A RACE TO YOUR HEART | naruto boys | gn!reader| modern au!

Plot: the boys are competeting in a race for a date with you (idea from a genshin playlist on yt)

A/n: English is not my first language so please excuse any mistakes , and this is really long so please let me know what you think and if i should edit anything or if you got tips on what i could improve

The cars were aligned waiting for your starting Signal. Naruto brought the idea up and surprisingly they all agreed to it , even indra and tobirama.

The race had only one rule , no jutsu or sharringan everything else was pretty much allowed.

They were talking shit to eachother mostly , tobirama close to jumping out of his car to beat up madara and naruto and sasuke doing their usual arguing . Kakashi and obito exchanged deathglares while indra stayed quiet and focused. (A/n indras personality is slightly changed btw)

You smiled wielding the flag downwards .

First to start was naruto in a modern bright yellow car with Orange Details, then sasuke in a lamboghini aventador with pumped up handling in a shiny black . closely followed by the dark grey sportscar (mclaren mp4 c12 but speed was improved) of tobirama wich had the senju Clan Symbol on its Front.

Next Was kakashi . He took off with a wink at you in his silver Lamborghini aventador with black lightning details across its sides . Next Was the matt Black car of madara with golden fancy decorations of symbols (Paganini huarya) and the red ,decorated with matt Black crows , car of itachi .

Closely followed by the matt Black Paganini zonda r of obito who gave you a oh so selfconfident smile before hitting the gas . And last but not least indra hit the gas on his pure matt white bughatti Vision Gt decorated with purple ink stains and other stuff .

This race was going 3 laps, the Route wasnt exactly easy . Too much Speed could throw one off it . Handling mattered a lot .

The boys were gone fast from your Vision, you hoped (fav character) would win but all of them had enough experience .

After 2 minutes or so 2 cars appeared behind the corner , indras matt white bughatti and madaras car in a close tie of overtaking eachother . Just like tobirama , madara pumped up his car for more speed . But indra had a lot of experience on this road . Behind them naruto and kakashi appeared close behind them sasuke popped up inbetween obito and tobirama . Itachi also showed up and took narutos place with what looked like ease throwing naruto into the place behind him

Meanwhile madara took the lead and kept indra exactly behind him

Tobirama , now racing to the Front overtook madaras place earning some curse from the Black haired male

Indra fell back to last as sasuke rammed into his side giving him a hard time to get back in control

Kakashi and naruto were busy trying to overtake eachother unable to notice obito racing past them , Window down, flipping kakashi off

Tobirama was now struggling with madara trying to get back to first place

Naruto finally overtook kakashi and was now struggling with obito

The males raced past you . shortly after they disappeared behind the corner again leaving you to guess whats going on

The holder of the first place changed rapidly as the last lap began

Noone wouldve Been able to oversee who was in wich place , it changed too fast .

They raced past you once again behind the curve.

You were exited and worried who might come out first

A Minute or so passed and the first car showed up

Kakashi

The silver Lamborghini of kakashi showed up , a good distance to the 2nd place - indra

The car drove through the finish line , slamming the Breaks as hard as he could and stopping with a drift . You rolled your eyes "such a showoff" you thought but still smiled at him as he left his car while the others came to a stop too

You secretly hoped it was him who eon it and he did it . You could see the grin beneath his mask as he walked up to you "So, when and where dear y/n?" He asked as smooth as the polish on his car

(Others were secretly pouting behind him lmfao)

Madara

You saw the Paganini huarya pulling up , itachi close behind but unable to overthrow madara in time

As soon as he passed the finish line madara slammed onto the Breaks . He waited a bit Till everyone arrived before stepping out . "And who won dear?" He asked his voice filled with pride and already knowing who you were going to say .

You wished from the start that madara would win it and of course he did , how could you ever doubt the god of War and racing ?

"You madara " you answered with a smile seeing the others look pissed off , disappointed in themself or just getting into their car again

"So where would you like our date to be?" He asked , a strong flirtly undertone present.

Naruto

The bright yellow car Was closely followed by sasuke but naruto kept the uchiha succesfully behind him.

After crossing the finish line he basically jumped out of his car and ran to you "So, i got the date with you?!" He asked and you smiled "yay!" He cheered punching the air with one fist

Sasuke

Sasuke drove through the finish line , a good bit of distance to kakashi who was behind him

Sasuke didnt leave his car in a hurry like most of the others did . In fact he flashed you this "proud of himself" smile before leaving it and walking up to you

"So , where and when do you want to go?" He asked that smile still present on his lips . You smiled back at him suggesting (your fav place)

Itachi

The Red car with crows decorating its body , closely followed by indra . Near the finish line indra almost overtook him but itachi crissed the finishline in time

Itachi halted his car close to you , looking over to you and giving you a warming smile . "When are we having the date?" He asked while slamming the car door shut

"How about tomorrow?" You suggested smiling back noticing the grumpy and sad looks of the other boys behind him . "Sure , let me know where and when and I'll pick you up" he replied

Obito

The matt Black zonda easily overtook madara in the curve with a skilled , perfect timed drift. Both uchihas fought over the 1st place before the zonda r crossed the finish linish first

Out came obito , smiling proud of his skill and amused by madaras look

He walked straight up to you "when and where dear?" He asked leaning down to your ear .

You could hear this mans wide grin in his voice . "How about 8pm at (fav. Place) ?" You suggested feeling a blush creep up your face by how close He was

"Sounds sweet . I'll pick you up on point " he grinned and straightened his back again before giving on last glare like "i won , haha" to the other racers

Indra

His skilled hands threw the handwheel around just in time to hit the curve perfectly . Indras handling Was easily better than narutos so he was able to steal the first place from him quiet easily

Crossing the finish line and stopping with a 360° drift near you just proved this guys want to show off

And out came the maybe most skilled driver of them all , indra. He walked up to you amused by the glares He got . "So where would you like to go darling?" He asked with a flirty and proud undertone "how about (fav place)?" You replied .

"Cool with me , is 9pm okay? I need to get the scratches etc fixed first" he asked pointing to where sasuke rammed into his car earlier in the race .

"Yep" you smiled and caught a glance of indras smile before he turned around "perfect , ill pick you up 9pm tomorrow on point"

Tobirama

The mclaren mp4 c12 pulled around the corner with impressive accuracy and speed , closely followed by indra .

Those must've been the most heated last 200m you have ever seen .

Indra fighting for the first place while the senju had trouble keeping indra behind him

In the end tobirama came in first , stopping the car rather softly but in a " cool " way

He didnt go out of his car so you went to check on him and found him rubbing his Temple trying to get rid of the headache

You knocked on his Window getting his attention . He instantly rolled it down and apologised.

"Aw dont apologise tobi you won! " you cheered giving him a warm smile

His lips slightly curved upwards into a smile , a rare sight . "So how about 4pm at (fav place) ?" You suggested

"Sounds good to me , i'll pick you up " he answered catching madaras jealous glare in his rearview mirror

He felt pretty good after that

This exposé of Moscow’s funeral business is a snapshot of modern Russia

This week our main story is a summary of Ivan Golunov’s powerful investigation into Moscow’s funeral business that takes in everything from venal intelligence officers to Lamborghinis, nightclubs and a cemetery shoot-out. We also analyse the blame game among officials as the Russian economy slides towards recession, and lay out what we know about the fire that struck a top-secret nuclear submarine operating in the Arctic.

This exposé of Moscow’s funeral business is a snapshot of modern Russia Journalist Ivan Golunov said last month in court that his yet-to-be published investigation about Moscow’s funeral business may have been the reason he was arrested on fabricated drug charges. Since then, seven Russian publications, including The Bell, have been helping him finish the investigation, which was published this week. The article is extremely complex, but paints a compelling picture of today’s Russia: from pitched battles in cemeteries to the security services, pyramid schemes and an orange Lamborghini worth over $300,000.

While Russian law states that every citizen must be provided with a free burial, in reality, this is impossible in Moscow. A space in a cemetery far from the city costs 1 million rubles ($16,000), while a plot in a prestigious cemetery near the center can cost up to 4 million roubles ($70,000). It is a cynical business: to get commissions from grieving relatives, undertakers use a network of compromised doctors and police officers. But it is also lucrative: Moscow’s funeral market is estimated to be worth 13 billion roubles ($200 million) annually. The state company that owns Moscow’s cemeteries is called Ritual.

The funeral business has always been highly criminalized. Since the early 2010s, the most prestigious Moscow cemeteries have been run by former officials from Moscow region. In 2016, one of these ex-officials hired thugs to pressure workers from Tajikistan employed in one of the cemeteries and a huge brawl broke out, guns were pulled and three people were killed.

After this scandal, Artyom Yekimov, a former police officer, was put in charge of Ritual in the hope he would restore order. Day-to-day management was handled by Yekimov’s deputy, Valerian Mazaraki, a businessman with a dubious reputation. In the early 2000s, Mazaraki owned a vodka factory jointly with his brother, Lev, in Stavropol region in southern Russia. When the authorities tried to shut down the factory for using illegal alcohol, Mazaraki tried to set-up a lottery scheme, but that too was shut down for the illegal use of a photograph of Dmitry Medvedev. In the early 2010s, the Mazaraki brothers worked as top managers in banks known for money laundering. Then, along with Mazaraki, at least 12 people from Stavropol — including a local singer and a former cruise ship waiter — were given managerial positions at Ritual.

However, it’s likely that neither the former Moscow region officials, nor the appointees from Stavropol, are the real beneficiaries of Ritual. Marat Medoev, the man behind the appointment of Yekimov, is an assistant to Aleksei Dorofeev, the Moscow head of the FSB, Russia’s domestic security service. Meduza’s sources referred to Dorofeev as a “demigod”, explaining that even some senior figures at the FSB can’t get an appointment with him. Dorofeev, Medoev, and Mazaraki own houses next to each other in the same luxury development outside Moscow.

Russia wouldn’t be Russia if this alliance of security service officers and questionable businessmen didn’t make extravgant purchases. And, sure enough, Lev Mazaraki’s wife owns one of the most expensive cars in Moscow, an orange Lamborghini Aventador LP that cost no less than $300,000. Their son was the owner of several expensive night clubs in Moscow favored by playboys with rich parents.

Officials are scrabbling for a way of staving off economic recession The liberal economists in government have a problem: the Russian economy is not just stagnating, but showing signs of recession. The only way to restore growth without serious structural reform is for the government to invest tens of billions of dollars. While the state doesn’t have a problem with access to funds, an influx of cheap money could drive up inflation.

Signs of a recession appeared one after another this week. First, it emerged that railroad cargo volumes fell 5.4 percent in June, which, for the Russian market, is almost as good an indicator of recession as the inverted yield curve is for economic fortunes in the United States (needless to say, railroad cargo volumes fell badly ahead of the economic crises of 2008-2009 and 2013-2016). Second, we learned that the PMI index of business activity fell below 50 points in June for the first time since 2016. Add to this that Russian GDP grew only 0.2 percent in May, and by 0.8 percent in the first half of 2019, and the picture is not a pretty one. This level of economic growth is not enough to meet the official forecast of 1.3 percent growth this year, let alone the 3 percent annual growth President Vladimir Putin is demanding for his fourth term.

The main victim of a recession could be Putin’s favorite, Minister of Economic Development Maksim Oreshkin (GDP growth is his responsibility). Oreshkin is in a difficult position. As a former investment banker, he understands that growth is impossible without reducing pressure on private businesses and judicial reform — but he doesn’t have the power to make such things happen. Oreshkin can only try to blame others: last week, he said twice that the Russian economy’s number one problem is a credit bubble that the Central Bank isn’t tackling.

Elvira Nabiullina, the head of the Central Bank, responded to Oreshkin in an interview with Reuters. Her main point was that stagnation is being caused not by sanctions, which officials like to blame, but by domestic problems: business is depressed, real incomes are not growing, and major reforms are off the agenda. She added that attempts to stimulate growth with cheap state money will destroy macroeconomic stability, and significant interventions by the Central Bank will lead to an increase in inflation and a bubble in financial markets.

The day after her interview, Nabiullina admitted her tough talk will not lead to change. “We have been saying the same words for many years. At first, they seemed correct, then commonplace, then like the empty words of officials — but now they sound like a cries of despair,” she said (Rus) at a banking conference. This is an admission that the Russian economy is at a dead end. While reform is needed for growth, there is no political will for difficult decisions. Ironically, the regime needs growth to survive: Putin’s approval ratings are falling alongside real incomes.

Why the world should care Government investment remains the only way of creating growth. But despite Nabiullina’s warnings over this path, it appears almost inevitable — and that means that the risk of inflation will increase. The Russian Central Bank may be forced into raising rates.

A fatal nuclear submarine accident in the Arctic remains shrouded in secrecy Fourteen sailors died as a result of an onboard fire this week on a nuclear submarine that is part of the navy’s Northern Fleet. While we know the vessel managed to return to port, the public was given almost no details about the accident or, most importantly of all, whether there was any serious threat to the stability of the nuclear reactor.

For Russians, a submarine accident is a particularly emotive event because of memories of the Kursk submarine disaster 19 years ago that defined the beginning of Putin’s presidency. Aside from the horrific death toll, the accident is remembered for the lies told by the military, who revealed the catastrophe one and a half days after it occurred, refused foreign aid and concealed information from relatives of the dead.

Secrecy was also a hallmark of the latest accident. The fire was only announced a day after it happened, and there still has been no official confirmation of the vessel on which it occurred. On the one hand, this isn’t surprising: no one doubts the fire took place on board the Losharik, a top-secret vessel capable of diving to depths of up to 6,000 meters (the U.S. considers it to be a sabotage submarine, which can cut deep water communication cables). On the other hand, just like with the Kursk, it wouldn’t be a bad thing for society to know the circumstances surrounding an accident on a nuclear-powered submarine. Officially, the Ministry of Defense has given the cause of the fire, but they managed to do this without revealing anything of note.

No one doubts that the military has to keep secrets, but in the 21st century there is a high risk of being found out anyway — and looking a fool. An excellent example of this is the sole existing photograph of the Losharik, which all Russian and international media used in their reporting of the incident. In 2015, the top-secret submarine accidently appeared in a photo published by the Russian version of car magazine Top Gear, which had organized a photo shoot for a new Mercedes on the edge of the Barents Sea.

Aria's Orange Adventure: Riding with Nanna in the Lamborghini Aventador

Prabhas had always been passionate about cars, and his latest acquisition, a stunning Lamborghini Aventador Roadster in a striking orange color, was no exception. As he proudly showed off his new car to his family, his four-year-old daughter Aria's eyes widened in awe at the sight of the sleek sports car.

"Nanna, it's so cool!" Aria exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement as she ran her small hands over the smooth surface of the car.

Prabhas grinned, scooping Aria up into his arms. "Do you like it, bangaru?" he asked, his heart swelling with pride at her enthusiasm.

Aria nodded eagerly, her curly hair bouncing as she nodded. "Yes, Nanna! It's the best car ever!" she replied, her eyes shining with admiration.

Shreya chuckled, joining her husband and daughter by the car. "It's definitely a head-turner," she agreed, smiling at Prabhas.

Prabhas nodded, his grin widening. "How about we go for a ride, Aria?" he suggested.

Aria's face lit up with excitement at the idea. "Yes, please, Nanna! Can we?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Prabhas glanced at Shreya, who nodded in agreement. "Alright, let's go for a ride," he replied, gently lowering Aria onto the passenger seat of the Lamborghini.

Aria squealed with delight as she settled into the luxurious leather seat, her hands running over the dashboard with wonder. "It's so fancy, Nanna!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement.

Prabhas chuckled, buckling Aria into her seatbelt before sliding into the driver's seat. "Hold on tight, bangaru. We're going for a ride," he said, revving the engine of the Lamborghini.

Shreya stood back, watching with a smile as her husband and daughter prepared to embark on their adventure. "Be careful, you two," she called out, waving goodbye as they pulled out of the driveway.

As they hit the open road, Aria's laughter filled the air, her excitement contagious as they sped through the streets of Hyderabad. The wind whipped through her hair, her laughter mingling with the roar of the engine as they zoomed past other cars.

"Nanna, this is so much fun!" Aria exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy as they cruised along the highway.

Prabhas grinned, his heart swelling with happiness at the sight of his daughter's pure delight. "I'm glad you're having a good time, bangaru," he replied, glancing over at her with a fond smile.

As they drove, Prabhas pointed out some of the city's landmarks to Aria, explaining their significance and sharing stories from his own childhood. Aria listened intently, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in the sights and sounds of the bustling city around them.

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the skyline, Prabhas decided to take Aria to one of their favorite spots—a scenic overlook that offered breathtaking views of the city below.

As they arrived, Aria's eyes widened in amazement at the sight before her. "Wow, Nanna, it's beautiful!" she exclaimed, her small hand reaching out to grasp Prabhas' as they stepped out of the car.

Prabhas smiled, lifting Aria up in his arms as they walked to the edge of the overlook. Together, they stood in awe, taking in the panoramic vista spread out before them.

"It's moments like these that make life truly special, Aria," Prabhas said, his voice filled with emotion as he gazed out at the city below.

Aria nodded, her gaze fixed on the horizon. "I love you, Nanna," she whispered, her voice soft and sincere.

Prabhas hugged Aria tightly, his heart overflowing with love for his precious daughter. "I love you too, bangaru," he replied, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

As they watched the sun sink below the horizon, bathing the city in a warm golden light, Prabhas knew that this day would be one they would cherish forever—a day filled with love, laughter, and precious memories shared between a father and his adoring daughter, Aria.

With the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster Lamborghini's Centro Stile design team and Ad Personam department have drawn on the virtually limitless color and trim options available through Lamborghini's personalization program, with the collaboration creating eight exclusive new design expressions. Available to just 63 owners worldwide, each of the eight unique combinations comprises an exotic exterior and interior, unique to the Roadster version of the SVJ 63.The exterior styling is specifically developed for the Roadster model, with a matt or shiny carbon fiber upper part that includes roof, engine cover, engine air vents, windscreen rim and wing mirrors. A new matt titanium finish features on the Leirion forged rims and the car carries the SVJ 63 livery, as well as a '1 of 63' numbered plate.Inside, three color schemes in Alcantara, featuring carbon fiber elements throughout the cockpit, are complemented by Lamborghini's patented lightweight CarbonSkin. A badge on the steering wheel endorses the car as one of a limited edition, as does a '63' logo on the rear wall in Alcantara and CarbonSkin.The car is shown on the concept lawn in Pebble Beach in a matt grey Grigio Acheso, set off by the dominance of the visible carbon fiber exterior elements. Details in orange Arancio Dac include SVJ and '63' logos, with the matt titanium rims featuring an Arancio central locking plate.Inside, tri-tone Alcantara upholstery in Grigio Octans (grey), Grigio Cronus (grey) and Arancio Dryope (orange) is combined with carbon fiber and CarbonSkin. The carbon fiber sports seats are finished with white Q-Citura cross stitching while the '63' logo behind the seats in carbon fiber and lasered Alcantara reminds the occupants of the exclusivity of this SVJ Roadster.The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster upholds the exceptional performance, handling and aerodynamic superiority of the SVJ coupé. Sporting the 'Super Veloce' for superfast and 'Jota' suffix signifying the car's performance and track prowess, its coupé stablemate took the Nürburgring-Nordschleife production car record. Outputting 770 CV (566 kW) at maximum 8,500 rpm, the SVJ delivers 720 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, with a weight-to-power ratio of 2.05 kg/CV. The SVJ Roadster accelerates from standing to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.8 seconds.
