honestly, as much it’s entertaining watching 2 uninterrupted minutes of Lars drumming and making faces (which are part of the drumming technique, i swear that if he doesnt move his tongue his feet dont work or something), it was also interesting listening the mix from that point? which sounds to my untrained ears sounds different in some places, from the sound of the dvd.

And this?? like dhfkjshfkjsf i dont think anyone except the band will ever experience what Metallica sounds like on the drumriser. So, this? This is really fucking cool.

did you also kinda waited/wished for James’ leg to make a cameo on the vid? fdjkfhskjfh as sometimes does, to play ‘right in the face’, or rob’s hair flying!! jdfhskjfd that way we would have a real lars’ drumkit experience.

Sem dúvida alguma minha banda e música preferidas. Passam anos e essa constante não muda. Nothing else Matters é uma das músicas mais lindas que o Metallica já compôs. O vídeo faz parte do DVD "Orgullo Pasion y Gloria: Tres Noches en la ciudad de Mexico" filmado durante a World Magnetic Tour, a mais recente turnê da banda. Eu tive a oportunidade de ver essa música tocada ao vivo, durante a apresentação da banda em São Paulo em 2010. Foi lindo, emocionante, empolgante, excitante e sabe-se lá quantos outros adjetivos eu poderia usar aqui. Ver sua banda preferida tocando sua música preferida ao vivo, na sua frente, não tem preço. E por isso eu não poderia deixar de postar algo do Metallica aqui.

Without a doubt my favorite band and music. They spend years and this constant does not change. Nothing Else Matters is one of the most beautiful songs that Metallica has written. The video is part of the DVD "Orgullo y Pasion Gloria: Tres Noches en la ciudad de Mexico" shot during the World Magnetic Tour, the band's latest tour. I had the opportunity to see this song performed live during the band's performance in Sao Paulo in 2010. It was beautiful, amazing, thrilling, exciting and who knows how many other adjectives I could use here. See your favorite band playing your favorite music live in front of you is priceless. And so I could not help but post something from Metallica here.

Orgullo, Pasión, y Gloria: Tres Noches en la Ciudad de México - 2009

Between Death Magnetic and Hardwired, Metallica released 5 live albums. This one and the Big Four concerts are the best, so I’ll focus on this one.

Mexico City is a favorite for these guys to play, and they always get great crowds there. The real draw here is getting to hear Robert Trujillo play Metallica’s greatest hits live. He fits perfectly with what Metallica is doing. He’s not trying to replace Jason or Cliff, and he just naturally fits the sound of the band.

The standouts are getting to hear Rob perform “For Whom the Bell Tolls” in front of a packed audience, and a full performance of “…And Justice for All” as the penultimate finale.
