Just a friendly reminder

Mercedes and Melchior (both human forms and doggos) are great Positive Mental Attitude and Self Care Mascots because they know to put their health first and when to step back and have a day dedicated to loving themselves, and they won't hesitate to remind others to do so to when they need to

Mercedes is also the most supportive friend you'll ever have and is that extroverted friend who will gladly buy you that $2000 ring you like when you're not feeling well enough to confront the counter person and ask about it

Melchior will pick you up and carry you away out of any stressful situation and drag you along to a $10,000 holiday at a top class motel for a few weeks and give you an extra $5000 to spoil yourself with (this ofc is all coming out of lucio's account but you don't need to know that) because according to both the puppers no self-care is better than pampering yourself as royals do

Im so tired of seeing posts like "everyone in [a fandom] is a bad person" or "let [a fandom] die they all send threats/degrade others who don't have the same opinion."

You know what? EVERY FANDOM HAS PEOPLE LIKE THAT IN IT

please stop generalizing just because some people in a fandom are assholes.

It might not immediately get better, and life never does.... but life is one of those things that's worth fighting for." - Sean McLoughlin / Jacksepticeye This quote resonates within me, as I suffer from mental health illnesses - as you may have seen on my DA front page, I suffer with PTSD, along with other mental health related issues. This, along with Jack's/Sean's positivity pushes me to get through the days I don't think I can fight anymore... to take another breath... to wake up another morning. I am fighting against my mental illness and I have a team of professionals helping me, but there are days that you feel like giving up... and I find myself drawn to either my artwork, or watching one of jack's/sean's videos so that I can re-focus my mind. And if Jack ever see's this.... Thank you for being that beam of light that comes through when I'm in nothing but darkness. Thank you for offering your hand to pull me back to my feet to fight when I don't think I can anymore. Thank you for offering your insight and guidance, and your positivity - without it I don't know if I would be here. And lastly, to anyone else suffering with mental health illness, keep fighting. Everyday can be a struggle, and it can seem like it will never change, or never get easier. But it does, it's not something we can fix quickly, but it's something that CAN be changed, that we all can overcome no matter how great or small. Always look for that beam of light, or the one thing to keep you going - be it a loved one, a pet, a friend, a youtuber, or a hobby. Find it and cling to it. Use it for the days you don't think you can make it through. It's ok to have days where all you can do it make it until tomorrow, so long as you make it. Much love <3 Tory
