He said that the government planned to invest about Rs 10,000 crore for various infrastructural projects. Singh stated that the Haryana government also planned to form a single agency responsible for the construction and upkeep of roads. At present, there are five agencies involved, which is diluting accountability, he said. “People can register complaints about roads on the app ‘Harpath Haryana’. If these complaints are not addressed within 72 hours, the concerned authorities will be penalised," he added.

Singh also resolved an ongoing issue about a gate in Uniworld Gardens. “This gate, which is situated at the rear of the society, can be kept open, so residents can have easier access to the condominium," he said.

During his visit, the minister also planted saplings with manure produced in the society’s own waste plant.

So what are residents saying after this visit? “We have been contending with encroachments outside our condominiums. Moreover, the Swachh Bharat initiatives, too, are rarely implemented on Sohna Road. I hope steps are taken to resolve these issues too,” said Shatrughan, a condominium resident.
