomach and reached for me, and I pulled him out from under the bed. He climbed up with me and sat on my lap. “What are you doing here? You had everyone worried sick, Bart.” 

“I didn’t mean to… I mean—. I kinda did. Mommy said you were going away for a lot of days,” Bart mumbled. 

“Fourteen,” I replied, holding up one finger on my left hand and four on my right. “Two Saturdays.” 

“That’s forever,” Bart whimpered. I held his little hands in mine and nodded. 

“Wally, he has a point. Two Saturdays is a long time… And we’re four hours out already,” I playfully pouted. “Do you think we could let him tag along for a few days?”

“Linda—.” 

“Wally,” I interrupted. He sighed and called Don. 

“Hi, Don… We’ve got a little stowaway on board… And Linda had an idea since we’re four hours away… Do you wanna pick Bart up next week? We could put him on a flight home or—?” No don’t worry. Linda’s crazy about Bart… Yeah… Yeah! That’s fine. We’ll do that… That means so much, Donny. Thanks. Bye,” Wally whispered. He hung up, ran a hand through his hair, and sighed. “Bart, Donny’s gonna let you go to Santa Cruz with us. He’s gonna wire cash for you to play with us.” 

I lifted Bart over my head and carried him on my shoulders. “Yay!” I shouted. Bart giggled, wrapping his hands around my forehead for balance. And that was that. Honeymoon party of three!

JOE POV:

Everything was perfect. I had the perfect wife, perfect job and an amazing son.  Our life was perfect. 

Until he came. 

He was new to Madre Linda. He was young and ( tall,short, regular.) He never made an effort to talk to the other neighbors, only talking to them if he's spoken to or absolutely necessary. He lives alone but has multiple strange animals. Like snakes, way too many cats and dogs,birds, rats, raccoons, ferrets and fish. 

 Love and I watch him almost everyday to see is he a threat to break this “Peaceful and loving community”.  He sticks to a routine only breaking it to go to a neighbors party or event. In the morings he usually goes on a run for thirty five minutes and stops on the second when it is past thirty five. Then he’ll go back home and let his land animals walk around the yard for their fitfhteen minutes of play time. After that he goes back inside to eat and feed the pets.

Now it's work time. 

He hires a sitter most of the time, male but sometimes female. Once he gets the sitter ready and double checks with his animals he leaves for J/n. By the time he comes back it's about 10:10 on the dot. Sitter leaves with Y/n walking them to the door with a smile. And the smile disappears fairly quickly as they sitter gets into their car.  

Today

Sherry and Cary had this great idea to have the biggest house party in the neighborhood. To which the whole neighborhood agreed too and all went. But I didn’t expect that He was gonna be here as well. Which surprised everyone that he brought a lovely man with him named Ken. 

Love and I watched Y/n and Ken every single second of the party. Every few minutes Y/n will whisper something in Ken's ear about someone in the party. From Ken's reaction it had to be the most craziest and dark secret about them.

Y/n looks at his phone and doesn't spare a glance at Ken leaving the party. Ken quickly follows like a lost puppy making me scoff.

I turn to Love and she's busy talking to her so-called friends. I quickly exit the party going to my car and start it and turn the headlights off. I begin to drive slowly behind not drawing too much attention.

The couple walks to Y/n house without sharing any conversation. Once they get there Y/n opens the door for Ken who kisses his cheek as a thank you. I clench my jaw tightly and park my car somewhat away from his house.

3RD POV

"You are one lucky man Ken" Y/n says to him once he gets in the house leaving the door unlocked. "Really? How so Y/n?~" Ken asked seductively unbuttoning his dress shirt.

“Well it's simple most people never see an ecosystem this big and diverse in one house!” Y/n shouts with Enthusiasm smiling ear to ear to finally talk about someone beside the pet sitter about his animals. Ken lets out a fake ohhh. Y/n turns his face around to see Ken that's naked on his couch. “Before you get the wrong idea, I do have a license to own them. Don’t want you to think i’m some porcher.” 

“Come eat, girls and boys!” Y/n shouts walking to the kitchen and getting an axe from behind the fridge. 

Joe watches multiple animals leave their rooms upstairs hiding in the closest watching them pass. The house became silent for a while with only a few dogs barks. 

Joe slips out of the closet looking for an escape. He finds an open window and begins to approach it but gets stopped by a harsh hand on his shoulder. There Is Ken holding onto Joe for his life. Blood everywhere and bite marks and tiny holes from the bird's beak littered on his body and one of his eyes was missing also his other hand that looked like it was chopped off.

Joe uses all of his strength to push Ken off of him and makes a b-line to the window but gets bounced back from a strong chest. Joe hand springs to his neck gasping for air hitting the snake that is slowly suffocating him.

“That's Jane! She's a Boas constrictor. She's such a good hugger.” Joe's legs begin to buckle and his face turns a slight purple. “Just say the word and I'll help you.” Joe tries to speak but nothing comes out making Y/n laugh.

“Jane off.” The large snake immediately loses her grip and slither off the semi-purple man. “You remind me of my rats. Quiet and mysterious listening when you don’t expect anyone to listen. You don’t spread diseases and damage like them. You bring death and tragedy.” You walk up to Joe picking him up, taking him to the bird room and using one of the chains putting them on his wrist trapping him in the room.

“When you are well rested, You will help me out with the animals then text your wife your gonna be gone for a few days maybe weeks even. FyI this is the bird habitat so pray they don't poke your eyes out or something goldberg~"

"I think me and you are gonna be one great couple once Love is out of the way.~ Maybe i'll be your new Love or beck who knows?"

The goth older sister

Elysia’s Pov:

I stood in front of the old sign that says ‘Welcome to south park’, I sighed and grabbed my handbag out of my car before starting my walk down the road, looking around I noticed that nothing has changed and that it’s still the shitty old town I used to live in.

As I’m looking around I see a few parents covering their young children’s eyes and a few of the other children staring at me with either disgust or amazement, I simply smile and give them a polite wave before looking back ahead and continuing my journey to my old home. You may ask why I’m coming back to my old home well then allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Elysia Stotch, and I’m here to collect my younger brother as I’ve heard in his letters to me…well the ones I assume he was able to send before mother and father got to them, that they are still the horrible people they once were to me but oh butters…sweet innocent butters always seeing the good in people even if they are down right horrible people.

I stopped at the stairs of my old home before picking up the ends of my skirt and holding it up as I walked up the few steps we had, I let go of the velvet fabric and raise a hand to knock on the door, once I knocked I heard my mothers voice.

“Coming!” She sounded so sweet, I see she’s still keeping up this perfect wife facade, she opened the door ready to greet the person but froze when she saw me”

“Hello mother, long time no see”

Linda’s pov:

“Hello mother, long time no see” she said.

I froze, no this isn’t possible we had kicked her out a couple of years ago all because of how she is!, I felt her gently push me aside stepping into the house. I quickly shut the door before anyone could see this freak in my home!

“Well I see nothing has changed in my absence, though I shall admit mother you do look good for a woman your age” she spoke with a slightly snarky tone at the end of her voice. I straight out my dress and forced a smile.

“Yes, and you are um…looking well too Elysia” I spoke trying to keep a polite voice and smile on, she turned her back to me placing her sunglasses on her horrible hairstyle. She looked around at the images of my boy and me and my husband and smirked…she smirked?!?

“Where is Butters if I may ask?” She spoke tilting her head towards me, I didn’t say a word.

Elysia’s pov:

I waited for my mothers reply but when I got none I simply assumed she didn’t care to give me one, I turned to her and lent down with a sinister smirk on my face.

“I am going to make sure butters NEVER comes back to this retched house no matter what it takes, do you understand mother?” I spoke making sure I sounded vile, she nodded her head and moved away, I opened the front door turning my head to glacé at her one finale time.

“ do tell Father I stopped by for a visit, I’ll be off to the school now assuming that is where he is” I said before closing the door behind me and placing my glasses back on my face before staring my walk to the school.

~10 minutes later~

I arrived at the elementary school and walked inside towards the principal’s office and knocked. I waited until I hear a woman’s voice say ‘do come in’ so I opened the door and smiled at the older woman sitting in the chair.

“Hello how may I- oh..” she looked up and stopped when she saw me, I’m going to assume she hasn’t seen many people like this before

“Hello I’m here to collect my younger brother Butter? May I please know his classroom?” I asked placing my sunglasses back on my head to smile at the woman, she nodded and told me the number of the door and the teacher.

I thanked her kindly before heading down towards the classroom, I knocked on the door hearing the teacher sigh and say come in, my goodness I see the teachers here still have no care in this school. I walked in and saw all of the students stop talking and look at me with wide eyes and I swear I saw the fat one mumble something about me looking like I was heading to a funeral or something.

“Hello again Mr garrison” I said looking towards the old teacher of mine, he looked up and had what could have been seen as a smile as he stood up and walked to me grabbing my shoulders.

“Ah, I see you haven’t changed, you must be here for butters am I right?” He said letting go and walking back to his chair. I nod and saw my little brothers face light up.

“Yo butters, that’s your sister?” I saw a boy with a green hat whisper to my brother and he nods enthusiastically before running over to me and letting me embrace him in my arms. I placed a soft kiss on his forehead before grabbing his back and walking out of the classroom.

“Oh jeez! I didn’t know you were coming home!! Mom and dad didn’t tell me I woulda made you a present I swear!” He said stumbling over his words a little which made me laugh, I walked out of the school after signing him out.

“Butters? How would you feel about coming to live with me and Riley for a while?” I said looking down at the innocent boy, he looked up and looked a little nervous.

“O-oh jeez I uh…I better ask mom and dad to see what they say, they don’t really like me being gone for too long” he mumbled while fiddling with his sleeves, a similar trait I did after having father yell at me. Goodness what have they done to him.

“Come then, I shall bring you back and you can go pack your things while I ask them” I said and smiled slightly when I saw him beaming up at me with a smiling face.

~10 minutes later~

No one’s pov

The two arrived back at the house and Elysia knocked on the door waiting for one of the parents to answer and their father opened the door but froze with a look of disbelief when he saw her.

“Go and pack butters” she whispered and the boy ran upstairs to pack his things. She turned towards both her parents and sighed.

“Listen up and listen well for I am only going to say this once, how dare you do the same thing to butters that you did to me! Do you both have no shame in abusing your children?!? HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING FROM HOW I WAS RAISED!!!” She yelled getting annoyed at how they thought they could get away with this. She was shaking with rage but chuckled at her parents scared looks.

“You are both Pathetic, mentally abusing and maybe physically abusing your children just to make yourselves feel powerful what kind of parent does that! Not only that but you have probably made Butters so insecure that he will also second guess anyone!” She stated loudly stopping when she saw butters coming down the stairs with his suitcase.

“ I’m all packed! Bye mom and dad! Thanks for letting her take me!” He said happily before walking outside to wait for her, Elysia turned to her parents one last time and smirked before slamming the door and heading towards her car with her brother in tow.

They were both free, she knew that she would have to drive him to school everyday but as long as he was safe and loved with her and Riley she was completely fine with that, she was just glad to have her brother back.

Take Two (Part 1/6)

Summary: After a tragic car accident, Michaela Bolaca is uprooted from her home on the East Coast and moved to South Park, Colorado, to live with her maternal aunt's family, the Blacks. But being the New Kid is rough at the best of times in the best of places. In South Park? Well, as long as she keeps her head down, she should be fine...right?

Starts a few weeks before season 7, episode 1. First Person POV.

My name's Michaela. I'm eight years old, and I just moved to South Park. My aunt, uncle and cousin live here, and now I do too. I visited once or twice before but I was too young to really remember it. Now that I've been here for a few weeks, it's official: I hate it here.

There's no one besides me and my family that are black, everyone looked at me funny all day when I was out exploring the town, and I just want to go back home.

But I can't.

"There you are Michaela!" said Aunt Linda when she opened the front door, bending down to hug me. "Oh, we were worried sick about you!"

"I'm sorry," I said.

"I know things have been hard since you've lost...well, but you can't just stay out late on a whim."

You can say it Aunt Lin, it's not like I don't already know.

"I'm sorry," I said again instead. What else was I supposed to say? It's not like I was the only one to lose someone; Mom is—was her sister.

"Are you hungry sweetie?" she asked as she guided me inside.

I shook my head.

"Alright," she said. "Your uncle Steve and I have finished the enrolment paperwork so you'll be starting school on Monday, okay? The doctors say that the injuries from the crash are all healed up so you should be okay."

I nodded, and with that I was sent up to my room.

Once I settled in I was finally able to check myself in the vanity mirror. My skin looked okay. My afro hair was still in good shape, if a little shrunken in their pigtails. I wanted a hat, though. I got enough comments about my hair, it being blonde and all. It was easier to have it covered than to deal with the 'You dyed your hair' accusations because of its uncommon color.

I lifted up my mattress to reveal the journal that I'd been keeping since before my recovery. It still hurt to look at the entries before...before.

I blinked back tears as I sat on the bed.

Everything hurt.

Why couldn't everything go back to normal? Why couldn't that drunk driver hit some other car? Why couldn't he have died instead of my mom and dad?

I gritted my teeth and swallowed, sniffing as I tossed the journal aside and dove under the covers. Crying wouldn't bring my parents back.

I was just going to have to find a way to deal.

Chapter One

“Chrissy? Angel? Say something. Come on, say something, don’t just sit there and say nothing.”

She stares at him. “What do you want me to say, Jason?” He’s still got lipstick on his mouth. It’s red.

She doesn’t wear red lipstick. Her mother says it washes her out. And that only tramps wear red lipstick.

She doesn’t think Linda Carlisle is a tramp. She usually thinks Linda Carlisle is smart, and pretty, and that she has a beautiful voice when she sings in the choir at church. However, it is Linda Carlisle’s red lipstick all over Chrissy’s boyfriend's mouth.

Chrissy is pretty sure that Linda Carlisle’s red lipstick is all over her boyfriend’s dick too. She’s pretty sure that’s what she saw in the backseat of Jason’s car when she noticed it outside of the movie theater.

Jason fidgets uncomfortably, avoiding her gaze. “Come on, angel. I’m not serious about her. It’s just, you know.”

“No,” she says. “I don’t. Enlighten me.”

His pleading look begins to war with a scowl. “You know. You’re never interested in, uh. Doing anything. Together.” When she stays silent, he hurries to add, as if she hadn’t understood the first time, “Physical. And it’s fine that you want to wait until we’re married, angel, but—but a guy’s got needs, you know?”

“Oh,” Chrissy says. She keeps her voice very, very light. “So…you got Linda to suck your dick because I wouldn’t put out?”

He sputters and goes as red as the lipstick. “Jeez, Chrissy! There are people around!”

There are—she’d gone to see Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with the girls from the squad to get out of the summer heat, and they’d all scattered as soon as they’d realized what kind of delicate situation Chrissy had found Jason in. But the other theater must have just finished, and people are spilling out onto the sidewalk just down from the alleyway spot where Jason’s car had been parked.

Chrissy recognizes Mr. Clarke, hand in hand with Ms. Kelly. A few kids from the swim team. And then—Eddie Munson, long, wild hair flying as he whirls to face his friends, talking a mile a minute and gesturing broadly with hands that glint silver in the evening sun.

Steve pov

The loud, trumpet sounding ring of his phone interrupted Steve’s quiet car ride, it only meant one thing Robin was trying to call him. He put the phone on speaker and kept driving. “ hey Robbie what’s up”

Robins voice rang though the small car, “hey Steve, I know it’s your down time before the show but theres been an slight issue with your gig tonight…” she trailed off.

“Where are you right now I’ll drive over?” He asked her.

“Im at the venue, but we can deal with it over the phone it’s fine” Robin tried reassuring him.

Steve rolled his eyes, “Robbie im close to the venue anyway, if there’s an issue I’ll deal with it okay?, I’ll see you in a bit” He didn’t wait for conflation from her before hanging up, Steve was only a few blocks away from the venue of the forth night of his tour. He turned down a couple streets before pulling up to a abandoned looking building from the outside but the inside had been refurbished and turned into a stage for performing.

He parked his car, grabbed his guitar and messenger bag from the passenger seat and headed into the building. He spotted Robin right away, she was wearing one of his old Hawkins Swim Team shirts and her thrift store jeans.

He waved at her as he walked over, “so what’s our small issue?” He asked placing his bag down and handing his guitar off to his trusted assistant, Linda.

“Well not so funny story the venue is double booked tonight, and normally that wouldn’t be a problem because we’d be able to figure out a different date to perform but it would be the second time we’d’be re scheduled on your fans. The other band has also refused to talk to any of my staff.” Robin filled him in.

Steve nodded, Robin was right they couldn’t reschedule again. He hated doing it the first time when he was sick but to do it again would be a nightmare. “Can’t we just like pay them to leave?” He asked

The brunette shook her head, “tried that, they didn’t want “daddy’s money for the venue to be clear” at least that what I’ve been told, Dave is still trying to negotiate with them, we still don’t know their bands name.” The Walkie-Talkie on Robin’s shoulder crackled.

“Mam they finally gave us a name, Corroded Coffin.” a voice, Dave’s voice spoke through the Walkie-Talkie. “They said there willing to share the stage, we’d have to figure out the details but it seems the most logical, Over”

“Thanks Dave, I’ll get back to you Steve here so we’re going to talk it over, Over” Robin spoke into the Walkie-Talkie.

“Robin it’s not happening” he shook his head “there’s no way in hell I’m sharing a stage with him!!” Steve was so pissed, this was not supposed to happen on his tour. Not after everything it took to get here.

“Steve, I understand that your angry but it’s gout last show in Cali” Robin tried to reason with him, glancing down at her clipboard.

“Then they shouldn’t’ve fucking double booked us with him of all people” He spat, he was going to go on anyway but not this angry, his fans payed to be here and he was going to give them a show.

Pelis que vimos y nos gustaron (las que recordamos) 2

Como musical SUBLIME, como película biográfica, HERMOSA, simplemente la disfrutamos mucho.

Es una película biográfica musical basada en la vida del músico Elton John. Sigue la historia de John desde su infancia hasta su ascenso a la fama como uno de los músicos más populares y exitosos de todos los tiempos. "Rocketman" ha sido muy bien recibida por la crítica.

bueno, hemos de decir que es hermosa, Taron Eggerton, es increible, su actuación, las canciones, de por si las canciones de Elton John, son preciosas, pero la puesta en escena aquí es preciosa y te da mas contexto en su vida.

Uuuhh esta película, omg sus plot twist, la actuación de Park Shin Hye, y todos en esta película, cheff kiss.

Sigue a Kim Seo-yeon, una mujer que encuentra un viejo teléfono inalámbrico y recibe llamadas de una mujer llamada Oh Young-sook que afirma estar siendo torturada por su madre adoptiva. A través del tiempo, comparten información y eventualmente Young-sook logra escapar de un incendio.

Es de esas pelis donde no tienes idea de que esta pasando, te tienen todo el tiempo en el borde, muy buena y de verdad nunca puedes estar tranquila.

Esta película la vimos, porque vemos referencias a ella en el k-pop y fueron tantas que decidimos verla para ver que tanto.

La trama sigue a Mitsuko, una joven que recibe una carta de amor anónima y comienza a investigar quién pudo haber sido el remitente. A medida que descubre más sobre el remitente de la carta, también comienza a aprender más sobre sí misma y a descubrir sus propios sentimientos.

Es una película que se ve preciosa, si has visto otras películas japonesas pues tiene esa visión que se ve en común en japón, habla sobre el duelo, Mitsuko y el remitente tienen mucho mas en común de lo que creen, y ver eso en la película y como se van desenvolviendo es muy fascinante, realmente muy linda película.

Otra película de Park Chan Wook, queríamos ver otra peli de este director, ya que nos gusto tanto la trilogía, y en el medio nos dimos cuenta de que Kim Tae Ri y la amamos desde Mr sunshine y 25, 21.

La trama sigue a Sook-hee, una ladrona que es contratada como criada de una joven heredera llamada Lady Hideko. A medida que Sook-hee se acerca más a Lady Hideko, comienza a descubrir que hay más en juego de lo que pensaba y que el verdadero motivo de la estafa es más oscuro de lo que imagina.

Bueno esta ambientada en corea en la época de la ocupación japonesa, bueno esta película se ve en tres POV, y aun así no se siente repetitiva, los plot twist de esta peli te dejan :O, un poco turbia pero excelente película, muy recomendado.

Bueno estas eran las películas queríamos compartir con ustedes, con todas pasamos un buen rato, aveces tensas, aveces traumadas y otras con dolor de cabeza, pero siempre fue un buen momento

Chapter One: Saved by the Bird

I shouldn't have done it. I felt guilty as soon as it happened, and Irey watched in horror as I came to my senses. The classroom was silent. It looked like my meltdown came out of nowhere. I'd hit boiling point a long time ago, though. And no one noticed. I could never quite catch my breath anymore. My chest always felt tight, like I was on the verge of imploding. My heart was a black hole lately, sucking everything in, never to be seen again. I couldn't give my grief any meaning because I had no one to share it with. Bottling it up wasn't working anymore. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. My anger felt bottomless. It wasn't fair. It was no surprise that they sent me home early. 

Mom picked me up, and she didn't seem angry. She had the baby with her, so I indirectly owed him one. Mom stayed silent until we got in the car. "What happened?" Mom asked. She didn't sound angry. It felt like Mom saw it coming but didn't know how to stop it. I wondered if she knew more than she let on. 

“I don’t know… I just—. I blew up,” I mumbled. 

“I understand that… But why?” Mom questioned. I didn’t want to tell her. I didn’t know how to explain to her. How do you tell your mom that your world fell apart because you were doing something she warned you about? I shrugged. “Jai, something’s been wrong for a while now… You can talk to me. I want you to talk to me—.”

"I don't wanna talk," I snapped. Mom didn't deserve that. I felt awful, but I couldn't give myself away. I couldn't tell her. "Mom, I don't wanna talk about it right now… Did I wake Wade up?" 

“No. We just woke up a few minutes before the school called,” Mom replied, “Dad’s home… Did you eat lunch?” 

“Nuh-uh. Is Dad mad?” I asked. I could almost hear the answer. He wasn’t mad. Dad didn’t get angry. He was disappointed. 

“Uncle Dick stopped by to visit… But Dad’s worried about you. We’re all worried about you,” Mom emphasized. “Jai, I love you. You know that, right?” I nodded. 

“I love you too, Mom,” I replied. Then the worst part… Mom pulled into the driveway, and Dad and Uncle Dick were already outside. Dad leaned over and whispered in his ear. Uncle Dick nodded and went inside. 

I unbuckled my seatbelt and turned to get Wade out of his car seat. “Nuh-uh. I’ve got him,” Mom replied, “Dad’s waiting for you.” She pointed toward the porch, and I tried to take as long as possible to get to him. 

He waited until I got to him and took my backpack. “You realize they didn’t send you home early because you’re in trouble… The school is worried about you. Everyone’s worried about you, and we just wanna help,” Dad explained. 

And that made everything a thousand times worse. I couldn’t tell him why I lost my grip at school because that was two—. No. Three. Three big conversations. I couldn’t handle that. Not right now. Probably not ever. “I’m fine… I blew up and everyone blew it out of proportion. I’m okay… And it won’t happen again—.” 

“Wanna try that again? This time, with more feeling,” Dad interrupted, “I think you’re struggling with something.”

“I’m struggling to get in the front door,” I muttered. Dad raised his eyebrow. 

“What was that?” Dad questioned. Mom carried Wade to the front porch. 

“Where’s Dick? I wanna cash in this IOU for a free diaper change,” Mom asked. Dad let her in the house but stopped me at the door. 

“Dad,” I whined. 

“Jai, talk to me. I can’t help you if you don’t let me know what’s wrong,” Dad replied as I failed to get past him a third time. I don’t even know why I tried. “Easy. What’s the rush?” 

“I don’t wanna talk about it,” I insisted. And then it came together in my head. Uncle Dick. The whispering. Dad was hellbent on speaking to me outside. I half-smiled. “I’ll take door number one.” 

“Jai, come on. He’s never going to let me live it down—.” 

“I wanna go inside, Dad,” I replied. He let me through, and Uncle Dick looked up from the changing table. 

“Hey, long time no see,” Uncle Dick grinned, “Wanna hang out with me for a few days?” 

I glanced at Dad, and he shrugged. “Okay,” I replied. 

“Pack a bag. I wanna talk to your mom and dad,” Uncle Dick replied. I obeyed. It was easier to go with him than stay home and deal with everyone interrogating me as if I wasn’t invisible before this happened. 

I packed a bag and tried to creep downstairs to listen, but Dick whistled and ratted me out. “Is that good with you guys?” Dick asked. Dad nodded.

“Jai, there’s one catch regarding our little trip,” Uncle Dick announced. 

“No screens,” Mom explained as she reached out. I gave her my phone. “And stay out of trouble… Both of you.” Mom hugged me and kissed me on the cheek. I didn’t mind. Dad tried to keep it together, but I could tell he wasn’t happy. He pulled me into a hug. 

“We gotta get going. Jai, buddy, pal… Don’t get carried away,” Uncle Dick teased as he scooped me under his arm. 

Uncle Dick carried me to his car and set me down. “It looked tense in there. Yikes,” he whispered. I smiled. “Do you wanna grab a bite to eat? I’m starving.” 

I nodded. “What are you doing here?” I asked. 

“Wally dropped in on me a while back, and I wanted to see you guys—.”

“You’re here because Dad told you I’ve been getting in trouble at school,” I corrected him.

“Who cares if you get sent to the principal’s office? Everyone gets sent to the principal’s office sometimes. I used to get in trouble a lot when I was your age… And I have a few ideas about why you’re getting in trouble, but I’d rather enjoy a few days with my friend’s kid than spend four days out in the middle of nowhere trying to treat you like a suspect,” Uncle Dick confessed. I opened my mouth to say something, and he messed up my hair. “Let’s have a good time. Can we do that?” 

“Sure,” I replied. Knowing Uncle Dick was only there as a buffer between my parents and me was a relief. 

“How’s Irey? I didn’t get the chance to ask about her,” Uncle Dick replied as he headed toward the nearest shopping center. “And where do you wanna eat? I know they’ve got that ready-made pizza spot somewhere around here.” 

“Pizza’s fine… And Irey’s okay. Still annoying,” I replied. Uncle Dick chuckled. 

“Where are we going?” I asked. 

“Before or after we eat?” Uncle Dick questioned. 

“After. You said the next few days—.”

“Four days,” Dick corrected. 

“Where are we going for four days?” I asked.

“It’s a surprise. Just let me be the fun uncle… Okay?” he grinned. I nodded, curious about what his plans were for the weekend, but not stupid enough to ruin a good time. “Are you still writing?” 

“Yeah… I brought my notebook with me,” I answered. 

“Good. I haven’t gotten any Action Log newsletters from you lately, so I was worried you stopped writing,” Uncle Dick replied. I didn’t know he read them. I stopped sending them because I thought I was getting on his nerves. “I liked that you added fiction to your newsletters. You’ve got Linda’s knack for storytelling for sure. The story about the guy who made his shadow come to life with drops of blood? Chills!” 

“You read that one? I thought you were—.” 

“I read everything you send me. I’m sorry that I don’t answer every letter. I got sidetracked with stuff in Gotham and then Blüdhaven… But I read your newsletters all the time. I especially like that they’re handwritten. I appreciate that you consider me when you send your Action Logs,” Uncle Dick reassured me. He made me feel better for a minute. Just a minute… And then I remembered why I felt crappy in the first place.

Linda Park please.

Yesss, Linda.

First impression:

To tell you the truth, I do not remember. I read so many Flash comics in the span of, like, a month that it all just kind of blends together but I always have and always will love Linda Park.

Impression now:

Linda is my FAVOURITE superhero spouse. I love everything about her, everything about her personality, everything about her role in the story, everything about how she helps Wally grow, everything about how she grows as a person, too. I love how she's always known Wally's the Flash. I love that there were no secrets between them, none of the lying (stares in Barry Allen). I love that she never once put up with his shit. I love that they hated each other at the start! She was valid for that. I love that they're FINALLY BACK TOGETHER, and I love how the current writer writes her.

I love that it's Linda's love for Wally that anchors him, that she's the main thing that keeps him together. That their love literally transcends time and space, that their love is so powerful. I love that Linda had a whole secret ex-husband that she NEVER told anyone about. Linda is so good at rolling with the punches, and I think she's written SO well for a superhero's partner. Like, Waid making her the POV character for the climax of Terminal Velocity did so much for me, too, because that issue is so fucking emotional. She's a character I really, really vibe with.

Also, she's fun. She doesn't get jealous; she's very understanding even when Wally is being ridiculous, but only up to a poin And while artists seem to keep forgetting this, I also really, really appreciate that they're an interracial relationship.

Favorite moment:

Terminal Velocity. When Wally died and Linda lost her whole goddamn mind and went after Kobra all on her lonesome.

(A close runner up would be when Linda stopped their wedding mid-ceremony to call Wally out for being a dumbass)

(Second runner up would be when Kobra interrupted their honeymoon to come after Linda becuase he felt disrespected that a woman was the reason he lost and she was very over his shit)

Also pretty much EVERY SINGLE TIME THEIR LOVE TRANSCENDED TIME AND SPACE.

Also that time Wally and Linda started arguing on live TV.

Also when Wally joined that cult and Linda spent the whole time like HOW ARE YOU THIS GULLIBLE?!?!

Linda's in a good chunk of my fics I have, haha. How about: Wally simping for evil!Linda, evil!Linda ruling the world via Wally, whose just head over heels, she deserves it.

I feel like just remembering Linda exists is an unpopular opinion, hahahaaha.

Linda and Wally are bi4bi.

Favorite relationship:

Linda+Piper!!! (I mean, no, it's Wally/Linda, but. Barring the obvious, and considering I talked about them already on the Wally post. And on this post.)

Linda and Hartley are SO good together, and I love their relationship separate from Wally. I love that Piper will 100% go along with Linda's bad ideas to help her do stuff while griping about it. I love that they make fun of Wally together because he deserves to be bullied sometimes.

Favorite headcanon:

I have so many I can't decide, hahaha.

This isn't so much a headcanon, as its technically canon, but its canon that NO writer seems to ever remember so:

Linda is at least 7-8 years older than Wally. He's 20 when they meet, and she at that point already has a successful TV journalism career. She was very clearly always intended to be older, but I don't think by that much, except that later on, it gets retconned in that she was two semesters short of an MD, so. She would've finished undergrad, gone to med school, dropped out, and then embarked on?? A career in journalism?? That was successful, all before she met Wally. I'm going to give Linda the benefit of the doubt that she had journalism credentials from undergrad before med-school.

So, yeah. Linda being a good amount older than Wally is something I LOVE that I feel like is never, ever, ever mentioned by anyone, ever.
