It's something she should've said even before they set foot into Coerthas. "I know you sensed something was off when we were last here and how some of the houses spoke to me. But the truth is I was once of a noble house." She took a moment to glance towards the gates. "I was at an age where I didn't get to learn about maintaining an estate. So, when my parents died. Everything sort of fell apart and my house fell. The church came and told me I needed to give up everything to them. I was homeless for a great deal of time before I'd gotten help at camp dragonhead. I haven't been back since that humiliating day. I wouldn't expect a friendly invitation from any of the other houses minus the Fortemps." Eliane lifts the hood on a cloak over her head. "Once we're in and somewhere we can chat. You can ask more questions. I just needed to warn you our reception might not be so great." She might be the warrior of light, but this failure of hers seems to still follow behind. -for Alphinaud!! No prompt!

The young Elezen had plenty on his mind at this moment. All the work they had done to get to this point. The enemies they had crossed, and the places they traveled to up until this point. Especially after what he would likely consider his biggest mess-up of all time. The wonder if this would even amount to anything, and if things would get any better than they were currently. It was a constant concern he had, even as he had found himself staring at the large building once he was halted.

It was also a halt for his mind, for the time being.

But she indeed had a point where he seemed somewhat aware that something had seemed to be off. Alphinaud simply figured that it wasn't his business at the time and that there had been more to be concerned about at the time. But the truth was a rather harsh reality check for him to be given now, of all times.

This. . . Would have been convenient to know before they were walking into the very place that had these underlying issues for her. They had cards to play against them that he didn't even realize they had until this moment. "I. . . See." One of his hands gripped for a moment, trying to think of what would be best to do in this moment. After all, this could end. . . Very poorly for them with the additional context.

"Allow me to do the majority of the talking for us, then." Perhaps they could get through this without them noticing too much, or using it as a card, if he was acting as the main force for them and the Scions as a group.

But he had many questions once this was all said and done.

It was something that the sibling didn't expect. It wasn't every day that Alisaie went and did an action like that, and he's known her since they were born! To get contact like that from her is akin to a blessing. Neither of them had ever been particular about contact, but given everything that's happened, he doesn't blame her at all.

What they had gone through together was something siblings would never normally go through.

He felt himself calm after a moment, letting out a quiet breath as he took his own arm and wrapped it around her as well. A small smile was on his face, and he pulled her closer to her. "It's been a big day today, hasn't it?"

Another day of being a Scion, another day of helping people.

To be fair, the other hadn't expected his body to react the way it did out of sheer relief that the scenario they were so concerned about was over. Perhaps he had been overworking himself, or the stress had simply built up to be some grand thing his body was taking on. But it was nothing compared to what she had to deal with up until this point.

"I'm quite fine, really." Just as quickly as he had found himself nearly on the ground, he was moving to get himself back upright properly. He knew full well that he was the least of the worries at the moment. "Are you alright? Do you need any healing?"

He could instantly feel the smirk form on his face at the mention of causing trouble. It was something he wouldn't normally condone, but these beasts did not belong here and needed to go. Either by force or otherwise, it needed to be done. And usually, in cases like these, they would go to attack them anyway, so it would be wiser to be prepared for it, just in case.

"Indeed, let's." He responded back, letting his nouliths rise up into the air. "This shouldn't take long, it'll be simple to be done and over with." To get the beasts out of the way for those passing through would be a act of service, and he was ready whenever his sister was.

He did, indeed, thought about the words in a less serious tone than usual, closing his eyes and humming as he felt his mind wander to various times when his life was, indeed, a 'living hell'. From slightly more pleasant things to the more traumatizing moments. He knew his sister was teasing him, especially since it was due to them being next to one another's sides after some time.

"I highly doubt it. Whether I shall do the same, however, has yet to be noted." He opened his eyes, a smile of amusement forming on his face. He wasn't the best concerning sibling teasing, but being around others from other regions has helped him learn a lot about the best ways to do so.

"Just because you claim as such, does not mean it's entirely true." He found himself pointing out, well aware of the fact that his sister could be a bit strong-headed. Just because she said she didn't need assistance in her own eyes, didn't mean it wasn't the case. It would be far from the first time she tried pushing herself past her own limits

He found himself staring at the other for a moment, lips pursing until he let out a quiet sigh. "Please, allow the assistance. It isn't as if anyone will judge you for doing so. I worry for your health and safety carrying so much at once." If he allowed his sister to get hurt, he worried about how his mother would react, as well. She was always one to worry about the two of them to extreme degrees. It was why he enjoyed being a healer when his sister fought with her red mage capabilities. But he just wanted to be sure she would be alright with such weight to deal with.

"It seems not, unfortunately." He admitted, albeit hating the fact that he had to do so. They were so far along with what they were doing, that to go back would prove far more dangerous than simply finishing off to their destination and taking care of the intended situation. Even if it meant doing so more or less on their own. "It looks as if it may just be the two of us for the remainder of this until we can meet back up with the others."

But he trusted his sister and her capabilities, and he trusted himself with his own class. There was little reason to worry as long as they didn't come across anything unexpected. "We should get moving, the longer we stand around, the more likely that something will find us that we don't want to go against if we can help it."

He always absolutely despised when his emotions got caught by another. While it wasn't by far the worst person to take notice of it, it was still someone that already had plenty of her pate. Tataru was always busy getting as much as she could done, not only for himself but for the rest of the Scions. It made him wonder if she ever had anything she ever wanted to get off her chest, with little opportunity to do so.

". . . That would be nice, Tataru." He found himself admitting, closing his eyes and tilting his head forward a bit. It wasn't quite something he wanted to speak about yet, and he wanted to try and take care of his issues on his own before he went relying on other people to assist. It provided both himself, and what he was sure was the Lalafell's, a moment to themselves. Not needing to think much of anything, but just...

A chance to breathe and take in reality as it was, currently.

"Hm?" The Elezen found himself looking up, confusion in his eyes. He hadn't been quite paying attention to whatever it was that may have just been happening prior to this moment. He had spent a considerable amount of time looking at the plans that the rebuild had been putting into action, and seeing if there was any way they could be improved for the betterment of both sides. Though he didn't recall when it was that he had started, he could gaze and take notice of the fact that the sun seemed to be rising.

"Oh, Alisaie. I was just about finished with this." He mindlessly moved to put his quill down for the moment, pushing himself back against his chair. "Is there something you need? I can take a moment to assist."

He had no idea what was coming to him-

"Unfortunately, you hold a fair point." If they wanted to continue onto the next step, they needed to let this play out. If they didn't, then it would be doing too much too quickly. The last thing they needed to do was overwhelm the Warrior that they held close to them. Everything from the start had been a lot for all of them, so they likely felt similar to how they did back then.

There were so many new terms, so many things they needed to learn and understand before trying to take on saving this world. "I will be patient. I cannot claim as such for Alisaie, however... She's always been one to rush into things." He loved his sister, but she was a tad reckless sometimes...

"Oh- I have, actually." He had been quick to pull out his sketchpad, excited to show some of his works off and pick a few out for the two to be able to see. "It's mostly landscapes as of late, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind one or two. In fact, they may find it interesting to see more of the Source altogether."

There was a whole other world they couldn't see, after all.

He was flipping through the pages a bit before being able to offer a few to Meiko. One of the Garlean landscape, one of Alisaie talking with someone, and the final one being of the great Viera before him. "Take good care in getting these to them, alright?"

He had thought he had finally gotten over the panic attacks. They used to be common when he had started with the Waking Sands, and especially peaked when they had to flee to Ishgard. But he had been waking himself through it a bit at a time. They still happened during overly stressful situations, but they were nowhere nearly as constant as they used to be.

So, why now, of all times?

He got to a corner where no one was around and sat down against the wall before it ultimately settled in. Pulling his knees up, he used this in order to hide his face from others for the moment, trying to work on keeping his breaths slow and steady. A little at a time, slow but overall helpful.

He just. . . Wished he knew why it came on. Perhaps he could tell something bad was about to happen? It'd happened a few times now, and he hated every time it happened to be right. Closing his eyes, he made the effort to take a slow breath in. It. . . Wasn't the time to be questioning it, it would only make the attack settle in worse.

Then, he heard footsteps, and his attention snapped toward the person he could tell was right by him. The recognition of the person instantly settled in-

"A-aria?-"

This couldn't be happening right now, this was the last thing he needed-

The elezen had been working for several hours, enough so that it could be considered borderline days instead. He was searching for information, but no matter where it was that he looked, he couldn't seem to find anything. It left him at a loss, a fact that was difficult to swallow.

What was there that could be done? Surely, there was more to be done than simply sit there and allow the warrior to do all the work. Within the tomes provided to him by the House that once graciously allowed him inside their home, there were bound to be answers to at least some questions that they had.

After the events that took place, many held questions regarding primals and their place in the world. If they were connected to the beasts that were once their own, transformed into anything but. He was only taking a short break from assisting in Garlemaud in order to see if there was anything of interest he could find.

After all, within the mainland of primals, there were certain to be tomes regarding them.

But perhaps he had been a bit too obsessed with the topic. He could feel himself barely phase into the world of waking, enough to feel the fact that he wasn't in the sitting position he once was in. But not so enough to fully comprehend what was happening. After all, he supposed, the amount of time he was focused on it was enough to make it so that sleep was more important than knowing who it was that had ahold of him.

All he knew was that the moment he felt a soft surface against him, he was once again in his much-needed sleep state.

He hated to say it, but it seems that he has been bested for the time being. She was right in every regard, and he knew pushing it anymore would lead to getting told off for now worrying about his own health. It seems that she was looking for a break, as well, so there was little reason to refuse at this rate. "Perhaps. . . Just for a minute. For both of our sakes."

The twin took a seat, letting out a breath as he tilted his head back to try and relax a little. His mind was still racing a million malms a minute, and there was plenty still on his mind outside of the newest round of chaos that has been thrown out into the open. The status of the others, figuring out what to do next, and the possible findings they may come across next. It was always something he had on his mind, trying to figure out the best course of action for himself and anyone else who may trust his judgment.

However, the comment she had stated had instantly gained his attention, his attention snapping to the other with wide, shocked eyes. "You had managed to sneak into Labyrinthos, of all places?!" He nearly couldn't believe his ears. He hadn't realized that was something that was possible until they snuck in themselves, but the possibility of it having been done by her in the past was a whole new thought entirely. "How in the Twelve did you manage that?"

"Mental fatigue can be as bad physical fatigue." She gestures to a nearby seat, keeping her eye on him to ensure he at least takes a seat. The mental tiredness was a feeling she'd grown overly familiar with. Though, she tends to hide it until it's too late. Well no. It's been a good chunk of her life honestly.

"I'm exhausted too." Admitting it to him might help him find some sort of comfort in knowing he wasn't alone. "We've all been through far too much hardship. More than any person should face in a lifetime. I bet you if you asked the others they'd share the same sentiment. Neither of us would be doing any good if we weren't feeling a bit better."

Though, she might as well give him a fun little reason to take a seat for a while. She's been known to have some interesting stories of her life. Eliane takes her seat and flags someone down to ask if they'd bring the two of them a hot chocolate. "Let us relax for a moment. I'll tell you about the time I got to visit Sharlayan when I was younger and 'accidentally' got myself into Labyrinthos when my father wasn't looking." She totally did it on purpose.

She could say that, but he was still going to do so. After all, she was still considered a dear friend and ally. So there was always going to be a concern for her. If anything, he hated how he tended to be the one to be asked the question instead. He didn't see her get asked if she was alright often enough, and it always made him wonder just how okay she was overall. But. . . It tended to be something he didn't feel was his place to ask in the first place.

Not to mention. . . There was the attempt to make him rest, as he almost expected.

"It was little more than a simple mental barrier. I can continue-" He found himself surprised to hear the mild threat of his sister getting told about it. The primary 'threat' to being able to continue for one another more often than not. "There's no need to bring Alisaie into this, I assure you. She has enough to deal with as is." It would lead to. . . A lot that wasn't nessicary by any means. Not right now.

"You don't need to worry about me." She was already helping by bringing him back onto his feet. Ensuring he could stand on his own. Then, she folds her arms over her chest. It takes quite a bit to knock her down. The blessing of having dragon's blood flowing through her made it easier to withstand hits. But even that has its limits. Fortunately for her, it was one of those times.

"You should be concerned about yourself right now. Go rest. Even healers need to keep up their strength in order to help." Her healing skills are... very questionable... But being raised by a parent who had been a healer, she knew how important their rest was as well. "I'm more than fine. Really. It's nothing I can't handle. Go rest."

But if he's resistant. She's got trick up on her sleeve to make him go rest. "If you refuse, I could just tell your sister about this... Surely she knows a way to make you rest." She makes a playful grin.
