Says Bruce Dickinson, “Next year is a very special one for IRON MAIDEN and we’re going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This is a tour that’s gonna put a smile on your face and a cheer in your throat. If you’ve seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us before, then what the hell have you been waiting for? Now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! IRON MAIDEN’s definitely gonna get ya!”
Manager Rod Smallwood adds, “50 years of Maiden and I have seen 46 of them! With well over 100 million albums sold and almost 2500 shows in 64 countries and counting, to countless millions of fans, we are all still loving every second and consider every tour a new challenge to bring something different and exciting to our fans. And for this very special one we’re pulling out all the stops!
"We will cover classics and fan favourites from the first nine albums, from IRON MAIDEN to FEAR OF THE DARK, many of which we haven’t played in years and many we will likely never play again in the future. We have already been hard at work for months putting together an even more spectacular and elaborate new show which will bring the songs to life more than we have ever been able to do before. This is going to be a huge couple of years for IRON MAIDEN, and Eddie of course, and we are very excited about what we have up our sleeves for you fans throughout the whole of our 50th year. I promise you are all going to be very happy indeed!”
On Saturday June 28th the band will perform at the London Stadium, home of West Ham Football Club – the team that band founder Steve Harris has supported throughout his life, and with whom IRON MAIDEN have a long and storied history.
This concert in front of over 60,000 fans, will be the first time that IRON MAIDEN have performed on the club’s hallowed turf. A true homecoming show – with Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith & Nicko McBrain all born in the surrounding area – it will also be the biggest UK venue the band have ever headlined outside of their festival appearances.
Steve Harris says, “My love of football and my support of West Ham is no secret, and I know many of our fans around the world have shared that with me too. So we’re all very excited to be playing at the London Stadium as part of the RUN FOR YOUR LIVES tour. We can’t wait to see you all there!”

The Saska Kępa neighborhood of Warsaw looks like it has been visited by a flock of exotic birds. However, the feathers coating the upscale cafés and bars in the area are residuals from visiting Harry Styles fans, most dressed in oversize boas and strings of pearls, all ready to descend on the nearby PGE Narodowy stadium to watch their hero perform, or settle in a nearby park to picnic and eavesdrop on the show from just outside the gates.

August - Activity
While my 2 friends from abroad were visiting the city, we walked around a lot. We walked around parks, the old town, and checked out the PGE Narodowy Stadium in preparation for the concert we attended the next day.
Reflection - Once again, it was very easy to walk this many steps in the company of my friends, with a goal in mind and with the weather also being great. Walking around like this is not only a great form of exercise, but seeing my number of steps reach 10k or over is always satisfying.

Taylor Swift’s concert had a positive impact on the tourism sector in the Indianapolis area.
smartoobiz.com – Soon Taylor swift’s concert tour titled ERAS tour will be held in Indianapolis. The countdown for the pop mega star is 100 days from now. The Indianapolis government and the community hope this will increase tourism in the region and attract many foreign and local tourists to visit Indianapolis

Jennifer Holcomb, a taylor swift fan, said: “I’m lucky to have tickets because more than 87% of fans come from out of town and maybe they’ll spend a few nights in Indianapolis. This is a very good thing because it can increase the number of tourism in this region”.
Another fan named Jhon Smith also said: “100 days from now we can see the impact on the tourism sector and they are very enthusiastic about this. This concert is very unique to me”
“Hotels across the city are almost sold out for Taylor weekend with prices tripling that weekend compared to 2023,” said Clare Clark of Visit Indy. “Currently, for November, we expect a short-term rental increase of 207%.”
Eras Tour completes an already busy year in the field of Indy Tourism. From the NBA All-Star Game to solar eclipses and the Swimming Olympics, the numbers show record-breaking years.
Every year, tourism brings in an impact of $5.8 million and Visit Indy says this year should be much higher than that. “Thirty million visitors come to Indianapolis and that number is going to be a lot more,” Clark said.
This is the Eras Tour schedule for Taylor swift : July 24: Hamburg, Germany — Volksparkstadion July 27: Munich, Germany — Olympiastadion July 28: Munich, Germany — Olympiastadion Aug. 1: Warsaw, Poland — PGE Narodowy Aug. 2: Warsaw, Poland — PGE Narodowy Aug. 3: Warsaw, Poland — PGE Narodowy Aug. 8: Vienna, Austria — Ernst-Happel-Stadion Aug. 9: Vienna, Austria — Ernst-Happel-Stadion Aug. 10: Vienna, Austria — Ernst-Happel-Stadion Aug. 15: London, United Kingdom — Wembley Stadium Aug. 16: London, United Kingdom — Wembley Stadium Aug. 17: London, United Kingdom — Wembley Stadium Aug. 19: London, United Kingdom — Wembley Stadium Aug. 20: London, United Kingdom — Wembley Stadium
Once again it’s time to take a closer look at Karlie Kloss’s relationship with Taylor Swift. Once a prominent member of Swift’s beloved squad, Kloss has never been seen hanging out with the singer for years, which sparked rumors that the two were at odds. The evidence is slim, of course — Kloss is known to hang out with Swift’s nemesis, Scooter Braun, and Swift doesn’t appear at Kloss’s wedding — but Swift does tend to go out of her way to publicize her friendship, so the fact that she hasn’t come to a Trotteria with Kloss in the past year or two is noteworthy.
Last year, while everyone from Phoebe Bridgers to Channing Tatum earned a spot in the Eras Tour VIP tent, Kloss was forced (or chose?) to watch “Bad Blood,” a song in which he appeared in a music video, from the pop gen. But whatever happens between the two won’t be made public anytime soon — when asked about Swift in a recent interview, Kloss gave a very calm snippet.
In a Q&A session with Yahoo Life about the new health campaign, Kloss was asked about his favorite song from Swift’s latest album (which many hated), The Tortured Poets Department. “I’ll say the whole album,” Kloss replied honestly. “I mean, the music is classical.” When asked about Swift’s overall favorite song, she explained, “She has a lot of hits. I really like ‘Shake It Off.'”

Robert and the pills
So I had an interesting MAX ride yesterday. On the way to work a guy board at PGE Park. He seemed unstable and became agitated when lady tried to help him get seated in the handicap section. The guy asked me to help him with his bag (his speech was really slurred). The guy said that he needed an ambulance. I freaked out at first but ask the guy his name. The man, Robert, did as well as his cell…

I will mention this until the end of time, Aubrey (in my Canon at least) carries Mr. PlantEgg everywhere she goes, and I mean EVERYWHERE.
Park? Sure!
Church? Yes!
She even brings him with her when hanging with her friends. Kim questioned it at first, but she settled into it after Aubrey protected Mr. PlantEgg.
Aubrey has stated before that she, quote on quote,
"Has no shame.", so this just works for her.
The news spreads quickly around Faraway.
"Look at that Aubrey, carrying that plushie everywhere she goes! The same delinquent is a softie!"
AND AUBREY JUST ACCEPTS THIS???
She doesn't fight back, she doesn't spout insults and/or curses at them, she just nods her head and says something along the lines of, and I quote again,
"Yep, that's me."
Now you all may be saying,
"WRITER. THIS ISN'T AUBREY. THIS IS SUCH A STRETCH."
To which I say, in my mind,
"eh, to each their own."
All of this to say I believe in Soft PGE Aubrey Supremacy

Due to the expected ongoing event-bans and restrictions related to COVID-19, Rammstein are unfortunately forced to postpone the planned European Stadium Tour again. The band and everyone involved are very disappointed about this. Given the lack of planning reliability for holding events of this size, this step is unavoidable. The concerts are rescheduled to 2022. Unfortunately, some minor changes had to be made and the show in Belfast will be canceled entirely. Tickets for Belfast will be refunded, all other tickets remain valid! The band is using the time off to continue working on new songs. We look forward to seeing you in 2022! A few years ago, we experienced a fire resulting from a storm that knocked down a giant tree which pulled down power lines. The live wires were dancing over our neighbor’s house, and the house started burning. The fire fighters were doing their best to contact the local utility (Exelon/Commonwealth Edison), but it took the utility several hours to turn off the electricity feeding into the neighborhood. In the meantime, the fire spread to our fence and was charring our garage, in which were our cars (meaning gasoline). By the time that was all sorted out, we had incurred thousands of dollars of damage and the neighbor’s house had to be completely renovated. As a consequence, the utility erected utility poles that are much taller and sturdier and have bundled the wires together using these huge clips, which theoretically strengthens the overhead power lines. We’ll see. Since then, no trees have yanked down the lines. Moral of the story: yes, bury the lines.
Excerpt from this story from Grist:
On July 18, California’s Pacific Gas & Electric revealed that its electrical equipment might have sparked the Dixie Fire, a blaze that has since become the second-largest in the state’s history, torching 700,000 acres and destroying more than 1,200 structures. Three days later, PG&E, which emerged from bankruptcy last year after amassing some $30 billion worth of liabilities from wildfires, announced something more surprising: To prevent future blazes, the state’s largest utility plans to rip out 10,000 miles of overhead power lines in high fire risk areas and bury them underground.
The plan caps a years-long push by utilities to bury more power lines in the face of worsening weather and rising risks from climate change. According to PG&E, it’s the largest such effort ever announced by a U.S. utility: Pattie Poppe, the company’s CEO, described as a “moonshot” on a call with reporters, But whether PG&E can turn its announcement into action is a big “if,” as the utility has not estimated a timeline for the project, and it’s not clear that the benefits will outweigh the multi-billion dollar cost.
PG&E’s announcement, nearly two years after its equipment sparked the deadly Camp Fire, was “a clear recognition that something has to change,” said Julie McNamara, a senior energy analyst at the Union of Concerned Scientists. “But if this is not part of a holistic plan that is clearly reckoning with all of the challenges afoot, then this is a distraction.”
Burying power lines isn’t a new idea. The majority of electrical distribution lines, as well as the larger, higher voltage transmission lines that carry electrons over longer distances, remain overhead, said Sadrul Ula, an energy infrastructure researcher at the University of California, Riverside. But utilities have long buried lines in city centers, as well as parks and recreation areas like golf courses, largely for aesthetic reasons. Even though it can cost as much as ten times more than installing power lines overhead, utilities are now burying an increasing number of new lines. That includes power lines serving nearly all new residential and commercial developments in the U.S. They do it to meet customer preferences, help keep the lights on, reduce maintenance needs, and to protect against the growing threat of extreme weather.
