When it comes to nsfw account, even when ccs states their boundaries, ppl are going to do what they want. Ppl arent going to like nsfw accounts and that's okay. They just going to be in their own little corner in the community, do their own thing, block many ppl and ccs from seeing what they say.
If you are a sfw account, why interact with an account you don't like? They minding their business. Just block them.
Also to add on: I know it doesn't make it right to disregard a ccs boundaries but if the person that chooses to ignore them does everything to block the cc from seeing things they talk about and don't interact with sfw accounts, you just gotta let them be. Block them for your own self.
#thats what you have to do#and if you call out make sure you do it privately in dms so no onese gets exposed to certain content#gotta be careful#mini rant

h.e x.uan's hair curls when it's wet. he also dislikes drying it when he comes out of the bath. actually I'm pretty sure when he comes out of the bath he dries off just enough and doesn't bother to get dressed, just lounges around in a half open robe and walks around barefoot. he also hardly puts up his hair most days.

while this is obviously true outside of the us, it does still showcase an interesting element of the typical usamerican social psyche: the concept of work itself as virtuous, even when it serves no purpose.
a common example of this is a pair of fictional individuals, both potato peelers by trade. both peelers make minimum wage peeling their potatoes, and suddenly, both peelers win a large sum of money, such that neither needs to continue working, let alone peeling potatoes, for the rest of their lives. one peeler takes advantage of that, and quits peeling potatoes for a living for the rest of their life. the other—a paragon of the ‘american dream’—persists in peeling potatoes. a study from ulhmann et al. in 2007 showcased a discrepancy in attitude amongst usamericans on these two potato peelers. not only did the participants feel positively towards the persistant potato peeler, they also felt negatively towards the young retired peeler for refusing work. (this is one of many consequences of puritan protestantism on modern usamerican culture.)
while this example is a larger scale than the social dance’ mentioned by op, i think they serve as parallels of each other, with a commonality of ‘working for works sake’. again, while this does occur outside the us, i would imagine its in no small part due to the pervasiveness of yankee culture—be it more subtly, or by force.
readable link to the article i mentioned: https://randomdomainnamehere.com/docs/Uhlmann.Poehlman.Tannebaum.Bargh.2011.pdf
seriously have been thinking about this all night long. call me autistic but the fact that 90% of workplaces the point is not to get your work done and then be done doing it but to instead perform an elaborate social dance in which you find something to do even when you're done doing everything you need to do in order to show your fellow workers that you, too, are Working . because you are at Work . disgusting why cant we all agree that if there is no work immediately to be done. we just dont do anything
#happy 4th#fourth of july#america#safe fur work#dont get me started#about anything involving the bizarre nature of usamerican culture#ideas like these and more insidious onese are so deeply ingrained in the collective psyche of these ppl#that even if a typical revolution were to happen#im not convinced that the result would necessarily be something too different than what is present now#obviously theres ways around that even with a clnventional violent coup#but i think that a unique case like modern usa needs a unique solution#ok seriously dont get me started on this stuff i will not shut up#also dont feel like doing any serious citation style for this bc its just a fucking textpost idc fight me apa

Dragons can grow to incredibly immense sizes. They are also extremely massive, existing basically only out of muscle, so they are thrice as heavy as they look (just like snakes).
And just like snakes, noodle dragons like to sleep all curled up. So how come they don't crush themselves? How come they don't crush everything around them?
That's because dragons who aren't babies anymore can uphold their magic in their sleep. They stay somewhat weightless during their slumber so that in case they sleep on something fragile, they won't crush it into a fine paste.
#headcanons#I like thinking about draggos#this only goes for noodle dragons though#not terrestrial onese#winged dragons are much lighter#aside from their heads and horns the rest of their bones are relatively thin#which is why they are covered in tough scales#gotta protect that fragile ribcage

i've always wondered what that font was but i've been too scared to ask :] it looks cool every time you use it though!
ty!!!! yeah its merchant copy which i rlly like to use in, well, nearly everything i create. i originally downloaded it when i was looking for pixel fonts for my rpgmaker game, and since then kept using it even outside of it. what my fav part is abt the font is that from the fonts creator, all the characters are actually taken from scanned dot matrix printer samples, which adds to the whole mixed media feeling i like to have for my art and main ocverse, CMYK.
#dectalk answering#my other fav font i like to use (though ive been only using it recently) is onesize. specifically onesize reverse!#bc its the font used in a good chunk of lucasarts point n click games#i havent really used it (only for an unfinished never published comic). but i also have qarmic sans#which is handy for comic like fonts that dont look too much like comic sans
