as far as visualizing goes, you can look up inspiration online (runway shows, vogue's diary of a model, vogue beauty secrets, victoria secret shows, etc.) and imagine that you are the one modeling in those videos. you can also make a pinterest board based on modeling too and visualize yourself as the model in those photos.

and whenever you see a model, try not to immediately compare yourself to them, but instead tell yourself "oh i look exactly like them" or "she is such a beautiful model, but so am i." remember the 3d is not REAL! it is just reflecting your current inner assumptions. start assuming that you are already a model, and the 3d WILL reflect that!!

You were laying in bed waiting for the right time to hop out of your window. Dabi was just outside the gate waiting for you. He had asked you to go for a drive with him.

hello! i understand where you're coming from! media culture (whether acedemic / online/fandom/etc) is full of people giving you their recs and opinions. there's so much sometimes that it does feel like a form of peer pressure. among gay friends, i often joke that i'm a "bad gay" because i've still never seen l word, glee, or even a full episode of drag race because they don't interest me.

it might take a little practice, but only try/watch/stick with the media you have a feeling you will enjoy or take meaning from. check in with yourself while your watching and ask yourself if ur engaged, if the answer is no, turn it off! no art in this world is made for everyone and you owe no piece of media a portion of ur finite minutes on this planet just cos someone reccommended it.

Uhh so for y’all other artists or people who might also see this, disclaimer again that I’m not a professional so pls pls pls dont come at me if you see mistakes...which there are mistakes...like I’m 99.9% sure some of this isn’t really “symmetrical” or its warped weirdly because I Suck at perspective and I’m still learning! :’)

The point of this tutorial thing is just to show my general process of how I draw Optimus (a headshot of him, just his head and neck, to be specific; his body is another, longer story o//o’’) and others’ execution of it can definitely vary. I mostly just showed the steps in which I completed the different parts of his helm.

Which I’d also like to add that I’m an Idiot and forgot to record my screen so instead I took photos of the different compeleted steps after drawing the whole thing O//////o’’ but anyway......I do still hope this maybe sorta helps....^^’’

1.) Sketching; I like to draw a human head actually (same goes for body; I’ll start with a human form as the sketch and then do a second sketch of the armor over it before I start lining; and those dont include other sketches I do over those to clean them up....^^’’)

2.) Cleaner, More Specific sketch; This is the last sketch before lineart where I place things and color the lines so I get an idea of what the final product might look like...if I end up doing it right! I try to place everything that should be in the final, so before this are other sketches....but this is the last one. Ok. Moving on--

3.) Crest; this can move around a lot while lining the rest of the helm as you may find you’ve centered it incorrectly...or at least...that’s what happens to me...but nonetheless, I begin with the crest~

And a note about how I make it: I use the line tool to make the shape, duplicate the shape, make that one smaller, fill it in completely, then take the eraser and turn the canvas so I can erase in the lines. When you finish, it’ll look like a grill of sorts (is that the term??? O///O’’) and it saves the trouble of extra lineart,,,idk call me lazy but it looks good in the end,,,, ^^’’

4.) Top of his helm; When I draw this the first time, I close up the bottoms so I can clean them up later when I draw the other parts of his head, but as I said above, by this point I’d already finished the drawing so that’s why it looks like that, but basically, that blue part of his helmet goes next! :D I also try to do extra lines as I go along so I don’t forget later...^^’’

5.) Add in the audio receptors + Side face-plate things!! Preferably, start with the receptors, then do the side thingies. And for the grill on those, take your line tool and draw in a rectangle that follows the shape at the top but is straight on the bottom and fill it in. Then, erase the same amount of times on each side to create the same look~ Obviously, be neater than me...since this example here is kinda lopsided....but I suppose you probably get the idea.. :’3

6.) Draw in the blue plating on his face, then the chin on a separate layer below, and on yet another layer, add the tiny blue things at the bottom. Clean up the chin lines that cross into the blue plating spaces, and that should give you this step! If that,,,makes any sense? If my rambles make it confusing, just look at the final result here and compelete the three components on three separate layers so it’s easier for you. Also, when you’re done with that, combine the side blue plating and the chin bits so you have less layers to go through in the end...if you wanna...

7.) As for the antennae things, use the line tool for sure, and erase or change the brush size up so you can play with line-weight...and again call me lazy but you can combine them when you’re done cleaning them up (again, I reccommend putting each one of these on a separate layer first so you can clean them up individually and then combine to one) and duplicate the layer for the other side. For front view, literally just flip it so it’s symmetrical, for 3-quarter, you might need to use your “transform” (hahah lol) tool to fix it a bit. Or just draw the new side in, either way, that completes step 7.

8.) Neck!! Now this wasn’t a more “serious drawing” or anything, so I kinda made a neck shape and drew in random cables and lines so it looks complicated but it’s actually not....tbh when you do draw him, you can kind of do that because ultimately, the shades of black used to color his neck area are dark enough to conceal what exactly was drawn in there so it’s not the most important thing in the world...since you’ll see there’s lining in there but it’s too hard to make out what exactly....basically, from afar, having all this “complication” will give the look that he has a complex neck area, with all these cables and wires and it looks alien! And that’s exactly what you should go for without needing to make it too hard for yourself. I remember someone told me once that in a lot of art, especially art displayed on social media or that kind of thing, you wanna focus on details but not too much; always do a double-take to see what it looks like as a thumbnail so you won’t end up stressing over every tiny miniscule detail. Idk but it seems like good advice~

9.) Eyes/mouth; For the eyes the only thing I wanna say is that I make a shape and fill it in. I know he has other little details surrounding his optics, but for the sake of showing you how I do this in my lil style, I like to simplify it by just making the shape and filling it in, then duplicating the layer and “gaussian blurr-ing” it so it has a softer look. The mouth is...the mouth. Do with it what you shall~

10.) Optics! The blue part! The most fun part in my opinion! I actually have a more “complicated” (not really lol) version of his eyes which I use if I’m going to color the piece or do something more “serious,” so this here’s the simplified version. Like I said with his eyes, I like to keep it simple when it comes to his eyes, since idk it just...looks good to me ^^’’ I take the pen tool and draw in two circles, ovals, whatever the shape is supposed to be. I do not use the circle tool because it feels a little.....stiff..? Idk ^^’’ But anyway, then I duplicate the layer, gaussian blur, and combine both. Another thing I like to do is change the first layer (the one that didn’t get the blur) from “normal” to “Add (Glow)” ((as it’s written in Clip Studio settings, that is)) and mess with that a little, THEN combine these layers. The last part is adding your shine bits; just take your white pen and go wild, and if you wanna, do the whole “duplicate, blur, combine” thing with the shine bits as well; it adds to the look~

And ofc, take away the sketch layer (but don’t delete it, just in case you need it! ^w^)

I have another process for coloring....but I didn’t include it since it’s fairly simple ^^’’

I also just realized I forgot his eyebrows, but you can add those in along with the eyes/mouth step if you don’t forget like I did...idk, for this particular look it seems not to take so much away from the drawing but....I should have remembered ahh--

hey do you know what binders you can reccommend?

I currently have the GC2B Half Binder (they also come in nude tones https://www.gc2b.co/collections/gc2b-all-nude)

I believe mine is the Nude No. 3 Half that my bf bought me years ago! My first binder was also a GC2B binder in white that my bf also bought me in 2015 i think? It held up for a while until it got old and I grew out of it! I believe I got this new one a few years after and it still holds up!

Might be time to get a newer one LOL But YEAH its great, once you do the proper measurements its breathable, not too constricting (pls give ur back and chest breaks tho dont wear it too long each day, max or 7-8 hours but even then that's pushing it)

My boobs are on the average size, last time I checked I was either a B or C cup and my binder compresses nicely. I still need to readjust them frequently when they do slide around bc of my work, and they only leave a slight bump through the binder. Considering im a bit chubby, I’m not complaining about looking perfectly smooth.

I hope you can find the binder thats right for you!

Hey ! I really wanna get into tarot readings n Was wondering if you had any useful tips or has seen any blogs that give useful tips ? I’d be grateful for anything really , I’ve read up on some stuff but I need more lol so this is for when u have time pls answer :) thank u so much !!

im not sure about other blogs that give insightful tips other than maybe @servantofthefates (who is amazing) but keep in mind they have a very traditional method of reading the cards and there is no one way to do it, i love a lot of their content but some of it I just don’t agree with and that’s okay.

as far as tips from me...

1) you learn tarot like, three times per deck. what i mean by that is you learn it all traditionally upright, traditionally reversed (if you read reversed, which i normally don’t), and then you learn your own meanings from that. a lot of new readers read very��literally and that’s okay while they’re learning how to read, but eventually as you get used to the cards and memorize them, you’ll develop your own personal meanings and connotations for each card. for example, the tower is traditionally a scary card for a lot of readers, especially new ones, but for most readers i know who have been reading it a while, its a good sign!

2) don’t apply meanings of cards universally. what i mean by that is the meanings of the cards can and do change depending on the artwork on the card itself, who made the deck and what context they made it in, the historical context of the time the deck was first published, etc; study up a little on your deck and keep that context in mind when you read. additionally, card meanings can change with the context of a reading. that seems like a no brainer but again, new readers tend to rely on the guidebook and take things very literally.

3) pick one deck and focus on it. i didn’t even think about buying a second deck until two years after i bought my rider-waite, no joke. i only have three tarot decks now and im a bit of a junkie lmao but seriously, learn one deck and get confident about it before you move on.

4) mobile decks are your friend!!! i know a lot of people might not agree with me on this but gosh the biggest and best way to get better at reading is just to do tons and tons and tons of readings and thats so inconvenient if you have to whip out the deck everywhere you go. it puts the cards at risk and its just impractical. so having a tarot app like golden thread or galaxy tarot (which is what I’ve been using for years and STILL use-- i even bought the premium which is how fuckin much i recommend it okay) is a great way to keep you from giving up on tarot in general because its so easy to use. if you haven’t bought a deck yet, or don’t even know where to begin with tarot, this is the BEST way to get into it because its free and gives you easy to consume definitions with multiple contextual examples UGH so good

ps i can’t review golden thread because i haven’t tried it myself? but other readers say its good for new tarot readers so...

5) watch other readers do spreads or pick a cards on youtube. i know, i know, some other readers may not agree with this one, but it helped me develop my reading style a LOT. especially if you want to improve how you can read the cards TOGETHER rather than individually. there really is no better way to learn imo than watching someone else, at least for me. maybe find readers who use the deck you’re learning, because added oracle decks or decks with alternate systems may be confusing. i really reccommend @mercury-minded if you’re at least a little proficient!!! she has a growing channel on youtube and does pick-a-cards that involve astrology and is just, in general, a great place to start.

@chaosbcrne - 10/10 Shadow? Hits the nail with that boy, and his characterisation is so well developed; I love and adore this portrayal, tbh. Fantastic writer, and you can really feel the emotion in their writing. And the mun? Honestly, like - way past cool and generally a joy to chat with!

@fishing-purple-cat - Blessed muse with so much thought put into him; always a joy to see him on my dash! This muse is written so well, and you can really see the love and care put into this portrayal. You can also expect superb art that continues to wow me to this day. Mun is super friendly and caring, defo check them out!

@team-phantom / @heartfelt-silver - These muses are honestly so fascinating to me; the lore that Panda has built upon is super interesting, and one of my favourite things about their writing is the feeling and dialogue within it. Whether it’s angsty or dorky headcanons, they know how to make you feel for these boios. Panda is a fabulous person in general, super approachable and caring!

@inhibitcrs - Another one of my favourite Shadows! His characterisation is absolutely on point, and honestly? Always a joy to interact with; his relationships with other muses is so believeable and I love seeing his shenanigans on the dash. Also, the mun is also one of my dearest friends. Ender is super cool and amazing and PLS GO CHECK OUT THEIR BOI. PLS.

@chaosguided - So many wonderful muses, I really can’t pick sometimes. I need to interact with this blessed mun more, but their writing? Gaaaaah, I live for it - and their threads are so emotional and in-depth and my heart and gaaaaaaaaah they’re great and pls go check them out pls.

@fastest-hedgy-sonic - Another great Sonic full of attitude and a heart to match! Mun has a wonderful sense of humor and it really comes across in their muse’s character; Sonic is written fantastically and I am living for all of this lore they dish out. They’re really open and neat; pls give them love.

@mercenaries-for-hire - Idon’tinteractasmuchasIdidandmymusesucksforthat, but Vi’s interpretation of Team Hooligan has honestly made me adore them in ways I never thought I would before. The threads on this blog are really fun and engaging, as well as interesting, and I always have a great time threading with them. Vi is also stupendous and ilthem (fight me, vi). There’s also @defective--detectives and @moonlit-mystic you should totally check out!

Disney RPC:

@isoscelesnightmare - Pssssst, this is an amazing triangular abomination. Vince really captures this chaotic menace, salt, horror, and all! The threads I’ve had with them so far have been so fun and engaging; they REALLY capture the essence of Bill Cipher and they’re legit one of my favourite people to RP with. They also have a @pyrcnica muse you should totally check out! o:

@pinedecode - Hi, hello, the dorky son Dipper Pines? Ender really captures his personality; characterisation is spot on and I live for all the shenanigans that happen on dash. They really know what they’re doing with this muse, and it really shows! I definitely suggest visiting their blog ‘cause... AMAZING. Also pls do check out @nomorcstrings and @trouvaillend while you’re at it!!

@siximpossiblethoughts - Admittedly, I haven’t roleplayed much with their Alice yet, but what I have written with them has been a blast. They get up to such wonderful nonsense, have all these interesting verses and their characterisation of Alice is really fascinating to me. Max generally seems a really cool mun, too!

@waywardsonsanddaringdaughters - So many interesting muses, including Gravity Falls peeps! I honestly really adore their writing (and those portrayals are just... gah) and the mun is super friendly and understanding, as well as fun and easy to plot with! Definitely look into them; they’re great. :D

@romunomuses - Ro is a super fun person to write with; their muses are always so in depth and they capture them wonderfully, personality and all. One of their strong suits is the emotion they’re able to deliver in their responses and it honestly has me reeling sometimes. If you’re a fan of fluff or heartbreak, they’re the person to check out. : ‘D

@savethequccn / @ragefeathers - Both extremely amazing Donalds; I haven’t really interacted with them yet (former mostly bc I still need to finish KH3), but seeing their writing on the dash always leaves me inspired! They really capture duck boi and their portrayal of him in both verses is something to be admired.

@floofymuses - Huge multimuse, but they have Disney and Sonic! characters a plenty and they an absolutely amazing writer. They have a really complex understanding of their characters and really do nail how they would act! Also, mun is generally just super and nice in general. Worth a look, definitely!

These are all the folk I could think of off the top of my head?? But honestly, there are probably SO many more talented writers I haven’t listed yet. : ‘ D

Queer Eye Reboot: A Review

(I know this isn't kpop related, but this is important to me. And it's about people. And that's always relevant and important.)

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I LOVE THIS SHOW, Y'ALL!!

I liked the original as well. (Ted was my fave.) But by the time I was able to actually watch it freely, it was already over and unavailable. 😭 (I wasn't able to watch them all. :( Does anyone know where I can find the original episodes?)

My Thoughts

I was so ecstatic today when I got on Netflix and saw that they rebooted it!

I watched all 8 episodes in a row and cried like a baby at least twice during each one. (I'm a sap. Don't judge me.) I NEED MORE!!!

I'm so in love with all of the Fab5.

Jonathan Van Ness is so adorably extra. I love his enthusiasm. Can I please braid his hair? He's so cute.

Antoni Porowski is my favorite. WHO DOESN'T LOVE A MAN WHO KNOWS FOOD?? He's sweet and so perceptive. Also handsome af. I want him to teach me how to cook. (Pls adopt me?)

Tan French. Two words: Silver Fox. His accent is sexy af and he's quite the looker. I LOVE his style and how he's so easy going. Can he please pick out clothes for my hopeless ass?

Karamo Brown. This man. He's so good looking..? I really love how gentle and playful he is. Like a teddy bear. 10/10 would cuddle.

Bobby Berk. CUTE AF. This man knows his shit, y'all. I would hire him to design my house for sure. He's so sweet and I love his style.

All of these men are amazing. They're talented and professional. They're sensitive to the person they're helping.

My favorite thing about this show is how they pay attention to the person inside and out. They pick up on things and address them. Watching Karamo show an obviously depressed and anxious man learn how he can deal with his condition in a way that works for him... just. Amazing.

They actually help the people instead of just giving them a style upgrade and moving on. They actually give them the tools and a solid jumping off point for the rest of their lives in a way they can understand and apply themselves.

This show understands and focuses on the point that it's more than just the outside. They "improve" the outside, sure, but in a way that helps the person on the inside. And in a practical and doable way.

I also really love that they're being changed too. The episode where Karamo and that cop made a connection. Or when Bobby made the connection with that religious man.

They say in the opening that this show is about acceptance. Which is true and extremely important. Something we all need to learn.

This show demonstrates how just having an open, honest and mature conversation can break down barriers for people of different backgrounds.

One thing that Antoni said that is something I wholeheartedly believe, was that while he is proud of his sexuality... it's not the thing that makes him interesting.

Your sexuality isn't who you are. YOU are who you are. Your sexuality, religion, gender(s)<or no gender>, race, etc. are just threads in the tapestry that is you.

You can absolutely be proud of those things. And you SHOULD. But just one or two of those things do not define you as a human being. Our specific combos make us unique and they help shape who we are. But before any of that, we're a human beings first.

True equality will only exist when that is accepted and perpetrated. We are not defined by our individual parts but by our whole selves.

Our decisions and actions make us who we are. And idk about y'all, but I'm choosing acceptance and celebration of differences. (This blog will always accept anyone, no matter the sexuality, race, religion, gender(s)/non-genders, etc. This blog is a safe place. Please feel free to talk to me if you need it.)

Sorry. Kind of got off track there, but I wanted to get those things off my chest. I've been thinking about this stuff for a long time now. This show just gave me an opportunity that I apparently needed. Lol.

But honestly, I HIGHLY reccommend this show to anyone and everyone. But warning: If you're a huge ball of sappy fluff like me... BRING TISSUES.

Final Note: Let's all be accepting of each other. Not tolerance.. acceptance.
