Okay so I'm friends with one of the Archeologists here in Ohrken, Dr. Dawn. Not going to go into too much detail as to not lose the point of this post, but her job is to photograph the accessable sections of the many ruins of the region, partly for preservation mostly for a lot of regional governmental requirements and other crap. Well, she was looking at some of her pictures before sending them off when she noticed the lil guy on the floor in this one. She went back and it was gone. She's both excited and freaked out haha, unown haven't been documented in the region and this guy doesn't look like any form I've seen, so new discoveries may be coming out way, I'll keep you updated the best I can, very exciting stuff.
A closer look.

You receive a package, it's a jar about the size of a large pickle jar, inside is a red liquid, in which floats red orbs about the size of a golfball. Tied to the jar is a note.
"Howdy there, hope this finds you well. I figured I would share a taste of the Ohrken region with some of my fellow bloggers. These are a berry native to Ohrken called Cran Berries. These ones have been pickled so they may be a bit tart. Stay safe out there."

Thank you for this gift sveppir my volcarona blaze appears like he want to steal the whole jar, because I think he recognizes that jars usually have yummy things in them usually. But anyway I've sent some stuff to you as a couple thank you gifts including some oran and sitrus berry jam. Which I used berries grown on my rescue alongside some homemade fire/bug type treat mixes with a small jug of grayp berry juice which is a species of berries native to ikron the region I live in.

Thank you very much! We here at the LPC appreciate it! I had the berries sent to the aviary in Fortree, and, wouldn’t you know it, we caught our one-headed Doduo, Asuka, fishing for berries!
I think it’s safe to say that these are being enjoyed by our residents here at the LPC!

oh
thank you so much!!
they look quite interesting, pretty different from any other berry I've ever seen before
I'll talk to my wife to see if she wants to try some or maybe add some of them to her dishes
are they safe to eat raw?
do you have any spare seeds?
do they have any special effect like helping with sickness or something?
sorry to bombard you with questions, I'm just a tad bit curious

The Ohrken region is one I haven't visited yet but one of my older modelling friends has...
What's it like there?
( @keiths-fashion-corner )
Its a rather strange place it feels like you are on another planet sometimes, its cold in the winter, hot (to me) in the summer. Most people are friendly but the older folks are real suspicious of strangers due to many years of isolationist propaganda. I remember my first year here I got splashed with holy water by an old lady convinced I was some kind of evil spirit. We have some very pretty volcanos, most of them are dormant or dead but quite a few are still active, which makes it strange that we have very few known species of fire type pokemon (seems to be a trend with northern regions). We have a lot of species of pokemon here and many regional variants of known pokemon, as well as a handful of new species. The human population is very low here, with about 35k people in total with natives making up about 30k of that. There's a lot of history to this place and a lot of ruins, and in the last few years as more young blood has gotten into the regional government so archeologists have finally been able to start documenting a lot of this stuff and been finding a lot of crazy things in the last few months. I've been documenting my friend Dawn's encounters with what appears to be a unique subspecies of unown, but she's not the only one looking into all this its pretty crazy stuff. Anyway enough on that tangent, anyway yeah its a pretty interesting place.
#Ohrken is based mostly on iceland as well as my local area and the Faroe islands along with a few other inspirations#pokeblog#pokemon irl#pkmn irl#pokeblogging#rotomblr#pokemon#pokemon ranger#rotumblr#pokeblog rp#pokeblr#pokemon unreality#Ohrken Region

Thanks!! I appreciate it!!
Unfortunately, I... can't eat food anymore. It's just not something I have the ability to do now that I'm a ghost. I'm sure that my Pokémon will appreciate them, though!! I mean, if they're Pokémon safe, that is. I hope that's not rude of me.
That said... "Cran" is kind of an odd name for a berry, isn't it? I'm used to berries having descriptive names, like ice berries treating burns, or burnt berries helping with frostbite. Does "Cran" describe something like that in your region's native language?

Ooooo!!!
Thank you so much!! These look really good :D - I like tart and sour foods so I think I'll enjoy these a lot.
I've never heard of your region before! What's it like? What pokémon are native there? Is there a type that's more common? What biomes does your region have?
