Good time of day so if origins!Wilbur died and became a phantom at say 16, do you think he wouldn't age afterwards. Do you think his little brother who was 8 years younger would be older and more mature one day? I'm just thinking it fits so well with o!Wilbur's social anxiety and overall awkwardness that mans got stuck in a teenage brain and body. Think of the angst, the frustration and feeling of incompetency. The subconscious resentment when his baby brother doesn't turn to him for advice anymore, asks him to participate in shenanigans and not vice versa. His baby brother who now comforts HIM, and not vice versa. Oooh, do you think thats why he gets obsessed with trinkets and books? To feel like he collects things, grows and learns and evolves, to counterpose the feeling of stagnation?

Hiatus

Hey guys. BearMage (mun) here. I got the flu, a really bad case of it. So, I'm taking a few days off replies and starters to get better. I'll still be lingering around liking posts and reblogging memes on here and my main, but - again - replies and starters are on hold for me until I get better.

Ello! Thanks for the request. I probably wont do proper backgrounds on all of these but you mentioned ring lake and I wanted to push myself to not just draw characters in a blank void (That being said I didn’t look at references at all sooo uhm it probably isn’t accurate to what ring lake looked like at all lol). For the sake of idk following lore or whatever lets say my gloomy shading is cause its cloudy or rainy or nighttime idk pick your poison with that .

Also uhm dont mind the fact that there’s two versions i really wanted to draw my phantombur design again since its been a while… And like might as well post both of them if i spent the time redrawing parts of it

Anyway hope you like this! It was fun outside of all the times i wanted to die trying to figure out how backgrounds work, but that parts on me not you lol. Yeah uh hope you enjoy! feel free to ask for changes if ya want im more than happy to fix things if need be -Phil

The Final Item (Starter)

Wilbur was minding his own business, out of his village collecting resources for his people. Even though his people were mostly hunters and gathers, there were some things even they needed from modern society and the people of The Origin were not that stuck-up that they couldn't admit it.

Wilbur sighed as he looked at his list; the last thing he needed was a single vile of Compound V. Wilbur's people used it in potions to make them more potent in case of emergencies. Wilbur makes his way to the coordinates his pal Scott Smajor gave him to find more.

Wilbur wasn't looking where he was going and cursed as he bumped into a woman with red hair wearing odd-looking armor.

Wilbur was currently invisible, so to the woman it felt like she hit a invisible wall. Wilbur sighs and blinks back into existence to avoid her freaking out.

"Please don't freak out," he says, hands only made of bone raised in a peaceful gesture, "I didn't mean to bump ya! You okay?"
