I tried out a new technique!...im not gonna use it im throwing it out I don't like how it turned out but I do know what I DON'T want to do now so thats still progress

I do think the page turned out nicely it looks fine But its too detailed with the background shade and overall I feel like its a bit too strong, it would really tire me out to update a comic once a week if it took so long to make pages but I do like one of the effects I used to shade the room when it was fully dark so I think i'll use it again

My score: 8/10

Pros: Fun and rewarding gameplay and progression mechanics, level / weapon/ gadget variety, 100% completion just the right amount of hard to be worth it.

Cons: Dated humour, some weapons and gadgets are pretty much useless/only useful once, multiplayer is kinda boring, bad vehicle sections.

Full Review:

Ratchet and clank 3 is for a lot of people the peak of the ratchet and clank franchise and thats for good reason.

Gameplay/Visuals: This game pushed the playstation 2 to its limit with impressive scenery and set pieces and a variety of cool graphical tricks. From the swamps of Florana to the fluorescent hot pink musical mess of a planet that is Obani Draco to the trippy 3d cluster of planets of Obani Gemini this game doesn't leave you bored easily. The same can be said with the game's arena planet, a staple of the franchise, that not only offers the classic challenge levels but also incredibly fun gauntlet type levels. The same can't be said for most planets in the galaxy rangers story line that simply boil down to you attacking enemies or turrets on foot or in clunky vehicles until you win and go somewhere more interesting. The clank levels are overall alright and never overstay their welcome while the quark holographic game levels are quite fun though a bit hard. The weapons in the game are vary varied offering something for every playstyle. Some of my personal favourite include the plasma whip, the rift inducer and the bouncer(aka the win the game easily weapon). However despite the game having a grand total of 19 unique weapons, each one having it's own evolved variant, there is a serious balancing issue between them leading to most players never using a lot of them (eg the holoshield glove or the shock blaster).

Replaybility/Completion: In terms of replaybility and completion this game has a lot to offer from a second harder playthrough where you can get an even more evolved (and cooler) version of your weapons, to collecting every hidden titanium bolt which unlocks extra skins or skill points which unlock cheat codes. There's also hidden trophies that if collected can give players access to the insomniac museum a very interesting extra planet with cut content, dev commentary and behind the scenes look at the making of the game.

Plot/Themes: The plot is standard Ratchet and Clank comedic critism of capitalism and the culture surrounding it (albeit expectadly on a surface level). Our lombax protagonist and his robot friend is once again thrusted in an adventure to save the galaxy, this time from Doctor Nefarious (seriously) who's trying to turn every species into a robot.

The MUSIC: The ost is a real high point of this game (and every game in the franchise) with a variety of musical ensembles to fit each setpiece, various techno-y or breakbeat tracks with different musical themes and instrument, even a Britney Spears parody sung by a robot called Courtney Gears (again seriously).

Tldr: Incredibly fun and highly replayable game with a variety of interesting content both gameplay and visually wise. Mostly fun if not a bit tedious, eg the ranger levels, side content. Forgettable plot and very dated sense of humour. Banger soundtrack. Boring multiplayer mode. Personally highly recommended if you're looking for some platformer shooter fun without wanting to get too immersed in the story.

A custom sci-fi alien neighborhood with scripted events! ^^

Aileen LaFontaine's discovery of this moon has raised hope for people from all over the world. Sims from Pleasantview, Strangetown or Veronaville have left their homes for a better future on this moon!

But the environment seems rather intimidating than welcoming! Bizarre gravity. Swirly gas giant hovering over the ominous misty sky. Two pulsating suns?

Is the "New, Better" world really a better world?

You will find out as you play in the neighborhood! ;)

Neighborhood Information:

* Fully BG Compatible and No CC/EPs Required to play in this neighborhood! However, you may want to check out the optional sky mod I made specifically for this neighborhood.

* No camera mod needed to view the whole neighborhood.

* 59 lots (14 community / 45 residential) … with a few “ready-to-upgrade” lots for EPs, such as Nightlife, Open For Business, Apartment Life, etc.

* 15 families with scripted events/scenarios like in the TS2 base game neighborhoods (see attached screenshots below!)

Custom Scripted Events!

I really don't want to spoil too much on this already and just let you guys explore the neighborhood first, lol! But I've included an optional mod that introduces you the sims and their storylines a litte.

Simply remove it from the neighorhood folder once you've finished your first round (I recommend playing each family for one day to complete the scripted events). If you don't want to use this mod, you can also remove it from the neighborhood folder.

The recommended play order is exactly the way the families are presented in the neighborhood story. But you can play as you like, the scripted events are independent from each other and won't break if you choose a different play order.

Zhongli shield bot/support build guide!

More detailed info below!

!GENERAL INFO

Zhongli is a great unit with one of the best shields in the game and pretty good burst damage. This guide will mainly be for people who purely want to use him for his shield and not his burst damage. Overall, this is a pretty low investment build for Zhongli, so if you don’t feel like putting that much recourses into your Zhongli, this might be a great build for you! If there are any requests for a more damage orientated Zhongli, let me know and i’ll consider making one!

!ARTIFACTS

For late game players, tenacity of the millelith is the best set for shield bot/support Zhongli. With the 2 piece giving you more HP and the 4 piece buffing the other members in your team ATK. For main stats (sands, goblet and circlet), you want HP% as your main stat. For substats you’re looking for HP% and ER. The only exception is if you’re using favonious lance as a weapon! Because of it’s passive, you’re also gonna want CRIT Rate on your substats and circlet if you can’t get enough CRIT Rate from your substats alone. I recommend around 50% + CRIT Rate!

For early game players, 4 piece the exile is a great set! With the 4 piece giving energy to your whole team over 6 seconds every time you use Zhongli’s burst.

!WEAPONS

As for weapons, there are quite some good options. The weapons for shield bot Zhongli are also pretty F2P friendly. Overall, all these weapons are pretty good for shield bot/support Zhongli.

!TEAM COMPS/SYNERGY

For synergy, i mainly put geo characters, although this doesn’t mean Zhongli is only useful in geo teams! I mainly put geo characters because of the resonance you get when you have two or more geo characters in your team, giving you extra shield strenght and more geo damage. Now, this is not a must! If you’re considering, go for it since its really good.

Zhongli fits in almost any team comp, honestly you can throw him in any team as a shielder and you’ll be completely fine.

!CONCLUSION

Zhongli is a great unit to have if you’re looking for a good shielder. Shield bot/support Zhongli is quite F2P friendly and doesn’t need that much investment for him to do his job.

People think they cannot come to you with criticism. I thought that was something you were happy to " chat about " 🙄

i have to say i was considering just ignoring this but i’m a little too annoyed to do so. i don’t really get where this is coming from, because publicly, i’d say i’m fairly mild. if you know me privately and i’ve done something to upset you, perhaps keeping this between us (whoever you are) would've been a better avenue to actually discuss things. this being sent on anon with this tone (and the emoji) is super rude. if you're the same person sending similar messages to others, i don't get what you're getting out of sending passive aggressive messages anonymously. 

i would like to say, though: yes, criticism is absolutely a part of consuming content -- which is what i assume you meant -- and you're right on that! it doesn’t bother me if you or anyone else doesn’t like the way the season is going. that's fine by me, go ahead and dislike it...i'm sure you have your reasons, but if i choose not to engage with that because i like the way the season is going, that has...literally...nothing...to do with you? it's because i don't like to focus on the negatives/form my opinion of something until it's finished. i see no reason to be negative, right now. at the end of the season, i'll make my overall judgement of whether i'm satisfied or not...because i like to see the story in full before i decide if i think it worked. 

if you want to actually discuss the show with me, you're welcome to send an ask off anon or message me on discord, but otherwise i can't see how we can properly engage in a discourse that would be satisfying to either one of us, beyond one of us going "i don't like x y and z" and me responding with "i do". I've also never openly invited rookie discourse/critique anonymously to my ask box. my asks are open, sure, but my opinions of the show haven't even been posted beyond what i respond to in asks and what i put in the tags -- i limit my analysis and discussion of the show to DMs, so i'm not sure if you're confusing me with someone else, nor am i sure what you mean by "people" when the only content i've interacted with is gifs or these asks. i'm not "not allowing" anyone to not be critical, i'm simply saying that i have a right to want to limit those discussions to DMs and not write ad nauseam on my own blog about it.

I am so so sorry for my harsh words and attitude towards this project

I been struggleing with my fangame from the start and i felt jealous of seeing so many pepole get there projects finished along side getting support and haveing there loved ones support

While i got little to none along side haveing my parents wanting to use my fangame for money gain

I know this doesn’t excuse my actions and i know that i was shitty about them

And i’m truely sorry for it,

I replayed the second demo last night and had a hole lot of more fun than the other times i “critisized” said project,i get you’re trying your best and i’m glad my “critism” didn’t way you down,

During my recent replay of charge i found a hole lot more to love about it and enjoy

This is actually a very kind message, Anon. :0 Fangames can sure be frustrating to do, especially when you feel as though you have no support. So here's my advice to you:

Always have the number 1 goal of creating a fangame be for your own personal enjoyment. This should be something that you hold dear to your heart and should be a fun and enjoyable journey not just as a finished project, but as you build it.

Secondly, don't fret if you don't have a mass of fans and followers all over your project, especially if you don't have anything playable yet. It'll come, but you also shouldn't do this to get fans. Make something you want, not what others want and those who share that same love for the game as you do will find it.

Thirdly, remember your kindness as you have shown in this message you sent. It may seem silly to some, but being a kind and welcoming person is, not only the right thing to do from the start, but helps you overall reputation. Having a poor or great reputation among the community really will determine how many people will give your game a shot.

Don't let things get you down or jealous as all content creators work at different paces. Put some real love into your project and don't let it's popularity determine the worth of your game or self, and I know you'll make an outstanding game!

2How priveleged for example an American white woman owing the Instagram is not knowing this (is this heaven), the Instagram is very status quo with performative activism, "normal" is priveleged

About venting on social media/furthering the theme that life isn't perfect (basic)

Humanizing, the white woman is still a person

We shouldnt antagonize priveleged people just because (it's actually important to have them on our side, the revolution is about destroying the class divide not creating more (that interpretation is generous tho)

About the theme of shutting up

Kinda? I mean I understand? But also not really it's important to exchange ideas and that everyone can do it imo, like I think it's a good social change that we can freely (well debatable) say our opinions but maybe it just went in a misquided way and it's just an illusion of everyone telling their opinions when we're still talking about like western world but I might be going to far but I think I know what he's getting at but also hhhhhh

The format of the reaction video seemed a bit condescending at first but I actually find it compelling mostly because I struggle with the same stuff and the cycle of self awareness is very familiar to me and the coping mechanism of saying you know you suck because then you feel you have an advantage over the people who would say that to you but it's not healthy to do that and you're also self aware of that
