I couldn’t make up my mind on one species (I did not want a human in a DIVERSE Mario universe lol) so I chose all of them Huehuehue.

There aren’t many shapeshifting characters/creatures, but I’ve noticed that Lumas can technically be anything. Let’s just pretend that if they become stars or planets or galaxies, they can’t change back 🫢.

This is my excuse to make a sona of every creature in the Mario universe!

I originally wanted to draw all of these characters without shoes because Penderdot doesn’t like wearing them, but I kinda forgot 😶. You can always tell who she is because something is not quite right with them (barefoot Toad, Paratroopa with curly feathers, etc) and is always wandering at night during meteor showers making wishes. She doesn’t know the customs of the form she chooses like being too nice for a Koopa in the army or not running away from danger as a Toad or covering her face as a Shaman.

She is not of this world. She is strange. You can always tell when star folk like her are among us by the way of their behavior. They are from another world, so be nice to them if encountered. If you are to cross paths with a Star folk like a Luma and you feel the urge to correct their behavior, politely tell them, and they will gladly oblige, as it is in their nature to change for the better.
