The entitlement Osmund Saddler holds for Ashley Graham is so... URGH!!!

The fact he kidnapped her in the first place, him stuffing her (at least being contempt with her being there, don't remember the exact lore on that) into a dingy church attic (while she cried her eyes out the whole time btw), telling his followers to continue pursuring her endlessly when she's finally freed, stuffing her into a dingy cell on top a dingy ass mattress, forcing her to kill people—particularly wanting her to kill Leon, the one person who has kept her alive this whole time—with no consideration for how she might feel about it, his constant preaches about "saving" and "guiding" her, him referring to her as "our newest daughter" (therefore as his daughter), and becoming furious when he finds out hers, as well as Leon's Plagas have been removed. The way he puts her on such a pedestal but simultaneously treats her so poorly... it feels so clear to me that he does not really view her as a person, or at least cares very, VERY little for her feelings.

She is first and foremost a tool, that is only useful in what she can provide him. She is extraordinarily valuable in her being the key to infecting all of America, in theory, but when it comes to actually interacting with her in person... he doesn't treat her with any amount of respect. Something she hasn't even done yet, only something he planned out beforehand and forced her to go through with—a plan that might not even work—is the only thing that gives her worth. But I don't think he mistreats her out of malice. It's more that, he truly believes he loves her, because to him, infecting people with Las Plagas is a gift, as "it's the solution to save humanity." So of course, he doesn't think he's done anything wrong. Maybe he hurts people along the way, but what he does is for the ultimate greater good, so anyone who opposes him must just be irrational and not seeing the bigger picture. But really, he only loves what she can theoretically do for him. Not actually *her*. Ashley only matters to him if she can further spread Las Plagas, never complain, never disobey, and mindlessly love him. So if she can't do that, it infuriates him like nothing else.
