1. Do you prefer writing with a black pen or blue pen? black ideally but like, whatever’s there in practice? i seem to have got hold of an aqua blue bastard right now and i feel somewhat foolish

2. Would you prefer to live in the country or city? i love the country but i need to be in a city where everything is convenient and it feels like im part of.... something at least. the idea of being far from amenities is quite frightening to me given how paranoid i can be lmao

3. If you could learn a new skill what would it be? i know i already play guitar but i would like to be actually genuinely good at it rather than mediocre. i also would like to be better at doing makeup, and i’d really love to be able to make my own clothes alas i can’t even work a sewing machine

5. What was your favourite book as a child? omg megan horrible histories is such a shout. i did love those dragonology/egyptology/pirateology books though i still have them somewhere cause im not throwing away QUALITY like that

39. If you had to have a tattoo, what would it be and where would you get it? urgh i know exactly what i would get and if covid/money/parental expectations truly were no object i’d be getting little fragments of cathedral architecture from all the cities i’ve lived in tattooed on my wrists.

Today at 1:00 PM EST I saw Cats the Musical at the Shubert Theater with my mom. Here’s the saga:

Overture:

Mistoffelees was right next to me in the overture with glowing cats eyes and I nearly died right there.

I started crying during the overture, my mom gave me a tissue. Going great so far.

I started screaming at the end of the overture, people are starting to realize I’m a crazy person.

Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats:

Omg they’re here and they’re real and I’m here! I’m crying again.

I pointed out Cassandra to my mom as she came up the aisle. Mom is questioning why I know all the cats names.

MISTO AND TUGGER ARE CUDDLING EACH OTHER HOLY SHIT

The guy the cats call out for being surprised was right in front of me he looked So confused and scared and I was just grinning behind him.

Naming of Cats:

I’m whispering the words along with the cats. Plato made eye contact and smiled at me. I’m crying again.

Watching Victoria in the background is so much fun. She’s getting really into this.

Looks like the trunk is either broken or not functioning in this space so Jenny just kinda slid out onto the top of it but she’s so beautiful so I don’t care.

Misto is being such a helpful and concerned boy whenever Jenny is around. He’s very concerned when Jenny spaces out for a solid minute.

The Gumbie trio are angels and I will take this belief to my grave.

Munk is trying his best to keep Demeter away and she is not happy about it.

Bomba actually walked up with her arms extended only to hiss and scamper off at the last second. That’s cold girl.

Munk is being very protective of the cats around him. Tugger walked off and Misto ran after him.

Demeter has such a pretty voice and Bomba is so sultry and AH SHIT I’m crying again.

Bustopher Jones:

The actor did a great job but I honestly prefer his Gus more but we shall get to him later.

Second Macavity Scare:

The Jellicle Ball:

This was the happiest I have been in a very long time.

The dancing was gorgeous and the character interactions are absolutley amazing throughout the entire sequence. It was truly a wonderful sight. And yes I did cry again, I’m running out of tissues.

Pas de Deux:

I love that there was no awkwardness or hesitation, just pure love and devotion and OH MY GOD HE ALMOST DROPPED VICTORIA.

Like everything was fine in the end but he visibly stumbled and old Deuteronomy looked very startled for a hot sec. Still very beautiful.

Memory:

DANGIT GRIZZABELLA I HAD JUST STOPPED CRYING!

In all honesty my favorite part was old Deuteronomy looking longingly at her in the background. He misses her so much. ;-;

INTERMISSION :3

Moments of Happiness:

Old Deuteronomy’s voice is so strong and his vibrato is simply heavenly.

Misto with a boot on his head is more hilarious than it should be.

Gus has such a wonderful voice and it’s very clear he’s having a blast up there.

Gus received the standing ovation he deserved. Bless that wiry cat man.

This was a simply gorgeous performance. This Grizabella made some wonderful character choices and there was a beautiful satisfaction when Victoria took her hand.

I did notice that even after he touched her Tugger looked very uncomfortable at Grizabella’s presence.

Oh.. oh my god I didn’t realize the tire flew that high. OH MY GOD I DIDN'T REALIZE GRIZABELLA ACTUALLY FLEW AWAY.

Addressing of Cats:

Heavenly Deut voice, audience bursted out laughing at the “cat is not a dog” line and I can’t blame them. Crescendo, bows, and it’s over...

POST SHOW :O

After the show me and my mom went across the street to buy cookies and when we came out we saw them striking the set! Here’s them putting the tire in the truck! :3

Overall this was a magical experience and you bet your sparkly ass I’ll be looking out for when the tour comes back around to me. Now if you excuse me I need to buy more tissues.

A Merry Sprinkle Christmas

it’s christmas!! and of course i had to write something about a sprinkle-loving human :) presenting a lil very long fic of my sprinklebug au!! im overseas now so my laptop is miles away and i cant add the cut so ://

“3...2...1... IT’S CHRISTMAS!”

Marinette squealed as the clocked that ticked away on the living room wall proudly displayed 12 o’ clock. There were sparkles in her eyes as she tried to decided which gift to open first while she scurried to the christmas tree from her place on the couch, making Tom and Sabine chuckle. It was always a Dupain-Cheng tradition to open a gift at midnight every christmas, and this year was no exception.

Their home had sprigs of mistletoe sprinkled (yes this is intentional :> ) around with the scent of fresh hot chocolate filling the air. Stocking hung along the pretend fireplace aka the window, custom made by one (1) aspiring fashion designer of course. The kitchen was filled with food, drinks and ingredients for the upcoming christmas party happening in less than 18 hours. (Marinette was shamelessly counting down.) The tree was the centre of attention though, bringing twinkles into the house- courtesy of the fairy lights wrapped around it. Ornaments, each unique with a story behind them, was carefully placed on some of the branches of the tree, the collection constantly growing. There was no star though, as they don’t see the need for one. Tom joked that Marinette was their star what with all the commissions she’d received from Jagged Stone and Clara Nightingale. (“Dad, no! I’m not a star!”) Marinette once tried to add sprinkles to it but they all just fell to the floor which formed a pile of sprinkles around the base of the tree that made her sad.

Marinette was a whole new level of Christmas. She was decked out in her oversized self-knitted sweater with hand-sewn sprinkles decorating it and a cat pun right in the middle. (Gummy Chat would be proud of the cat pun part) Her christmas hat was lined with fake fluffy fur and a big, fluffier pom pom at the tip, decorated with-surprise!- even more hand-sewn sprinkles. Warm fuzzy socks were on her feet, in christmas’ colours, made to look like elf shoes with again, sprinkles made of thread. Almost covered by her hat were mistletoe sprigs pinned to the hair ties that held her hair in pigtails, a huge contrast against her black hair. Tiny bells jingled away on her wrists and ankles, making sounds wherever the sprinkle-obsessed girl went.

“Hang on Marinette. We have some new ornaments to add to the tree this year,” Sabine called out to her daughter, effectively halting the jingly movements. Another tradition in the Dupain-Cheng household, putting up new ornaments if they have any new ones to introduce to their myriad of not-so-new ones. The petite woman pulled out a blob from a box on the table. How did I miss that? Marinette thought as she finally caught sight of the red cardboard cube.

“This,” she gestured to the animal shaped piece, “is to commemorate Paris’ heroes for all they’ve done for us. Sprinklebug and Gummy Chat may not know this but I think they deserve to be celebrated with our other memories on the tree considering their contributions and everything that happened this year with the akumas.” She then put it up on an empty spot on the tree. It was a black cat with a ladybug on its nose. Marinette tried to keep her tears hidden, surprised and touched at the same time. At least one of them knows, Mum.

“There’s a second one, but it’s one of your presents and it can wait till tomorrow if you choose to open another present first.”

Any thoughts of which present to pick went out the girl’s mind, scrambling to figure out which box it is in. Tom laughed at his daughter with fondness before locating it for her, booming with much more laughter as a mass of sprinkles launched for it. 5 seconds of paper tearing and a lid thrown aside later...

*Gasp* “SPRINKLES! A sprinkle shaker! I’ve looked forever for one of these and you’ve finally found one! THANKS MUM AND DAD!”

Operation: Prepare for Christmas Party was almost complete by the 1 hour left mark, so Sabine told Marinette to go and prepare all her gifts and get ready for the party using the remaining time. (She knows how serious that human takes these tasks.) Marinette already triple checked everything the day before and planned her outfit, so all she was left with was hair and makeup which only takes 15 minutes. This means that she was able to sneak out the skylight as her super-secret-alter-ego to meet up with her partner as scheduled. Tikki was interrupted from admiring her present from Marinette, a mini sprinkle-themed dress, but she didn’t mind. Gift in hand, Sprinklebug soared across her city before finding the cat themed hero lounging around on the Eiffel Tower, whistling a christmas tune. He opened an eye at the sound of her landing, a grin taking over his features.

“Merry christmas, sprinkle-boo!” Chat said as a greeting, Sprinklebug returning it in a sing-song voice and a hug. The feline boy kept his eyes on the item his lady brought with her, curiosity definitely triggered. This made Sprinklebug giggle and give in to his silent request, taking hers from the centre of the roof when her friend’s tail pointed in that direction. They opened their presents together, too eager to wait another moment of say another word.

“Omg it’s sprinkles shakers with fancy sprinkles! I’ve been meaning to paint on some for fun and this is perfect! But... isn’t this an expensive brand? Chat-“

“Nuh-uh, no can do madame. I insist and you can’t say no. Also you gave me like 3 different things I should’ve gotten you more!”

They went back and forth for a bit before they burst into giggles, ending whatever “argument” they had. Chat then asked about the ornament that she had given him.

“Ornaments are sort of my family tradition, so i thought I’d make you one. Cat’s and gummy worms and a small pun too. It’s one of a kind.”

Tears swarmed in Chat’s eyes, threatening to fall. He needs to hurry home soon so that he can cry and swoon in pure bliss. He picked up golden thread when pushing away his hat so that he won’t accidentally get it wet. Inspecting it, his saw the name of his princess. Sprinklebug cursed herself mentally for not setting aside of her habit of signing articles of fashion with golden thread.

“Oh, that. I couldn’t knit myself so I commissioned Marinette to create this hat. I’m sure you’re familiar? But please don’t go asking her who I am as I did it via super suit. And before I forget, inside the bag with gummy worms is plagg’s cheese and tiny hat. Wish him merry christmas for me please.” My, what a mouthful you idiot!

“Ah, okay. Please do that same for me with Tikki. And thanks for reminding me, give her one of the shakers. It’s indicated with a little tag.”

They did a little more talking, ultimately bringing the topic back to how Sprinklebug gave Gummy Chat way more things which were also cooler and that he should have gotten more to balance it out.

“It’s really alright, minou. Seeing you smile and enjoying your present is way bigger than all the presents I gave you combined.” A warm smile was directed at Chat.

“Awwww is m’lady finally falling for my smile?” He was being a jokester and he knew it.

“You wish.”

They then parted ways at half past 5, Sprinklebug to prepare for a party and Gummy Chat to soon head over to said party. Not that either of them knew.

Sidenote: Adrien did cry and swoon in bliss for about 20 minutes once home though. Plagg just munched on the edible part of his present and asking him to stop producing “eye-pee” and check for everything before heading to pigtails’ party already.

okay first and foremost: obviously I love his smile, his overall eye smile, and his dimples. like his dimples are my favorite thing? but honestly the entirety of his smile, which brings out the dimples. the way his facial expression melts and softens and his eyes squint closed… and the way that sometimes when he smiles he slightly parts his mouth?? he’s the cutest and it really just… I can be in the absolute worst mood and if I see jooheon’s smile my day is just a little bit better. he really has the sweetest demeanor and and the softest, happiest, bubbliest smile.

I love those doe eyes that captured my heart and literally continue to capture my heart every day and make me super soft for him. I love his natural eyes but the lens he’s been wearing lately that are a lighter brown are so good on him!! I love how… his eyes sparkle… they literally hold the stars of the sky in them?? they’re always so sparkly and glimmering and they are just so pretty ughgugh staring into them makes my heart beat really fast but also I could stare into them forever although I’d probably get super nervous aksdsjlfdjk and break eye contact with him!!? he has such a soft but intense gaze. also I really love??? that thing he does with his eyes? where he suddenly WIDENS THEM OUTTA NOWHERE like sometimes it’s not even out of surprise, he just… blinks and widens his eyes and it’s adorable and literally gives me a heart attack every time and catches me off guard like don’t do that stop it hurts my heart but also makes me love him more. also his rapping? this one is obvious because he’s half of the rapline!! but he’s so talented. aegyo king… and how adorable he is… I just love him okay he’s super cute his personality is super cute and his aegyo is sometimes cringey but honestly it makes me squeal and it makes me embarrassed at the same time, but it always makes me happy. another moment of, I can be in the absolute worst mood, and if I see his aegyo? i don’t quite remember, if i’m being honest. he crawled and shimmied his way into my mind like a memory that was always meant to be there. it was like saying hello to an old friend. his voice, presence, talent––all of the things that make him what he is slowly took over my heart, like the way the sun just peeks over the horizon, its rays of light bringing warmth to all that it touches.

⇢ what’s your favourite thing about them?

his passion for his art is extraordinary. there’s something hypnotic about his fire; it crackles and burns quietly, and you never truly realize its power until it starts swallowing all that it touches. his fiery aura yearns to destroy and create, but it’s never cruel.

i could write hymns over his voice, his sleepy smiles, his intimidating stance. but inside of him lies a boy just itching to say his song, his heart bleeding and just waiting for someone to listen. luckily, i’m all ears.

⇢ who would initiate skinship more?

it would probably be me, although only by a slight margin. that’s one of the things that has always confused me about yoongi; his moods and desires for skinship change like the phases of the moon.

yoongi, and only because i’ll wrap him like a burrito even before we sleep and i’ll just sleep like a starfish beside him.

...me? we’re emotionally constipated people, so even showing the slightest bit of affection would probably one-hit K.O. the both of us. i suspect that on rainy days however, we’ll put aside our fears and hold each other.

yoongi. yoongi, yoongi, yoongi. it takes almost all the strength in my body to even admit to myself that i am slightly attached to a person, so even the thought of saying those three words feels like a burn in my throat. but the moment he would let those words slip from his lips, i would know.

oh, definitely me. he could put the toilet seat down after peeing and i’d be over the moon. just, people being considerate? for me? we shall marry when the sun reaches the apex.

⇢ what cuddling position would you two have?

i’ve never been into spooning, so facing each other with our legs laced together is what we’d probably do. it would start out with space between our bodies, almost oceans away. then, slowly throughout the night, we’d come closer together until my head is gently cradled by his hands, my face pressed against his chest as the scent of yoongi’s body soap seeps its way into my nose.

black and red. 

he is made of black, obstinate things. his irises, despite its darkness, they glow with something indescribable. it’s tempting, scary, unimaginable. it’s a color begging to be understood, to be loved.

he is made of red, fiery things. his fingers burn with a slight tinge of red from pressing piano keys and buttons for hours on end. it’s incredible, fiery, and warm. it’s a color begging to be shared. 

⇢ what season would you like to spend with them?

winter. i need him to chase away the cold with the heat that he brings, both figuratively and physically (if you know what i mean HA)

if yoongi wants us both alive, then he’d better bake the cookies. he’d be complaining the entire time though, and when he starts placing batter on the parchment paper, he’ll wonder why there’s suddenly only 10 servings when he was sure he’d made enough for 20. oops, and now i have salmonella. fun times!

we’d both make terrible puns. his would be more intelligent and cringey, whereas mine would be just plain cringey. i’d laugh at all his puns whereas he’ll give me a noogie every time my eyes would light up with a new, horrible joke.

we’d compromise and get 100 dogs instead. holly and poops (that’s my dog hehe) will produce hundreds of pups and we’ll star in a real-life version of the 101 dalmations.

yoongi to the rescue, as always. also, i am definitely craving a pop tart right now. he’ll have to carry me for months as i recover from my second-degree burns and diabetes from eating 12 poptarts in one afternoon.

neither of us; we’d be pulling back our idiot friends who would be leaning over the trail railings. or alternatively: we passively watch as those aforementioned friends fall and hit their faces.

yoongi would be squealing and crying the entire time, making those weird “ᵃʰʰʰʰʰ” sounds the entire time while i pray ten hail mary’s beside him. good times!

we’re both cheesy flirts attempting to be smooth. we’re chunky flirts.

neither of us because we’d just give up on the game once we realize we have to put 1% effort to win. although, we’re not averse to using alternative methods (i.e. cheating our evil butts off)

both of us are terrible at self-care. we’d constantly remind one another to do basic human routinely activities while simultaneously forgetting to do them ourselves. it would be a constant argument of “you’re too skinny!!” and “you’re pruning like a raisin!!” until one of our actual responsible friends will pull us by the ears until we actually go take care of ourselves. yoongi and zee: nation’s almost-dead couple.

Tbh that's already so long ago, Idek anymore. I always loved the dreamies ever since their debut. But I think my love for Chenle started during We Young era. I watched these "Zone! Zealous!: the gang of pretty boys" videos and I just fell for Chenle and his pink hair, so yeah, I blame these videos. :3

Can I say everything? But if I have to choose something, it's his happiness. He is always so enthusiastic and his sole laugh can cure diseases. No seriously, he always manages to put a smile on my lips, even when I'm crying and totally down, I just need this little sunshine and a smile forms on my lips again. And I'm very thankful for that.

I LOVE skinship,,,but him. Definitely. I'm way too shy to initiate as much skinship as I actually want to, so it would probably be him uwu.

I have a similar ask somewhere asking about Kaminari’s parents as well, so I guess I’ll answer both here?? As a general rule I don’t really like making headcanons over stuff I’m sure the manga will give me in the future, so I can’t say I’ve thought about this too much - there are a few things I work under the assumption of while drawing, like for example I’m taking for granted they both have at least functional families, considering Aizawa personally visited their homes to ask their guardians about allowing them back to school, and if anything had been weird he would have noticed

I like to think Kaminari got his quirk straight from one of his two parents with no mixing happening, and got the Kaminari surname from them as well, but that’s all I ever allowed myself to settle on as far as Kami’s family goes, everything else changes based on what I need for the current scenario I’m thinking about… I do often end back on him being an only child, though - in the same way depending on how angst or lighthearted I want it to be my ideas for Kirishima’s family change a lot, but generally I think I mostly fall back on the idea of him having a big family? In a scenario like that his parents are kind and love him a lot, but having many children and needing to split their attention on all of them might cause them to overlook him a little (it would explain his obsession with being flashy, for me) then again, who knows? I don’t know how canon you can consider the infos SMASH gives, but in one of the strips Kiri mentions working part-time, and the fact that he doesn’t seem to have problems with money kinda makes me believe he might be independent from his family like that (unless he’s a rich kid, also very entertaining as a possiblity)

I’ve seen a lot of headcanons floating around about both of these guys’ families and possibly being related to villains, that would be cool too, though I’m not sure how much I believe it

I’m sorry this ended up being little to no useful at all lol as I said, I just shift between scenarios a lot - imagine settling on one and growing attached and then having to let it go once Hori proves it wrong, that’d be terrible for me

chocolate all the way. I don’t eat it often, but when I do, I’m a snob about it - I only like the dark stuff (only vegan ofc). bonus points, if there’s dried fruit like berries in it. To sum it up (i’m taking this way too seriously and detailed lol, but I have insomnia ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) overall, chocolate flavour is better I guess, vanilla makes me vomit, it’s disgusting and I hate it. 12.vans or converse? I used to own a pair of converse, but neither are shoes I’d wear now

forests are awesome - they are green and smell amazing, you can spot a lot of wild animals and the atmosphere is very serene and calming. I’ll always pick forests over beaches, unless the beach is all sand or small round marble stones, the water is clear without the detached, rotting algae stuff that floats around and ew, the sun has fucked off so I don’t get sunburnt (my skin always skips the tan stage right to red and I prefer pale skin anyway) and all sweaty and shit, there are NO people beside those I’m there with and I do NOT spot any animal while in the water that’s bigger than like 5cm. Because even though I love and respect it deeply, I’m genuinely afraid of sea life, I don’t care that there are lots of totally harmless creatures. …lmao, I feel like a rich asshole saying all that - way too many demands. (sorry sea/ocean, I love you, but you freak me the fuck out)

I have dogs, but I love both. With dogs, the love is more likely to be returned though :D

clear night skies for star gazing, rain during the day

I eat mostly raw vegan nowadays, because it’s healthy I don’t have the energy to cook and can’t be arsed and I’m not too fond of eating in public so… preparing/eating food at home?

penguins, rats, corvids.. but like, birds in general and all animals are awesome anyway and precious and worth of life 35. favourite genre of music? alternative rock - which is a broad spectrum tho, so I guess rock sub-genres in general.. art rock, goth rock, punk rock my favourite (purely because of the name) is krautrock (aka kosmische Musik) which is the German term for space rock, but the literal translation is either herb or cabbage rock lmao :D throw in some psychedelic stuff, ambient music, experimental and classical and I’m good to go

Madame Bovary. I think The Great Gatsby was boring too. I don’t usually read books without researching it a bit before so I can somewhat predict whether I’ll like it or not. (btw, if you’re into fantasy at all, 10/10 recommend reading the series A Raven’s Shadow by Anthony Ryan, he’s such an eloquent writer and the plot and characters are incredible! 37. favourite season? Cinnamon Bone by Eliza Rickman. She has a really nice voice and combined with the melody it sounds very unique. Actually didn’t know who the singer was until a few days ago. She also performed in the weather section in a Welcome to Night Vale episode. Oh and I rewatched CATS the musical on Sunday, so like.. the whole libretto is playing in my head on loop :D I’ve pretty much known the entire thing by heart since I was like 8 lol

Not like professionally or since early childhood and all that, but I taught myself how to play the violin and I think I’m pretty decent. Same goes for drums. My dad and I low-key collect musical instruments, I think we have around 20+ pieces ^^

alone and helpless and in excruciating pain from whatever the cause was that didn’t kill you immediately though, so you have to suffer
