I want to add to the importance of being capable of online research a bit. See, a few people above have mentioned that browsing the library stacks is a viable option to find resources. Well, that's not the case everywhere! When I started uni, I've been fully prepared to spend my hours between the library stacks in the history section to find books and articles,,, until I realised there is no such thing as a history section at my university. Our library owns a few million books and articles (5 million? I think?) And they are not sorted by anything other than the year they have been acquired and a running number for that year. No other system. You HAVE to find the book/article/whatever first online before you can even think of going down those catacombs and get it.
That being said, GO TO YOUR RESEARCH COURSES AT UNI.
Every single one.
Go to them, find out how to use all the databases and websites.
This is why classes need library instruction
Student: I can’t find any scholarly articles on this subject!
Me: Okay, what’s the subject?
Student: Creating a culture of sharing in west-coast technological companies.
Me: Alright, and what/where have you tried searching?
Student: I searched “creating a culture of sharing in west-coast technological companies” on the library website!

My Life drawing
I was pretty picky person when I have to be pick out my live drawings well. It wasn't that easy for me to choose which one is the suitable type one for me. and this lost two or three weeks I had been studying a lot. I was studying abstract driving silver drawings. I also studying now. a lot about shading a lot shaded. finding the right angle and finding the right tolerant for my models when I was sketching them and trying out new materials using pastels ink markers. charcoals and chokes That's mainly using for my live drawings. I also used some coloured pastels. I usually just focus. on either the model or either I try to be finding the right spot It was a bit difficult for me to switching seeds with the classroom because it's the classroom is fully packed so it was fined to hold the right spot for me and keep switching so every single day I was choosing out my spots in a different direction and try to be find the present. right position for myself. I also had a little chance to do in life drawing to try out how was Amanda. The model had been keep moving around doing some motions, doing some birds of prayers as well to sketching the. birds with his owner who bring his buds in It was like a very, very interesting experiment.
I've decided to choose this week or Wednesday, live during the 16th of. October. Live drawings. I had been selected. The reason I chose to do this is because it represents genders. However, it is not just about gender switches because two models were sketched and roles switched. So Amanda had been played. Um. The male parts when they're dressed up, and Gavin is the same. Played the female model well. I felt like whenever I saw him play. The role of a character I could see. How could I be deeply involved, and how could I really be? Play intensely in a much like authentic character. What I meant about this is that Amanda and Alvin were playing power between each other. So it was showing like. At the beginning of my mind, I would say it popped something from Twist Oliver, but to be fair, it wasn't like that because Twist Oliver is a child's tale. So. it was like showing the power of how the male model dressed up as a female model, presenting the power of a lie. Look, I was a female. I could be a female because, at that time, females were not allowed to do any role-playing. It was tough for many women, and also, just a mole could be dressing up, and this is just like showing the power of what it seemed to me he had in his hand, and he could do anything. He also showed how. Was a child was running away from. The woman, I guess it was a bit pretty difficult for me to explain this character I had seen in the models. Because, like I said, that's like a renovation from the twist Oliver, but it wasn't like that from my presentation as it seemed for me when. Amanda was taking the ones away from Gavin. It looks like Amanda had picked out the power of Gavin, and she decided to show she had the power now, and he still didn't seem to show any fear. He was like Chauvin like. He shows a thirst in his eyes as he says, yes, that's what I wanted to see, so it was like he was trying to provoke her with something like yes, that's what I wanted to see. So it seems to me it's about some provocation. It's tough for me to tell that, but there are facial reactions of thirst for provocation, and she was 1 to get provoked and run away from the provocation. Where she was standing up from the provocation.
The artists who inspired me were Davinci and Henry Moore, who had portfolios of charcoals and chalk. It was pretty inspiring for me and influenced me to work with charcoals, and the tones and styles are a little bit. to walk in with. It's sometimes challenging for me to figure out who's inspiring me to sketching because there were plenty of ideas I could look up from the artist and plenty of inspiration and. It's daven. She is the one who works very great with charcoal strokes and pastels as well.
The materials I used are fantastic because you can use any water to create life with a very slight watery effect. I applied the water, the paper, a toothbrush, and a thick, large brush. So when I wasn't flying the choke, it would spread across the areas. You look at the orange and how it spreads across, and the effect is similar to that of ink and watercolour; it's like, I don't like her. It's fantastic to see pastors throwing across Ross what we believe in, not just. Mesh effect: We could also create animation integration if you'd like. It was a significant smudge. It's much thicker than Charcoal and pigmented, which creates shapes and models faster than we draw the outcomes.

Pretty much.
You can indeed look spells up online IRL, and whether they're actually worth a damn (for whatever context applies) is at least as hit-or-miss as food recipes, and even harder to verify.
It's the same kind of research problem the 'net provides for any topic, really. The more you already know about it, the better equipped you are to find real, valuable information about it, because you can spot the bullshit more readily.
So an experienced witch looking for a specific, known thing online? Realistic.
A total newbie having no idea what words to use to look up what they need to know, much less how to evaluate the results they've gotten, and being fucked over by guessing wrong? Also entirely realistic.
BuzzFeed Spell Hacks = WitchTok. It's already there.
Ive seen people be like in modern fantasy like "oh the pritagonists can just look up spells on their phone how do you solve that"
Imma be honest most people who go on recipe websites and book every recipe they see don't even use them lmao why would with be different
#fiction only accounts for parts of reality#online research#is such a crapshoot#“Just Google It” was already a problem well before AI came along

How to use search engines to become an internet researcher
You'd like to learn the steps to becoming an online researcher, and it's already a reality. Although you may not consider yourself an internet-based researcher, you've likely been doing it since you've had internet access. But you need to get the money you deserve for it. Some Web Design London firms weigh your down, and bills pile up. You may like to work at your home. Being paid for doing what you already do would be a lucrative job. Of course, beginning the career of an online researcher is different from looking on Google (or any other search engine in general) to find answers to your questions. A variety of industries depend on the reliability of research, from the medical and academic fields to political, legal, and many more. Thus, online researchers are highly sought-after. Where and how do you begin? This is what we're going to discuss in this article.
Search Engines:
Search engines, often referred to as search services, enable users to search for contents of documents and pages via the World Wide Web. Web Development London agencies create search engines using programs and software. These programs, commonly referred to as spiders and robots, scan the contents of Web sites to build an index that contains Web pages.
Knowing about the top search engines is crucial for efficiently searching the Web. Knowing how to utilize all search engines can be an enormous task. Deciding which search engine to use for a specific search and being able to develop effective queries could significantly impact your outcomes. Many search engines offer search capabilities, including Boolean Operators, keyword, field searching, phrase search, and term proximity.
Search engines are classified similarly to print indexes in general multithreaded, subject mega search, parallel, or meta search engines. Read more about How to use search engines to become an internet researcher

me: finally accepting theres a good chance im autistic and starting to work up the courage to ask my parents to see if i could get a diagnoses but being scared to
my mom: do you ever think you have adhd? if you want to do a screening for add next time your at the doctors you can
me:
#for context im terrified of being the person who sees stuff online and diagnosis themselves and then is wrong#which is why it took me so long to accept im —probably— autistic (bc now i have done research and stuff for it)#and id see adhd things that were relatable but i felt i related more to the autism + self diagnosing both felt weird (for me not in general#but now like. my mom is willing to accept i might have add??#(there was a long talk in between her asking if i ever thought i had it and her saying i could get a screening where we both agreed that#—if i did have it— i didnt have the hyperactive part. hence the add vs adhd thing)#and now that kinda through off my plans because like. what if i do also had adhd. or something#so yeah small crisis woo#i need to actually look i to symptoms and stuff for adhd though#because im not saying anything til i know more about it and if i actually do have a lot of the things#but this also gives me a chance go write about the autism things as well bc i told my mom i would look into the adhd#so now i can hopefully find a way to bring that up#ive mentioned that autism is a spectrum recently which i didnt think she knew before#so progress i guess#wow long rant in the tags whoops#jasper’s posts#moots have some jaz lore i guess
