Last book I finished was Untold Night and Day by Bae Suah. It’s very short, very atmospheric, and very weird. I’m still trying to decide if I liked it or not.

Demon City Oni Goroshi. The acting was top tier, the visuals were stunning, and I supremely recommend it but be warned, it’s violent and emotionally brutal at times.

i was thinking of going xoph’s nurture burning arrow chieftain but 3.9 launches in like a few hours and i’m having second thoughts... i’m not sure that build actually looks good, what if xoph’s nurture is too expensive? etc.

instead idk if i should go oni-goroshi tectonic slam jugg or fire conversion shockwave totem chieftain, someone help me

Sigh do I fall into the trap of farming Oni-goroshi at the beginning of the league? Looks pretty sick with the new slayer changes and cyclone but it takes so LONG

so there's this sword in Path of Exile called Oni-Goroshi  that is pretty unique in the game, it's like a classic fantasy rpg intelligent sword, talks to you and has an ego, it also scales well throughout the game for a sword that can only drop in the first tutorial zone (you can also gain it through divination cards or buying it in a trade league). I wanted it to play Solo Self Found Hardcore though so i created 5 characters to farm it. It took me 22 hours and 47 minutes which is pretty unlucky but it's finally over.

but then ....

a second dropped 5 minutes later ......................

but now i’m finally ready to enter the second zone >.>

I Farmed the Oni-Goroshi

What a journey! I cycled through 4 Scions for about 5 hours of playtime each. That’s 20 HOURS of the Twilight Strand. Just a bit of math: if three runs took about a minute and a half, that’s more than 900 Twilight Strands!

Once Uber Hillock FINALLY appeared, he wasn’t any tougher than normal. He had a lot more health and spawned adds, which weren’t a problem with spectral throw’s piercing.  Honestly, the hardest things about the fight were my shaking hands and the fear of my computer crashing randomly,

Loot:

The sword was only 30 chaos by the time I got it to drop.  In those 20 hours, I could have gotten to endgame and farmed enough currency to just buy one from another player. Not to mention all the uniques I could have had drop and sold along the way.

I can safely say I will never do that again. Though, I am a little proud to have  farmed it on my own. Plus, it’s 1% from perfect!

TL;DR: IT WASN’T WORTH IT!
