Get lost in the sauce. To be exact, just four sauce. Sauce may be "no sauce".
Okay, so: there's a local restaurant whose online ordering process involves various selecting various sauces to be included with one's order – so many units of teriyaki sauce, so many units of hot sauce, so may units of peanut sauce, and so forth.
The idea is supposed to be that you can select any combination of sauces you want, as long as it adds up to no more than four units. However, what the app actually required is that you select exactly four units of sauces; it wouldn't let you submit the ordering form if the total wasn't exactly four.
Just today I discovered that they seem to have fixed it... not by correcting the errant validation rule, but by adding a "no sauce" option, which counts toward the required total of four.
Thus, it's now possible to place an order with, say, two units of teriyaki sauce rather than four by entering 2x "teriyaki sauce" and 2x "no sauce". Similarly, an order with no sauce at all is 4x "no sauce".
This is quite possibly the least intuitive ordering process I've ever encountered, and I've literally worked in e-commerce.

Has anyone ordered anything off the TikTok Shop (in any capacity) before? I ask because I'm debating on making an order on there (for 2 books that come as a set), yet due to a past experience on the platform that went badly for me, I'm very wary.
Basically, last fall, I'd tried to order a purse & wallet set from a TikTok Shop seller. It was rather expensive, close to $70 USD. My bank promptly flagged & blocked my credit card (in their defense, they were just doing their job ... which I heartily appreciate 🙏🏻) yet I had to spend over an hour on the phone with them getting my card un-blocked so I could use it again. 🫣 Even more frustrating for me, was the TikTok shop itself automatically declined this order, mere seconds after I tapped on the final "Place Order" button. I reached out to the seller & several hours later, they wrote me back with a cursory message, saying "oh well, sorry, i hope it gets sorted out soon for you". No further offer to help or anything.
So, you can see why I'm willing to pay full price (with no "new customer 50% off" coupon) for 2 paperback books on Amazon instead. This seller was actually kind enough to message me back, saying that any support helps (no matter which platform I buy on), the only thing being I wouldn't get any of her freebie decal stickers with an Amazon purchase.

I ordert from books2door and my books arrived yesterday so here is a review of that:
this combination is wild
Time to deliver:
I ordered them on wednsday last week so they took 8 days to deliver (england —> germany) so super fast.
Price:
I got three box sets (All of shatter me, Heros of the olymp and the natuals) they were all on sale and in total they were around 81£ i think. Delivery was 10£ but it still was completely worth it because the books on there own would have coat me 140£ here in germany.
State of the books:
Someone on TikTok said that through the wrapping and the tap the books get a little squeezed but that wasn’t the case. I have to say they don’t look completely new there are small ditches on the cornea of the books but I think for the price they are REALLY good. they were also wrapped in plastic so that was good.
Packaging:
The delivering box had a reasonable size. I don’t think they could have made it any smaller without damaging the books but I think it’s a good thing. The books don’t fly around and it doesn’t use up any unnecessary paper so that was really good.
all in all I would definitely order from there again. it was totally worth it. at fist I had a little double if it would scame me but that is not the case
