Not having access to basic medical care because of assumption it's in your head.

Not having access to basic medical care because you also happen to be mentally ill.

Not having access to basic medical care because the doctor is intimidated by you knowing about your own condition.

Not having access to basic medical care because they flagged you as a drug seeker just for having pain as a symptom.

Relying on OTC pain and sleep meds as a result and inevitably staring down the barrel of liver and/or pancreatic failure just for said doctors to tell you to just stop taking them.

Being told to take melatonin to sleep- when pain is preventing you from doing so.

Being told you just need to do more CBT for your pain.
