This immersive learning experience, designed to push the boundaries of minimally invasive uro-oncological care, exceeded all expectations.

Beyond Textbooks, into the Operating Room: Forget passive observation. Delegates donned scrubs and witnessed complex uro-oncological surgeries live – from groundbreaking robotic prostatectomies to intricacies of laparoscopic cystectomies and precise nephrectomies – unfolding with breathtaking skill right before their eyes. This wasn't just about theory; it was about immersion in the heart of surgical innovation.

Beyond Lectures, Open Dialogue: PACE wasn't about one-way learning. It was about active engagement. With a limited group of 10-15 delegates, every question found an answer, every doubt was addressed, and open dialogue thrived. the PACE camping trip this weekend was seriously an amazing experience. PACE stands for Progressive Adult Congenital Experience. basically it's a support group with young adults living with congenital heart diseases. we all may have different heart diseases but we go through similar struggles in life dealing with them. it honestly is the best feeling in the world to know there are actually people out there who understand what i'm going through and how i'm feeling. i may not show it, but, i struggle a lot with trying to accept my heart disease. so many questions and so many worries that i have about my heart and my health. and they continue to stress me out and really burden me because i don't really know how to express them nor deal with them. i just try and avoid them. i've learned so much this weekend about things i need to focus on and change about myself and my emotions. it's definitely a day to day process but, i'm going to do my best to work at it. i'm so glad i've had the chance to get to know the people i've met and just feel like for once in my life feel like i'm not different and that just because i have a heart disease does not mean i'm any less worthy than anyone else who doesn't.
