Missionary only once a week! Hahaha I feel like your Jane likes missionary way more than that but tbh she seems to just like whatever Maura wants. Such a pleaser when it comes to Maura I think. Does she do needy things for Maura lien attend seminars or conferences? Does Maura get into the Red Sox or is she more interested in football, neither? What remains opposite no matter the love they have for one another? What they fight about? Rizzoli is such a stubborn it makes me laugh and I imagine Maura loves to have fun with that too

The way I write (and see) Jane is that most of the time she’s feeling lucky to even be in the same bed as Maura’s private parts 😂

This is an interesting set of questions regarding opposites: I 100% believe that Jane guards several close nerdy secrets about her interests and if Maura found conferences about the Salem Witch Trials or sports medicine, Jane would go. She’d gripe about it, but go and like it. She just has such a hard time sitting still.

I wrote an entire fic about Maura getting into sabermetrics because I wholeheartedly believe that if she were exposed to baseball that way, she’d fall in love with it. I believe she is against American football because of CTE and racism.

Jane will never be a morning person like Maura. She will also always be messy and disorganized while Maura needs everything in its place. Maura will never feel one hundred percent comfortable in sloppy, casual clothes, and Jane hates to dress up (but that blue suit? Papi vamos pa’ la cama, dime que hay 🫦). Jane will always be quick to anger and yelling while Maura is slow to it and prefers the silent treatment.

They have to fight about Jane’s slobbish tendencies, I know they do. So they argue (explosively as 3x01 and 3x02 taught us), but then Jane leaves little apology post it notes in her cute all caps handwriting on the coffee maker to make up. More seriously, I think they fight about money because of the huge disparity (though a detective’s salary is nothing to sneeze at with the time Jane’s put in. It just doesn’t compare to millions). I think they fight about Jane not being safe at work. I think makeup sex works for them because sometimes they both struggle to express in words how they’re feeling (hence Pyrite and CMWHS). Jane is supremely stubborn, but so is Maura so I agree with you that they both probably have fun with that.

Favorite The Originals episode or Top 5?

Oh, WOW. Where do I even begin? The Originals is such a strong series, and there are successions of episodes that are 5⭐️ all around.

Off the top of my head, I know I adore (and frequently rewatch) 5x12, "The Tale of Two Wolves." A stunning, heartbreaking, powerful episode in The Originals' final season.

3x02, "You Hung the Moon," stands out, too. The bridge scene in 3x21, "Give 'Em Hell Kid," is one of the pivotal, game-changing scenes in one of The Originals' best episodes.

1x10, "Casket Girls," 1x11, "Après Moi, Le Déluge," 1x16, "Farewell to Storyville," 1x22, "From a Cradle to a Grave," 2x09, "The Map of Moments," 3x09, "Savior," 3x14, "A Streetcar Named Desire," 5x03, "Ne Me Quitte Pas" — I could go on.

Sure thing.  I’ll give you the pieces I have locked down for sure through 3x09, so you get a “preview” of the next few episodes.

3x01: First Amendment, Second Chance.  John Peter Zenger (printer/writer whose slander case led to the freedom to criticize the government and eventually the First Amendment), New York City, NY, 1733.  This one actually takes place entirely post-mission, though.

3x02: Midnight Train to Baltimore.  Kate Warne (first female Pinkerton, protected Lincoln from an assassination attempt), Baltimore, MD, 1861.

3x03: Children of the Dragon. Sessue Hayakawa and Tsuru Aoki (Asian-American film stars of the silent era), Los Angeles, CA, 1918.

3x04: One Stone.  Mileva Marić (Serbian physicist, Einstein’s first wife), Zurich, Switzerland, 1900.

3x05: Addams Family Values.  Lucy Parsons and Jane Addams (social activists) with Kate Warne returning too, Chicago, IL, 1889

3x06: A Rumor In St. Petersburg.  Catherine the Great (empress of Russia), teenage John Quincy Adams (6th president of the US) and Elizabeth Dana (wife of Federalist politician Francis Dana, daughter of a signer of the Declaration of Independence), Aluksne, Latvia/Cambridge, MA/St. Petersburg, Russia, 1781.  This one gets geographically complicated, y'all.

3x07: Gold Mountain.  RUFUS CARLIN Y'ALL.  San Francisco, CA, 1888.3x08: Conestoga.  The Conestoga/Susquehannock tribe (early example of genocide against American natives and creating suspicion of non-whites as “enemy combatants”), Lancaster, PA, 1763.3x09: The Shotglass Heard Round the World.  The Stonewall rioters (LGBTQA rights), New York City, NY, 1969.

Thinking I’ll try to write through 3x07 for sure, if not 3x08 since I have that slated as December 2018 in my show timeline, before taking a break for the holidays.  I may do a couple of deleted scenes then during the break, and then pick up with 3x09 sometime early in 2019.  Still on the fence as to number of episodes.  Somewhere between 13 and 16. And yes, SOMEWHERE in here, Garcy will get their act together.  Or else.

If one thing is for certain, Barry almost always listens to Iris. Barry didn't want to tell Patty that he's the Flash until Iris convinced him. He asked for her opinion about whether to do the PA and she was like "Doesn't matter", even though she was scared for his life. He decided against it until it was necessary. Everybody told him not to be overconfident in 2x22, he only listened to Iris. What a pattern. 😄

And well he should listen to Iris. She’s the most level headed person on the entire team. Not to mention she’s also very compassionate, always trying to see how other people might react in a situation. You just know that Barry would be completely lost without Iris.

A little off topic but one of my favorite Iris moments this season was 3x02. Iris was the one who got the team back together. To make everyone see past their own hurt to realize they need to keep working together. How important it is to forgive. 

Iris is without the doubt the heart of Team Flash. Episode 3x19 only emphasized how they all fall apart without her there. In conclusion not only Barry should keep listening to her but EVERYONE needs to keep listening to her.
