Jos kaipaatte tekemistä tulevana viikonloppuna (18.-19.5.2024), niin Oulussa järjestetään Kummacon ja siellä yhtenä ohjelmana on ihka oikea SuomiTumppu-paneeli! Kummacon on ilmainen, joten jos vaan aikaa ja intoa löytyy, niin teretulemast kuuntelemaan keskustelua yleisen pöljäilyn ohessa!

Kuvaus: Tumblr, tuo kummallisten somettajien erämaa! Tumblr tuntuu keräävän huomiota lähinnä, kun muut nettisivut pöljäilevät ja käyttäjät etsivät uutta kotia. Samalla Tumblr on kerännyt myös varsin paljon suomalaisia käyttäjiä. Mutta… onko Tumblrin suurin suosio jo takana? Tervetuloa kuuntelemaan, kun panelistit keskustelevat kaikesta maan, taivaan ja Tumblrin välillä!

Just as a heads up: The Oulu Comics Festival takes place this weekend at Valve, and I had the honour of designing the event’s poster and look this year. The artists’ ”band logos” were tremendous fun, so thank you for trusting me with this, Oulun Sarjakuvafestivaali / Oulu Comics Festival!

The Finnish edition of Belzebubs vol. 2 will be published at the festival on Friday, along with numerous other titles from other artists, and I can’t wait to get the book out to you guys (and yes, other language editions will be coming out, too, don’t worry). I’ll naturally be there signing books and selling merch throughout Saturday, so do pop by if you’re in the neighbourhood! 🤘

Besides the new release, I also have two exhibitions at the event, the other one showcasing various Belzebubs works, the other featuring my contribution to the Diascon project: excerpts from refugee interviews which I adapted into documentary short-stories (more info at www.diascon.eu, if you’re interested).
