Marina dressed as... Who?

Yeah, I dressed her up as Opa Opa from Fantasy Zone of all things. I wanted to spread the word about that fun little game and Marina was thw best way to do it!

My childhood was filled with it. It came out in the late 80s. I, of course, was born in 2004, but was able to play it thanks to a little SEGA game collection thing we had when I was a kid that had Fantussy Zone (Nice) on it! I can still hear that death jingle in my nightmares...

Cringetober Day 9 - Childhood Video Game

Rant under the cut!

This was my FAVORITE game when I was a kid, I would literally make everyone play with me, parents, sibling, cousins, uncles, friends. When I started playing I was awful at it but I gradually got better to the point I'd beat everyone while playing

I have great memories with the game, I didn't understand English so I didn't know what I was doing, but GOD was it a vibe! The fun characters, the beautiful maps, the cool power ups, and that AMAZING soundtrack, I listen to it to this day!!!!! Ulala was my favorite character to use, even tho she wasn't that good, but I really liked her dance and song in the power up so I only used her lmao

Transformed just doesn't hit the same you know? The transformations are cool, but I feel like a lot was sacrificed for it, the maps, characters and the power ups are the big reasons I don't feel the same while playing, it's also not as hard in a fun way

Very excited to finally own a copy of the complete Zillion series boxset from Funimation. Sadly this is a North American exclusive so you have to import if you live outside that region. Zillion features a SEGA promotional cameo by Opa-Opa from Fantasy Zone and SEGA even modelled the Master System Light Phaser on the iconic weapon from the show
