Ok, so when I said I don’t need anything else on Ubup, I didn’t mean there’s nothing left to want... I found 2 Laura Biagiotti items, ofc knitwear again, a silk-cotton T-shirt dress and a long knit skirt that is probably wool, and they had a flash sale tonight.

The weather was slightly less crap than yesterday. Since work things were lined up for the evening again, tried to sleep in, then handwashed the Ubup items - for neurotic reasons, but also the Maison Scotch cardigan was reeking of fabric softener. Could actually feel it on the fabric as well, but washing helped, the smell is very faint now and I expect to get rid of it with subsequent washes. The Escada skirt is so pretty I ought to start overdressing to the office. (Admittedly standards slipped a bit over the holidays, I’ve mostly been wearing jeans ever since.)

Also, the Plabio device that I won the eBay auction for was delivered. It’s not a Plabeau, but a Plabene, as in, the previous generation of their product line, 2016ish, but the principle is the same, it was described as and appears unused, and charging it and turning it on didn’t result in ball lightning or anything else untoward. Experimentation may commence. If it doesn’t do much, oh well, I got it for the cheap starting bid price. My only other skincare gadget so far is a fairly basic pencil-type ionic massager (vibrates on contact) that I think has made my under-eyes less crepe-y after a few weeks of use (I use it after essences and hydrating toner to boost absorbtion). Idk if I’ll ever get round to salon treatments, but laser redness reduction sounds good.
